I love FabRats Paul is what you could call a real man.I know pain hurts but he doesnt show it. Dude is tough as what he builds and he treats everyone with respect. Im 62 years old and one day ill be half the mechanic he is. Thumbs up to the FabRats family and company.
Hey Coop! You make a sweet addition to the Fab Rats crew, way more than just slingin' a camera. Can hardly wait to see the finished product on this Peterbilt build. Love our Fab Rats!! Yee haw!
Hello to all of you Fab Rats. Paul, I'm looking forward to seeing you trick out your new to you, Peterbilt. This will be an epic build that everyone will be waiting for.
Nice people takes a roadtrip to pick up a old truck, meets good people that sells an old truck. Doesn’t sound extremly exiting to watch….. Strange how nice people can make things interesting to watch🤗👍 A real “feel-good” episode of FB right there!!
Spent two weeks in Oregon in October 2024. Its a stunningly beautiful state, no end to the variation in the topology and geology of the land. 100% would recommend. Thanks for sharing your trip guys. It's is a world away from Utah for sure. Nothing feels better than coming home after a long road trip.
I moved to Seattle from VA back in the 80s, I didn’t see the sun for two months. I laughed to myself at people mowing their grass when it’s raining, then I realized if you don’t mow during rain, you don’t mow. But when the sun is out, what a gorgeous state. When I moved back east I drove thru Utah and was mesmerized, and made a commitment to come back and explore. Now that I have a new truck, I am too scared to, I have the issue with the right foot as Paul. Only difference, he knows how to drive and my only experience in rock crawling is my ability to run over curbs in suburbanville.
I've lived all my 70 plus years in Michigan, Oregon sounds something like here, except for the ocean, great lakes but not the same. The joke here is you have 9 months of great sledding and 3 months of crappie roads. Michigan should change their symbol that represents the state to those orange road cones.
That guy was so cool and i love his Chevy Chevelle omg my Dream car.Thank you Sir for helping filming so we could see what was going on you did a good job. Can't wait to see what Paul does with your old Peterbilt Semi i know it will be something amazing
That was a great find and trip. The guy you bought it from was epic! Now I hope he might sell the car to Papa Dar. I just want to see Paul in it on the new skid plate... Thanks for sharing
Coop, you are lucky ou are young. So do all your crazy things while you are young. I once drove 16 hours with my dad, am very glad I did. was 20 at the time. Am 53 now.
Audio Books are better then music on long trips. I got my elderly aunts hooked on them when they would travel from Mississippi to Michigan to see family. They loved it. I would listen to them when I drive from Minnesota to Mississippi. Times fly with audio books. I would ride around just to finish one off.
Wow, that gentleman had lots of cool machines laying around. That Chevelle was beutiful. Good job Coop handling the cam. Great you made it safely home. Peterbuilt is gonna be a kool truck.
I have been watching the Fab Rats for a few years now and have seen all your different cameramen and I liked them all but Cooper is by far the best! Always good to go and always something relevant to say. Great attitude. I really like this video too, of course, but just had to tip my hat to Cooper!
Heck yeah that's going to be an awesome little tow truck. People don't understand to keep your channel going you have to do projects. In order to do projects you have to go find projects. Love what y'all do. 👍👍👍👍
Hey Guys.. Great find.. Build it Low and Mean and Secretly Fast.. That eBook, Terminal List, you two were listening to is also a TV Series, starring Chris Pratt from Marvel movies, Guardians of the Galaxy 1,2,3.. and Passengers and Jurasic Park and/ Tomorrow War.. You get the picture, he's Great in the Terminal List ..

If you ever get in a situation like that, you can unhook the trailer hook it to the front of the truck and then you can literally drive the trailer where you want it a whole lot easier I have one of my trucks rigged like that, it works awesome I bought a 10 inch drop hitch, flipped it upside down and stuck at 2 5/ 8 ball on it.👌

That build project is going to be SO cool. What interesting people you found in Oregon.. especially when he opened that door. Cooper's doing great and helping Paul with just the right amount of banter. Movie references involve everyone more.
Yessir let's freaking go i can't wait to see what this big ole girl turns into 🤔 going to be a very sweet project 💯🏁🇺🇸 marry Christmas guys and gals ⛄🎁🙏
Can't wait to see this 59' Peterbuilt in Paul's vision. F&F style ;) Looking forward to it. But yes, ya got to get Michelle's Jeepster done, like now!!! ;) winter project Paul!!!!!! Get on her ;)
Glad you got to meet a cool guy here in Oregon! He's not lying about the rain :). East side of the state is dry, but here on the West side not so much.
I just want to say "Major Kudos " to Paul Cox! Even though you broke your arm a while ago, it does not seem to have slowed you down in the slightest! In fact, I believe you have taken on more projects than ever lately!
Glad ya had a nice welcome to The Pacific Northwet guys! I missed the hints in the first few mins, but easily recognized that the area looked familiar with the trees, hillsides, and Blackberries...lol
If you mostly haul with that truck, I recommend looking into an external diesel tank for the bed. Lets you fill up a lot less and you can wire in a switch to gravity feed into your main tank.
Paul, have you ever thought about a front hitch for backing that trailer? Nena walked in just as you backed the pickup to the semi, "is he going to tow that!?" Laughter + OMG!
That guy was a riot. He has some sweet toys. I have a feeling seeing that old Pete leave didn't bother his family! The Chevelle, that might not be so easy to part with. That had to be a long trip spending it with Cooper. LOL
This is gonna be the build to top them all, although I’m in love with the tow truck and the JK, the picture of the “vision” for this truck really caught my attention. It’s gonna be sick

The book your listening to was fantastic... it was the last actual paper book I read. The movie was the bomb! Lookin' forward to the Fab Rats version of the needle nose tow truck from Hobbs & Shaw!
These are the builds I love, you take an old wreck and turn it into something wild.
This build deserves some nice chrome and paint! It took a real mother trucker to get into the driveway. I’m sure it was just as sketchy getting out!

1959 Peterbilt lovingly referred to as the "needlenose". It's going to make an awesome build.
that gentleman is my favorite kind of person. always got a story and laughng. super cool guy. plus cool projects
Cooper is an excellent addition to the Fab Rats crew. He does what needs doing, when it needs doing, and keeps a positive attitude while he does it.
Jack Carr is a for real BA. His Terminal List book lead to an amazing series, and at least one mini series on Amazon Prime Video.
He open that garage door and I fell in love
So did my wife...❤
here in Australia, that would be a close to 100k car as is.
10 miles on the Chevelle in 30 years? Why, just why? What a bummer. I would drive the wheels off that unit!

Peterbilt 💗I was driving a 1959 281 Needlenose up the Dalton highway. Before federal regulations got out of hand. I miss my truck 🥲
