Have a 2005 Chevrolet equinox with 73 check engine codes and the main issue I’m having is the cooling fans don’t turn on. I can turn them on with my scanner but don’t turn on by themselves and the car overheats I bought an used ECU off of eBay And I couldn’t start the engine because I didn’t know how it was done but I saw that I I still had like 73 codes. Do you know if it’s because the key wasn’t programmed? Everything for the cooling system seems to be working. I check the fuses and relays. They’re good I can see my temperature gauge is working and the scanner shows me the temperature that the engine is running at so I narrowed down my issue to the ECU. I also try erasing the codes with the old ECU and now with the new ECU and they seem to erase but they come back right away all 73 of them. Could be a grounding issue.
Follow my procedure to register the key, them the car would starts, but the used pcm its need to be reprogram with the right calibration, the used PCM has the wrong calibration and the old vin so this calibration it was run the old engine. The reprogram it need to be done by a dealer or someone has account to reprogram gm cars.
@@SamsAutomotiveS I hope so I got a 08 DTS that my need one but I'm not sure I'm getting battery voltage ground signal and low ref going to the coils but they don't spark
@@SamsAutomotiveS has 4 lol and I now got spark back I think it has to do with my battery its brand new but a junk never start if I jump it I get good spark

Привет. Что было причиной поломки, для замены блока управления двигателем?
Works. Thanks
So you don't really have to rewrite the VIN and mileage to use a junkyard pcm my state doesn't have inspections
Yeah you can use it..just has to do the key relearn..and the only thing wont match ur vin..

@@chestonanderson the coil plug has 3 wires if they do it should be 12v ground and computer pulse..
