Yes, both a beautiful & haunting piece from Artefact. Can't help to "hear" reminiscence of the vocal accents & embellishments that Madonna used during her late '90s project "Ray Of Light". Not that I am trying to compare Artefact to Madonna, but one can really hear similarities, at times, during the trembelo & vibratos of the lead vocal. Just my thoughts...
@@tracylf5409 Indeed "Tracy LF"; better late than never! Although I posted my original comment about a wee less than eight years ago; the song from Madonna's "Ray Of Light" album that I was thinking in more specifics about, was the international single "Frozen". The lead singer of Artefact's "When Francis Speaks" (who was "Yvette Roovers", at the time; no longer with the Artefact group) had a very wavering tremelo & sonic humble tone to it; an almost macabré pitch, that Madonna was attempting to use, to reinvent herself on the "Ray Of Light" project, which was co-produced & greatly influenced by keyboardist-extraordinaire, William Orbit. Again...just my VERY, VERY late thoughts on the topic. Thank you very much "Tracy LF" for your welcomed input. BCRadio
@@BolsaChicaRadio I've looked for this album for years in 2nd-hand shops, hoping I'd run across it in my travels- never did. Would appreciate a copy, for sure. xx
Pretty sure you'll be stuck pirating it. Band is long gone (far as I know), and the company who pressed the CD I have is nowhere to be found. A damn shame, really; incredible music. Glad for correction if anyone else reading here knows something I don't.
You can email me at and I would be more than happy to make you a true digital to digital compact disc copy of the Artefact album, or I can put it on a USB flash memory stick and U.S. Postal Mail it out to you, free of charge, just for the asking! I have one of their only CD's still in existence; an excellent work from Artefact! BolsaChicaRadio

Or, I can Dropbox it up to you. Much easier than snail-mailing a CD to you, right?
