In deepsea horror game 'Iron Fish', you can encounter an angler fish that appears to be Frankensteined from a bloody severed human head, mouth gaping and eyes bugging out. Right, that's horrible. But then it starts (loudly) spouting paternal platitudes, calling you "Petal" and promising to alway believe in you. Less nightmare from the depths and more greeting card sent by your nan when you leave secondary school.

But the one that really cemented the comedy was the one listed. I mean... stressful scene trying to get away from psycho vamp, find a way out, and SLICE! Watching that in the playthrough and Andy's banter to go with it legit made me laugh.
Every time I see Lady Dimitrescu, I can't help but think of that video of the guy running around with a fly swatter smacking her butt to see how long he could stay alive.

The Quarry - Yeah, littering is not justification for getting ripped apart, but disabling your transport and stranding eight people in the middle of nowhere is begging for something bad to happen. Not sure I remember correctly, but the counselors were also aware there were some missing people recently, too.

Ethan loosing his hand like that is so funny looking back on it, especially as his arm doesn't start gushing blood until he take a few seconds to look at it. It's only when he realized what happened that the arm is like 'oh, guess i better start bleeding now'
I haven’t played it, but from what I’ve heard about the ending him thinking “I should start bleeding now” is probably exactly what caused him to start bleeding.
I haven't played a lot of horror games, but I did recently play the RE4 remake, and I'll tell you, watching Leon choose to backflip off of a wall that has two chainsaws jutting through it was PEAK comedy. It was SO unnecessary and I laughed SO hard.
1:20 - Poor Jacob. Not only does he have to run from werewolves dressed only in his boxer-briefs, but he just can't catch a break. He was going to *pick up* that litter that _someone else_ left behind, until the spider scared him off. so mr quarry dude took about 4 seconds to strip off, including belt and shoes (presumably laced). for comparison, the fastest i could manage was 6 seconds with no buckles or zips to speak of
One moment that comes to mind is from the Daek Anthology Pictures games: The Devil in Me. Your characters just said to stay put and not get separated only for them to immediately scatter and one character falls down a trap door with the most pitiful sounding "Ahhhhh." It had me in a fit of laughter 😂 This was a fun video topic 😊

Limbs actually can be reattached and the skin and muscle tissue will regrow naturally, there are numerous cases of this. Clothes, however, do not repair themselves under any circumstances

I've always found one moment from Haunting Grounds to be hilariously silly if you choose to take it - the Iron Maiden cutscene. While being actively chased by a murderous Daniella, you have the option to duck into a lever-activated iron maiden to hide from her. To no surprise, if you do this in front of her, she just casually walks over and throws the lever, spilling your delicious strawberry syrup all over the floor.
You can't mention re village without mentioning the end segment with his daughter and how the game desperately tries to keep his face concealed even in third person

I don't know if you can truly call the Deadly Premonition one unintentional - based on what little I know of Twin Peaks, isn't a weird, meandering tangent perfectly on brand for a game so heavily based on it? I would also question whether James' little reach into the toilet counts as _unintentionally_ funny.
Resident Evil 4: Leon gets his head bashed in by a weirdo cultist with a mace, is sent flying several feet, lands at Ashleigh's feet, and she reacts indignantly at him trying to take a peek Up her skirt. Now's not the time, Ashleigh.
On one hand we might get to see jane and ellen build a rapport =]. One is eating weird sandwiches, the other seeing if she can get her clothes off in a 5 sec cut away, a natural duo lol
The Alan Wake series in general loves to just flip flop between being serious horror and then having absolutely weird and downright comical moments. First game would have you trekking through a foggy forest and getting anxious from the crunch of distant footsteps signaling possible enemies, then you find a TV and watch bootleg Twilight Zone episodes that feel like they were made by a high school drama club. Then the sequel, which amps up the horror elements to include gore and naked zombies, has you participating in not one, but two rock ballad sequences. One plays like an interactive music video where you're moving between the scenery as the song recaps the titular Alan's life, and then another sequence in which deuteragonist Saga has to fight a horde of Taken while her grandfather and granduncle rock out near the magical lake that leads to the dark place.
I wish to know this too and since the type of cereal would make a difference can't duplicate what she ate. Well that and my countries jams are more like American jellys.
Silent Hill 4 is chock full of unintentionally hilarious moments. Number one for me is probably when Henry finds Cynthia bleeding to death and softly asks “Are you alright?” Or the burping Patients.
My favorite is when you're attacked by flimsy-ass wheelchairs in Silent Hill 4. The things are rolling at a very non-threatening speed and bounce off each other like bumper cars. Seeing your character get steam-rolled to the floor by them is hilarious.
There’s a lot of unintentionally funny QTE fails in Until Dawn, mainly with Mike. Some standouts are him absolutely failing when chasing after Jessica and the sheer amount of plot armor he has during his second visit to the sanatarium, like when he stabs a Wendigo with a machete and then kicks it 10 feet back
did we forget that Jacob is the whole reason everyone got stuck at Hackett’s Quarry that night? He was the one that sabotaged the car at the beginning so he could have one more night of fun.
Honestly, one particularly funny moment I know of is in Outlast. When you enter the reception area in the beginning of the game, you can hit the elevator button. But instead of the elevator, you get a guy screaming as he falls down the shaft. Meant to be scary, but it's actually pretty funny to me. XD
Layers of Fear has a child run full tilt into a wall and just kinda bounce off. It is honestly one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
THAT'S the game I was thinking off! That doll-thing braining itself killed the tension dead. Amazing stuff.

One moment that comes to mind is from the Daek Anthology Pictures games: The Devil in Me. Your characters just said to stay put and not get separated only for them to immediately scatter and one character falls down a trap door with the most pitiful sounding "Ahhhhh." It had me in a fit of laughter 😂

My friend made the exact same comment about Ethan’s jacket in Resident Evil 8. Seriously I’ll accept the mold healing limbs being removed. But clothes being repaired is where I draw the line.
It's too bad that it makes complete sense in context.
Plot twist: Ethan is 'naked' and his clothes are also mold/part of his body. How he never realized this raises different questions.
Limbs actually can be reattached and the skin and muscle tissue will regrow naturally, there are numerous cases of this. Clothes, however, do not repair themselves under any circumstances

I've always found one moment from Haunting Grounds to be hilariously silly if you choose to take it - the Iron Maiden cutscene. While being actively chased by a murderous Daniella, you have the option to duck into a lever-activated iron maiden to hide from her. To no surprise, if you do this in front of her, she just casually walks over and throws the lever, spilling your delicious strawberry syrup all over the floor.
You can't mention re village without mentioning the end segment with his daughter and how the game desperately tries to keep his face concealed even in third person
Even Hardcore Henry managed to do a pretty good face shot and that movie never left first person

I don't know if you can truly call the Deadly Premonition one unintentional - based on what little I know of Twin Peaks, isn't a weird, meandering tangent perfectly on brand for a game so heavily based on it? I would also question whether James' little reach into the toilet counts as _unintentionally_ funny.

The Alan Wake series in general loves to just flip flop between being serious horror and then having absolutely weird and downright comical moments. First game would have you trekking through a foggy forest and getting anxious from the crunch of distant footsteps signaling possible enemies, then you find a TV and watch bootleg Twilight Zone episodes that feel like they were made by a high school drama club. Then the sequel, which amps up the horror elements to include gore and naked zombies, has you participating in not one, but two rock ballad sequences. One plays like an interactive music video where you're moving between the scenery as the song recaps the titular Alan's life, and then another sequence in which deuteragonist Saga has to fight a horde of Taken while her grandfather and granduncle rock out near the magical lake that leads to the dark place.

Silent Hill 4 is chock full of unintentionally hilarious moments. Number one for me is probably when Henry finds Cynthia bleeding to death and softly asks “Are you alright?” Or the burping Patients.

My favorite is when you're attacked by flimsy-ass wheelchairs in Silent Hill 4. The things are rolling at a very non-threatening speed and bounce off each other like bumper cars. Seeing your character get steam-rolled to the floor by them is hilarious.

There’s a lot of unintentionally funny QTE fails in Until Dawn, mainly with Mike. Some standouts are him absolutely failing when chasing after Jessica and the sheer amount of plot armor he has during his second visit to the sanatarium, like when he stabs a Wendigo with a machete and then kicks it 10 feet back

Honestly, one particularly funny moment I know of is in Outlast. When you enter the reception area in the beginning of the game, you can hit the elevator button. But instead of the elevator, you get a guy screaming as he falls down the shaft. Meant to be scary, but it's actually pretty funny to me. XD
