I have the Warp9 kit for 2 years now. The chain they send lasted a year. Guys, don't forget, its just a chain, buy another sooner. I bought the 100 link DID 420V for primary, split it, and still have a backup.
Yeah boy! LBX owner here. Northern CO. I'm running the Warp9 dampened 420 chain, and while it's louder than the OEM belt, I feel it's a safer bet for the backcountry riding I do. And I've got less chance of sneaking up on a mountain lion 😂
I personally chose to not keep and build on my ultra B because of the primary drive system, I require a proper gearbox for primary reduction because I grew up with mini bikes😂
Wow , primary drive chain like some old Triumph or Harley ( and some awful early Japanese items ) One reason the Storm Bee shares a place in my garage with other " modern " bikes ... Chains & Belts , more like Belt & Braces . Yes I know it has a chain final drive !
@@MotoAlias improper maintenance, completely stripped my talaria x3 belt and my e ride pro belt is just fine and the e ride pushes much more power and I ride a lot harder now. chain drives take away power, stretch a lot, and are very noisy
@1.crowder take away power... you have no proof of this and even if it was true it would be like 10 wattz of power 😂 obviously they're louder but to not worry about broken or stripped belts it's Def worth it. Idk how it's not common sense a chain is more durable and will last longer than a belt 😂 yall just argue9ng to argue at this point
High torque, 100 Ft. LB. motorcycles use a Kevlar reinforced belt, not a chain! The new E Ride Pro 3.0 (and others) uses a Kevlar reinforced belt, similar to a Harley Davidson! Time will tell, but I believe these new belts will outlast a chain, and minimize the wear on teeth.
A sound check of the stock belts would have been nice for comparison.
Chain tension makes a big difference for the sound! Loose is good! Lube also makes a difference!

What was the DB number stock?
Seems like that was a no-brainer to include.
The new Eride Pro SS 3.0 and the SR both have a new very heavy duty belt dive pulley so I don't believe they need a noisy chain system.
Still will have a breaking point and wear out teeth faster than a chain
@@MotoAlias there's no evidence to your claim.
@@MotoAlias Do we? Too soon to tell!
That 420 just… sounds so chill 😬💨💨💨

You don't need any of them if you stay out of the mud! The extra noise is terrible.
Running lots of power will break belts or tear off teeth
@@MotoAlias how much is that? been running 15kw, then 18kw, then 20kw and belt has been completely fine throughout thousand miles
@vesc007 then you ride like a grandma I've seen belts with no teeth left on stock surrons and I've seen bekts snap around 14kw

Ever see anyone use a belt dressing for those belt driven bikes?

Of course it's going to be louder if you hold the phone closer .
