Titanic Revival Rehearsal - Godspeed Titanic

It's been 17 years since Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Tony-winning musical Titanic sailed onto Broadway. To celebrate, Manhattan Concert Productions will revive the show for a one-night-only concert staging on February 17 at Avery Fisher Hall. The evening will reunite much of the original cast, including Michael Cerveris, Brian d'Arcy James, Martin Moran, David Garrison, and Becky Ann Baker, backed by a chorus of 250 and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
In preparation for the concert, the cast met with the press in their rehearsal studio to preview the event and sing through selections from Yeston's Tony-winning score. In this video, the full company gathers to sing the final portion of the opening number, "Godspeed, Titanic."

Eric Schaeffer is directing it in South Korea currently. Hopefully coming to Broadway in the next year or so.

I'd say wait for 2022, set the opening night in April, to commemorate the 110th anniversary. But yes, this needs to be revived.

When I first heard a musical had been written on Titanic i thought it bizarre but after hearing this score multiple times i have to admit. Brilliant work. I love it.

they should make a movie of this. Cameron's movie is its own sort of movie juggernaut, but there's stillplenty of roomfor a retelling, just as great films like"A Night to Remember" didn't stand in the way of Cameron"s.

I came to NYC to see RENT and saw Titanic as well ....i came back the next year just to see Titanic again , I was hoping to make it a yearly thing, but unfortunately, it closed the following March
