Very cool! That’s a beautiful bass! My first guitar was a Fender Squier strat at age 15. I still have it today, although I mainly play an old Ibanez RG.
@@naxshack my bass is a Mexican. I need money for trains! My first guitar at 14 was a used El Degas Les Paul Custom Copy. I loved it but sold it several years later for a Jackson, which to my young mind was cooler. I wish I hadn’t because I now know the history of the El Degas LP. The El Degas were a line of high quality LP copies made for the Canadian market by Ibanez until shut down in the later 70s due to lawsuits from Gibson. There are people now wanting one of those copies. I really wish I had mine still.
Oh man, that is awesome! Yep, Gibson likes issuing lawsuits for anything that remotely resembles a Les Paul! I get it though. And I prob would’ve done the same thing for a Jackson, in the eighties! Very cool story!! 🎸😎
Thanks Keith! I am not an advocate for graffiti either, but it’s everywhere and so I may as well point out the not offensive stuff. ☺️ I mean, promoting community gardens… lol
Hehehehehe. Oh Dave. Well, I waited almost two hours to see that train. They are not on a schedule on this particular stretch. I was well sucked of blood by the mosquitos by then! I am the guy people love to camp with.
That was a bit of a loco feast! Good job you were able to get a bit of a historical record before the repainting starts. Did I count 109 or 110 wagons/tankers?
Thanks! That would be awesome. They are unveiling a CPKC painted unit in Kansas City on May 18th. Many will see them before we will here. I look forward to seeing one.
Lol. Well… they don’t post times and are not scheduled. They load and go from Montreal, etc., when ready. They tore out the second track and single lined it because of lower traffic. I simply sit and wait. Generally there is a train sometime in the morning. Lol. Where do you live?
@@sidselver9072 I am told that the final run of the Renaissance cars will pass the station here in Casselman on Sunday 26 May at 6:13 p.m. Unless I’m sick I’ll be at the station.
Nice catch Terry! You finally got to see your KCS loco!
Hahaha. Yes FINALLY! Thanks John. 😊
Awesome catch Terry! You caught one!! Cool rolling stock too! I love your Fender shirt btw! 🎸😎
Thanks Brian! It only took months. Lol. I have a Fender Mustang bass. 😊

Great video Terry! While I’m not an advocate for graffiti I do think there was some pretty nice work there! 😁

Nice diesels Terry.
They sure are. Super cool Hunter!
Well that was well worth getting a few bug bites. Fantastic.👍
Train wasnt quite long enough. I had to watch the video 3 times to finish my popcorn🤣

Thanks Steve! I get cross-eyed, and/or lose track when I try to count them. Still not as long as the trains I used to see in British Columbia.
Nice set of diesels there 😉👍
Yep. 17,600 hp worth! UP sometimes pools with CP (now CPKC) when the need arises). I don’t see many UP units here in Canada so that was also special.
I always love seeing cpkc units and other units of different companies on the trains, hope you can be the first one to see the cpkc paint

Nice shot right there!
Thanks Matt! 😊
Looks like the mid-day mixed-freight 231. Oh, and that's the former station site where you're standing.
I had wondered about that! I knew a station had been there. I’ve only lived in the region since last August. Thanks for confirming. 👍😊
Of all the times I,ve passed thru Avenmore enroute to Cornwall I,ve never seen a train . How do you find out when they,ll pass by ?

@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi PDM you must have the patience of Job , but its well worth the wait. I live up the road in Embrun.

Now for a triple header at g scale 😊😊
Ohhhhh. Hmmmmm. That would require at least two people! But it would be fun. 🤩
