The day that Stone Cates died, after watching the episode, I got a call that a friend of mine died from complications due to AIDS. This episode still brings me to tears.
Robin recited my favorite quote from "Romeo & Juliet," and I was reciting it with her: "And when he shall die, take him and cut him out into little stars. And he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun."

I haven't heard in a long time about HIV. There should be more shows about it because it hasn't gone away an we should always protect ourselves from it as best as we can.
And even more so in 2023. A great show, how unrecognizable compared to them. Too bad, the executives lost their creative ear and only care about $$$. If you build it, they will come……make a great show and people will rush home to watch it.
Stone was so BEAUTIFUL!!! That chick is watching Brenda like a HAWK, LOL!!! Wait, so Simone is rolling with her boyfriend and ex-husband??? Brenda, Brenda, Brenda when Sonny asked did you need a ride all you should have said was YES! She better than me cause I would have said HELL YES and we be waking up the next morning in BED remembering Stone over breakfast.
@wvugirl1 Because she knew that Sonny was still in love with Brenda. Also, she knew that she came between them so she has to watch them when they're together.
Lily has to understand that she came into this situation late. These people have loved Stone way longer. She was an outsider and really didn't belong there. She is staring at Brenda and Sonny like she is all jealous when this isn't the time for that at all. I agree she has a apple head. She never fit.
@nushie2008 I agree with you. The storylines were much much better and you really were closer to the characters. In my opinion GH stopped being at it's best the tail end of 98. They need to write better stories for all their amazing actors.

I love how Rosalind Cash ( who was fighting her own battles and died) told Stone about Grace realized. One of the most poignant scenes ever. ❤
Back in the days when GH showed up for a funeral, no extras were ever needed in those days!!! Unlike now...just sad!!

Karen was alive at this time. she was living bin Chicago with her husband. Karen came back to Port Charles a year later
