Gorgeous! I'm a huge fan of the Neural DSP Plugin, but I'm glad for not playing live. Why am I saying that? The QC would definitely be my choice, but I guess I couldn't cope with it. Way too many possibilities. This is why I sold my Blackstar ID60 TVP. Instead of playing I was tweaking and tweaking... Got back to the roots with the Yamaha THR 100 Dual Head - few knobs, good tone. As always: Love your playing and I'm excited to hear, that there will be new music from you. Thumbs up!
Haha! I totally get that Tom! Sometimes simplicity is the key right? Depending on which type of gig I’m playing, I might use this in different ways. For my original stuff it’s going to be nice to be able to just scroll through different presets for each tune, but for session gigs I think I’ll set it up as like ‘Basic Clean amp and pedals’ and ‘basic overdrive setup’. I’m not one for tweaking too much in the middle of a gig! Thanks again for the kind words. I’m super excited to share the new stuff! 🙏

Jack great video…as an QC owner I must say that how touchscreen contrast/brightness was set up in your video makes it look like the bypassed block appears from nowhere…
@@JackGardiner no worries man…I know how it really works but people that doesn’t know the unit must understand that those blocks that you engage are there bypassed in a shaded look. Great playing and content !🎸🤘🏽
Yo! You should try a power conditioner, I run my whole studio through one and all my static noise issues are gone. Furman makes a few, but even their base model mitigates the problems entirely. :)

My comment was meant to address the problems the OP complains about at his place, so I assume the problems are related to his electric installation. Regardless of what it actually was, a power conditioner goes a long way. Single coils are remarkably sensitive to light sources, so change the lights, I guess?!?

Should have my cortex monday!! I used to run my fractal through SPDIF into my interface and use my interface as a main hub. How do I do this with the Cortex? I. only have one set of monitors.
Excellent intro song & demo of product 🙏🎸🎶. Love 💕 all the potential presets you can access. Elephant 🐘 in the room is whether people should ditch their Axe or Helix for this new product. I used Helix for live gigs. Great control but I’ve never been completely happy with tones. Interestingly was listening to early 80s live cut of Journey’s “Mother, Father” & then compared tone to Neal Schon’s recent live recordings. Even on TH-cam you seem to get more clarity from the older version lol 😂 Sometimes I feel more inspired messing with Master & Output volume while keeping drive lower to achieve fatter clean than I ever seem to achieve with Modelers. Lol 😂
Oooh yeah! There’s a couple of VH presets actually in there. I totally forgot to play one - my bad! I should be uploading some tones to the cloud ASAP!

Can you clarify for me, you are running it into an interface for this video? Have you put it in the front end of your amp, or in the effects loop? How did it sound straight into your amp? Hey man! Thanks so much! 🙏 I’m using the unit as the interface in this video, so all of the audio you are hearing is via the usb into the laptop! I still haven’t tried it into an amp (either in front or the effects loop yet).

I’m a newbie to this unit; was on early second wave buyers and I love it! Question - per running USB into your laptop (DAW) then out into speakers ? In other words, are we hearing the monitors in the background as the output sound? Dig the playing and the axe. Some of your playing/sound reminds me of Andy Timmons. Hey Aaron! It’s actually a problem with the electricity where I am! All of the guitars I record get this super annoying high pitched ring through all of my equipment! I move in August so hopefully that will be the end of it 🤣😬
Why is every device, every plugin, every system produced for guitars more suitable for the signal strength of Strat guitars? It seems to me that the circle is very limited for those who do not use single pickup guitars. In every examination made with single pickup Strat guitars, the tones sound more harmonious, more transparent and better. :) 😢
