Thanks so much for tuning in guys! I hope you're as hyped as I am! Those who are getting one of these bad boys... you will NOT be disappointed!
Honestly this is my first real outing with a modeller. I've used other stuff in the past but this is the first opportunity to deep dive with it and learn what modelling is all about. It's VERY different to dialling in an amp, and I had to learn that before I realised how incredible this device is. not just for the modelling, but all the other bells and whistles....
I can totally see how guys like Misha, Plini, Meshuggah and all those guys use modellers for their tones. Colour me impressed!
I tried to show off the fact that QC is capable on any tones. I love the strat tones I’ve achieved and the rest sound awesome!
Hope you enjoy the different tones I've dialled in. I'm only scratching the surface in this video but there's plenty more to come!
Let me know what you guys think of the tones you heard below!

I think what Neural does really well, is software. A good sound has already been there for a while, but think in terms of features how much Neural has brought to the table in such a short time:
    - Mobile app to connect over wifi
    - Out of the box sharing of rigs
    - Touch screen
    - Very intuitive UI
    - Neural capture of amps and pedals
And not to mention that the hardware innovation behind the rotary switches ( even tho this also has some implications, think of repair costs if you actually break one ), are solving one problem that other's have struggled to solved: Being able to easily tinker with knobs on all your blocks.
You have to also appreciate the mastermind behind the marketing strategy. At this point, it doesn't even matter if the cortex doesn't sound as good as the Axe FX or Kemper. People will just buy it because they are seeing their favorite artists hyping them up.
Great job Neural! Looking forward to the software updates you guys will surely provide to this monster.
Edit: Forgot to mention Adam Nolly "Getgood" being involved in this company. This is someone with extensive knowledge in the industry about how things are supposed to feel and sound, pouring their knowledge into making this product better.

Thanks Rabea, I am speechless. Why did this take so long to become a manifestation in this material realm! I've pretty much missed the boat being 70+. I have reason enough to be pissed!! But I caste those numb thoughts away, I still have a lot more juice left to splurge on. But in truth, it was the Neural Quad Core that extracted the nectar from me and my thanks and gratitude go to these committed geniuses who put their money where their mouth is, who despite the massive potential backlash, (which has begun with a vengeance) and that has now triggered a massive major debate in the guitar universe, .......I'd still be wishing on a dream! Wishing that my fingers could somehow extract tones and melodies on to which I could latch and fly on into my dreams.
We may not like all the tones and presets in fact we may like far less than the abundance of presets that are available. Remember, the secret is to listen, listen to the subtle tones flittering around and within the more dominant harmonics and frequencies that ebb and flow around you. Allow yourself to be drawn by subtle and sometimes brutal waves of magical harmonic content, but remember....... you have to listen..... listen intently.
You will hear, you will hear the incredible depths of the chimes placed deep within the choral strains, while the dwindling refrains of the delay draw one ever deeper into the hallowed halls of sounds, harmonics and frequencies. The slowly vanishing reverbs yearns to return before a new strike of the strings ushers forth more and more beautiful spaces into which I can loose myself and find my freedom within a symphony and sea of vibrations and phenomenal harmonic sweetness while silver mercurial notes droop from my finger tips attached with flowing satin threads to my finger tips. The nectar, the creative life forces awaiting my next musical command!
If you have the good fortune to be a guitar player and to deny yourself the opportunity to frolic with the intense beauty and magic of sound that the Quad Cortex, then I pity you, you have foregone the unique opportunity to experience, without doubt, the most remarkable audio devices to ever hit this realm.
Caveat: Please, you don't have to believe me. Just go and get it and thank me later.

Super stoked that they do pitchshifting - Was the main reason why I've stuck with the Axe Fx II for so long.

Most exciting demo I’ve ever seen! Brilliant playing, brilliant product! Loved the strat settings so will be spending time in that preset when the box arrives. But the toxic synth... oh wow

Sounds great. I have no doubt you could create the same magic and identical sounds with my beloved Kemper.
