Just spent a solid 2 hours on the internet looking for this song, without knowing the artist's name, the song name or remembering any lyrics. Don't even understand how I found it. Top song though.
Where I'm going, I'll go in Where I'm going, I never know Into the fire, half heart, you appoint me lover With a cord around your neck can I ever love her? Try your best to just stay sane I try to placate with no shame (Ooh) Ooh Exhale out, breath in, mark return to sender Fucking up on a five year bender I can only trust, only believe That our pleas will be the same (Ooh) Ooh We found a way We found a way We found a way, a way We found a way Always should A way What she's knowing, I'm knowing What she's knowing, I'll never know Tearing it up, go now, across the mighty river All the way to your father's pillar Make a mark for me in the stone Where the weeds have overgrown (Ooh) Ooh Let's go down, no talk, with a violent shiver Attack first, you always deliver If I go down with a gun to my head Just remember what I said (Ooh) Ooh We found a way We found a way We found a way, a way We found a way
He's an upcoming legend. Phenomenal. You'll never hear him on commercial radio. The fact that there's zero acknowledgment from the mainstream industry bears out this proto legendary status. It should be considered a badge of honor 😊
I remember when Benjamin had a video up of him playing guitar on the sidewalk and it only had like 2,000 views. I think the video was removed. Anyways, I'm glad this guy finally got recognized! He deserves it.
I want to hear this song always, all the time, when I'm awake, when I'm sleeping, when I'm driving, when I'm walking....... I'll find a way, hey! Been a long time coming, keep it up Ben!
I was mesmerized the first time I heard this tune on the radio a few months ago but never caught the title or the artist. Coming through Chicago this week, I heard it again on XRT, and they graciously told me it was Benjamin, and the title. As soon as I had a chance, I landed here, then bought the single for my Mac. Since then, I have played this tune almost exclusively for the past three days, including at 5 AM Sunday morning in the kitchen at a volume loud enough to make the dog moan in her sleep. The opening riff is a heckuva hook, the drums are compelling like something out of Keith Moon’s hayday, and the lyrics burrow their way into your brain. He found a way, Booker did. He found a way-ay-ay-ay-ay.
Damn, this is great Rock here. Benjamin and his band will do great in the future. Glad to hear young guys playing Rock. I'm 14 but I hate rap and pop, Metal and Rock all the way.
Well it’s 9 years later. Do ya still hate rap, pop, or hip hop? I feel like when I was 10-14 I also used to hate on rap and hip hop but as I got older I learned to appreciate all kinds of music.
Where I'm going, I'm going Where I'm going, I never know Into the fire I thought you upon me lover When I cried you didn't die ever in my heart Try to pass test the same I try to break it with no shame Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh Exhale her or breathe in and return to center Fuck it up on a five-year bender I can know that just I'll never leave her Please won't be the same Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh We found a way, we found a way We found a way, a way We found a way What she's knowing, I'm knowing What she's knowing I'll never know Turn it all Going now across the mighty river All the way for the last pillar Make a mark for me in the snow and Weeds above the bar Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh Let's go down Nuff talk with a violent shiver Talk fast you always deliver Farther they will come tonight, just remember what I said Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh We found a way, we found a way We found a way, a way We found a way
I can't believe his debut single on Blood Red vinyl limited to only 500 copies is still available. When this guys collecting his first Grammy, you'll wish you'd snagged one!
Loudest concert I’ve ever been to. It was actually painful. His first album was absolutely awesome, but I wish I’d brought earplugs with me when I saw him at 9:30. Only happened to me one other time that I can think of. Hope he’s doin well and releases music in the future. Got a lotta talent.
Got my red vinyl 45 and playing on constant repeat (the cat is *not* happy). Can't wait for the whole album! Seeing BB next week in Mpls and later in July opening for Jack White in Chicago... such a great sound.
The bassists’ mom was my “ peer evaluator” as a teacher , I credit her for being the level 3/4 ( of 5) teacher I am today . This song is beyond phenomenal and this drummer hits with a very interesting energy , please hmu if y’all in Tampa signed mediocre guitarist/ bassist
Heard it at the end of a Tower Records Documentary. Watched the credits and found it right next to George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. Fine piece of music in my humble opinion!

Absolutely one of the filthiest little pieces of rock I've ever heard. 2 minutes and 46 seconds of heaven.

One of the most underrated songs of all time
For sure. Dont forget to come back to this masterpiece once in a while.
I listen to it once a week. It’s a banger.
Where I'm going, I'll go in

All the way to your father's pillar
Make a mark for me in the stone

Saw these guys in concert and they blew me away. The pure raw energy is enormous. You can really feel the passion in their music. It's awesome.
Was sitting inside the Hard Rock Cafe and this came on first time Id ever heard this artists music and was blown away.

This is pure ROCKNROLL! Amen.
Seriously one of the coolest songs out there.
Dude. I'm very glad you're coming Mexico City soon. You're the future of music. Keep on.
Saw this guy live. Fell in love during soundcheck. Played 5 minutes of feedback right at the end, loved every minute of it.
One of the best songs of the last 20 years!
Damn, this is great Rock here. Benjamin and his band will do great in the future. Glad to hear young guys playing Rock. I'm 14 but I hate rap and pop, Metal and Rock all the way.

Amazing! Total BADASS with a nod to Chuck Berry, I see what he did there.
I stumbled across this song, i like it a lot!!!!
Chuck, Jimi, Benjamin :)
Ben's style reminds me of Robert Johnson too :)
Where I'm going, I'm going
Where I'm going, I never know
Into the fire I thought you upon me lover
When I cried you didn't die ever in my heart
Try to pass test the same
I try to break it with no shame
Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh
Exhale her or breathe in and return to center
Fuck it up on a five-year bender
I can know that just I'll never leave her
Please won't be the same
Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh
We found a way, we found a way
We found a way, a way
We found a way
What she's knowing, I'm knowing
What she's knowing I'll never know
Turn it all
Going now across the mighty river
All the way for the last pillar
Make a mark for me in the snow and
Weeds above the bar
Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh
Let's go down
Nuff talk with a violent shiver
Talk fast you always deliver
Farther they will come tonight, just remember what I said
Oooh ooh ooh ooooh ooh
We found a way, we found a way
We found a way, a way
We found a way
Those lyrics are wrong.
Fuck it up on a five-year bender..................
*Violent Shiver captured me from the first chord to the last strum*

Loudest concert I’ve ever been to. It was actually painful. His first album was absolutely awesome, but I wish I’d brought earplugs with me when I saw him at 9:30. Only happened to me one other time that I can think of.

Hey methinks I saw the Circle Bar in New Orleans at the very end there. Great tune.
Awesome Benjamin! Hope to see you tonight @ The Mohawk!
Has lots of rough edges which is nice....most music today takes 150K to record and still lacks the power of this simple riff.
Great to see new talent, love this so much.
anyone else hear it as a union of 50s with a dash of 80s punk ?
Raw Rock N' Roll
Letterman said it best last night.....OH MY GOD!!!
Benjamin Booker has just put in a quality performance on Later Live with Jools Holland, I'm now a fan.....
Got my red vinyl 45 and playing on constant repeat (the cat is *not* happy). Can't wait for the whole album! Seeing BB next week in Mpls and later in July opening for Jack White in Chicago... such a great sound.

These guys opened for Jack White in Pittsburgh and they were awesome! It's sort of like Chuck Berry but in modern, alternative awesomeness style ;)
