Yo...... I'm just thinking the exact same thing today January 8th 2024 I'm like let me look up snowfall outtakes real quick. Knowing he's got a British accent is mind blowing.. but that's skill to pull off an American accent like that learning a new language is one thing but mastering an accent that's dope...
@@RoyHobbs-hk8cf what amazes me the most is if you watch other shows led by a British man doing an American accent you can hear the British shine through.. it happened with Jax Teller a lot and Rick Grimes did it sometimes too.. I didn't notice damson idris do it once the entire show
Damson Idris is so talented. I was so blown away by his phenomenal performance as Franklin Saint. I hope to see more of this young man in the future. I am a fan.
That’s never what happens in real life There’s only three scenarios you get caught and you spend the rest of your life in a cell You die by the gun Or you become addicted to drugs and die There is no happy ending your living in a fantasy tbh the whole show is so unrealistic
@@bioshock9998 I don’t live in the hood but I do live in a town that has a very high crime rate Most dudes who are that far in they don’t make it out however I think snowfall is set 1980s so you probably could get away with that stuff
@@shazebahmed0704 … you would be surprised on how many people get away with stuff in the modern day. Gangs and criminals adapt with forensic tech and laundering laws. I
That final scene was unexpected for me because I was hoping Franklin got his money and flew his gf & baby away from LA to start a new life. I hated seeing Franklin this way but he did say he was free and there is no better way to be. Damson Idris is the best in the industry and I wish him all the best♥️
Seriously? I didn't see a happy ending at all for Franklin. Not surprised about the gf. Teddy was not giving up that money. Plus, it has to be reality. You're describing a fairy tell. There's no way it was going to be a happy ending
I cried because that was real shyt!!! I grew up in Detroit in the 80’s so I have seen this happen. Ppl may have been mad but it was what really happens. Back then, U only leave the game 1 of 3 ways, jail, death or addiction.
Same here. It hit way to close to home. If you’ve ever had that “I used to look up to you” moment with a crackhead, then you already knew where this show was headed. Especially being set in the 80’s
Such a talented actor. The way he was emotional that last scene and I was trying not to cry in the last scene is crazy. I haven’t cried from a live action film like that probably since endgame
I was actually happy for Franky at the end. He didn’t have to look over his shoulder or watch his back anymore (unlike Louie). He didn’t have to worry about being betrayed anymore. He had a genuine smile and laugh. He found peace in his mind and body. I wish his mom would’ve told him exactly how Teddy was the one to follow them to Mexico. If she would’ve called Franky the second it happened, I think he would’ve been able to plan ahead. 73 million stolen would make me go ham too
What makes it so powerful is that this is based on a TRUE STORY.. and in real life, this is how it ends.. no fancy island scenes with beaches and beautiful views… sad destroyed and living in the life you create for yourself… Damson did an excellent job but this is so powerful because you can FEEL this…. It’s not just tv show from some guy’s imagination
Powerful scene. I haven't even seen the show, and seeing YOUR PERFORMANCE in that scene specifically, broke my heart! I had to find the show immediately after. That was some REAL isht bro. Outstanding
If there is one thing that I admire the British for at the moment, it is certainly their acting talent. The world class performances that they are able to deliver as first generation immigrants for some of them (I’m thinking of Idriss, Boyega and Kaluya) give a good idea of the quality of the training available in that country. That obviously expands to all the staple names such as Anthony Hopkins and many more.
I wonder if Damson got the inspiration from when his mum wanted to attend prep school in Leeds because he wanted to become a barrister but he wanted to study theater in Oxford so it must've been a conundrum.
Half the age of Bryan Cranston and gets half the recognition he does for his brilliant performance. So does snowfall in general tbh. Snowfall ain't perfect and has silly moments but we also pretending that walter didn't activate a makeshift sub machine gun contraption from the back of his car in the finale.
All I have to say is this. Louie is the reason for absolutely everything. From start to finish. I don't care about any other opinions but this. If we were all watching the same thing youshould know this much but I think I can kind of differ a bit more vs those that watched it one episode per week while I binged all 6 seasons.
Yeah but if Louie hadn't put Franklin on, he was going to go somewhere else. I think Louie wanted to keep an eye on her nephew but at the same time wanted a peace of the pie! I binged too!!! lol
I'm just amazed that they can find European actors to portray American characters..... And can't find good American actors to portray American characters..... It's just like that Key & Peele skit..... They got me with Idris Elba from The wire
Seeing him talk irl is mind boggling
Right
The fuck are you talking about you see him irl on the show
Like how tf is he not american I have been duped

That last episode had me in tears at the end 😢
It was definitely a big shock to see how Franklin ended up. Really, how everyone ended up. But to see Leon grow and turn his life around was awesome!

I just watched all 6 in 3 days, little sleep. Where are the Emmy’s ?????
💯 this young man definitely deserved it. Emmy's don't want to recognize real s***. Rather it be in the hood or trailer park. It's totally ignored
Between working and SLEEP lol, It took me two weeks to watch all 6 seasons

He had plenty of chances to walk away from the Game, but his Greed kept puling him back. His gf didn't surprise me at all.
I almost cried 😢,,I didn't see that coming 😢
I just started watching snowfall a couple months ago and just finished it. This dude is a next level talent along with his cast members.

Finished this show in a week just sad how it ended
Damson character in snowfall: 🤬😡
Damson in real life: 🙂
I’m been watching this series all over again ❤because it’s about life and the choices that people make.
He did his thing in Snowfall. One of my fav shows
I will always love Franklin Saint!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏EPIC PERFORMANCE!!!!!!….BRILLIANT ACTING PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!
It was emotional for us too 😭
Amazing scene!!❤ loved Snowfall!!
They did ‘‘em too dirty 😢
Had to. Too many people glorify that life. I felt the same way when they did what they did to Omar (Michael K Williams) in the Wire.

I loved the movie actresses and actors #Snowfall 🎥 ♥️💯💯💯
He killed this role he deserves an Oscar or something,
