Idk if you still look through comments for song ideas, but there's a band I came across called Murkwood, and their song "Violent Sleep" is a song I cannot get out of my head. I think it's a song that you would love, very Architects "All Our Gods...." sounding. Whether you make a reaction video or not doesn't matter to much to me as I have no ties to the band, but I hope you check it out! For such an unknown band (171 listeners on Spotify) it really is an absolute banger 🤟 stay sweet my dude, let me know what you think if you give it a listen!
Surprised but not surprised Reddit is hating on this. This is the first song I’ve heard from them that’s got my attention. What can I say. I love a good hook.🤷 It’s like northlane meets thrown to me
I'm sorta on the opposite side about the chorus, feel like it majorly carried the song. The trap/electronic sections were really interesting and a cool development in their sound. I just wish Nick didn't rehash and overuse the riffs from Doomswitch which was out over a year ago, the pew pew lasers from Alex are getting a little bit overused as well, worked nicely in the odd songs but it doesn't need to be nearly all of them :/. Maybe contextually on the album it might hit better, the breakdown didn't do too much for me either, very simplistic (isn't always bad) but again, felt like it lacked creativity. Definitely the least favourite single so far but shall wait for what the album holds. Separately also feel like they're missing that narrative/storytelling feel they had in their older albums so would be nice to see that come back into it possibly.
Is it just me or are Sean’s harsh vocals getting better. His long screams sound so powerful on this track
From what I found out this song is about screen addiction and the mental health problems that are caused by the addiction

I can't help but point this out: I love how they layered a reversed clap with reverb on the snare drum. Really helps with the bounce
I dislike how much the guitars get pushed back in the mix during the chorus.
Avenged Sevenfold's 4th album was self titled as well.
I really like their new techy sound overall. Can't wait for the album to debut.

I feel like MtS and ERRA are making the finest contemporary metalcore. Dynamic, textured, groovy. Always exciting and memorable.

I disagree, I thought the chorus had a lot of emotion in it , I also thought it transitioned well.
