    DETAILS ABOUT PRAJNAPARAMITA PRACTICES
This practice of Prajnaparamita ("Perfection of Wisdom" from Sanskrit) belongs to the highest level of tantra - anuttara yoga tantra. It was taught in the Vajrapanjara tantra which is a Yogini or Dakini Tantra, and is said to be an explanatory tantra of the Hevajra Tantra. These special instructions and practice have come down through the great Indian scholars by the name of Vajrasanapada (both Elder and Junior), as well as Mahasiddha Virupa. It was brought to Tibet by the second Sakya Trizin - Bari Lotsawa. Later this practice was included into the collection of sadhanas by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo - the founder of non-sectarian Rime movement in Tibet.

    SAMAYA
Receiving the Prajnaparamita empowerment doesn't require daily sadhana practice (although everyone interested may practice the related mantra or sadhana which will be shared in Zoom chat). As it will be said in the empowerment prayers (which will be sent to all registered by email), the empowerment commitment includes directing one's mind towards the Buddhist Refuge, bodhichitta, practicing six paramitas, bodhisattva vows, Vajrayana vows and the right view (which includes understanding emptiness). Since that is the highest tantra, during the empowerment prayers 14 root Vajrayana vows will be taken. Explanation of the 14 vows is published here: • Explanation of the 14 ...
