When you opened the box, i fully expected you to go: the set cost €300 or $, it has 2 pieces, and a big booklet
😂 it would be very funny
The automatic processing of the scans is getting better and better these days. No more sitting for hours cleaning and editing to make the scans usable.
I feel like your approach to these sponsored videos are really cool! They tickle the same part of the brain as your usual videos but with something extra that wouldn't be included otherwise. But overall they're just as interesting. Anyway, just wanted to say I appreciate that :D
Thanks, glad you like them!
Oh you, you, you.... I have bought more Lego kits because of you (that makes me very happy); and now a 3D printer and a 3D scanner. Your videos are... expensive... fun... oh - no they're just plain awesome. I do love your approach to reviewing and describing things. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
I Think Soon balazs will dstart his own block company to rival lego with all of the 3d printers and experience he has😂

this video just proves how hard it is for LEGO to make dual molded minifigs.
Cloned sheep, made me think of an alternative Philip Dick novel, Do Lego sheep dream of Duplo wolves?
This is crazy good for a 3D scanner, thanks for testing it! I would be interested in seeing how good it can scan people though, with the hair and slight movements.
Clone a sheep.... already seen that in a scientist paper LOL
fyi this is a rebranded Einscan 3D scanner. They're great for the money, but do keep in mind the software is extremely buggy and not every update they push makes things better. I've also had my einscan just completely brick, and it took about 2 months for the RMA procedure to replace it for me. All that being said, considering even a similar quality 3D scanner was $10k 5 years ago, I'm still happy.
Imagine if you scanned the Jango Fett figure and made your own clone army
I think the clutch power problems with the animals could be fixed by combining the scan with a more accurate model of the stud
Try them on the speed champions wheels or smaller technic sets since they’re smaller
next, i got a letter from Lego Lawyers
Why not simply use the 3D models from LEGO's building instruction app? They can be exported to a CAD program end printed directly. The ones in Studio are mere simplifications of these models in ldraw format done by dedicated users on the forum.
Please move the scanner around instead of the object. The handheld scanner has an accelerometer and a gyroskope to help place itself in 3D. When you move the object instead of the scanner it has to rely only on the tracking dots!
I tried that, but with the thick and somewhat rigid cable connected to the laptop it was not very convenient
@@RacingBrick Yeah, not a super design decision on their part 😅
Awesome! What would happen if you tried to clone an entire set as a whole?
Depends on the set and its size. For a lot of sets this wouldn't work very well because of moving parts or interiors with poor visibility.
Hi, I can’t seem to find the link for the markers. Great video thanks
I linked the video where I found them - th-cam.com/video/fI6IbvSyLOE/w-d-xo.html

Can u give me the file for the goat pls?
Is this more powerful than the iPhone LiDAR?
It gives you more detailed objects for sure
bro could have got twice views if he cloned lego GOAT
Watch the video :)
You didn't watch 3 minutes into a 6 and a half minute video....?
Thx for the Answer 😊
