Gail I love this herringbone bracelet, I cannot wait to make it, it's beautiful! I'm going to make the double too, It's my favorite! I've had severe rheumatoid arthritis since 21yrs.old. over 30 yrs. I have the deformities, so if I can do this, anybody can. I love to bead, and your bracelets look easy and they look like they work up quickly. Which I love. And very nice, clear and precise tutorial. Ive been making jewelry for 6yrs. But beading 2 yrs, so always love to learn new designs and techniques. Thank you for sharing. Great teaching.
Nice bracelet with easy to follow instructions. Thank you for sharing your talent and time with the rest of us. Look forward to seeing more of your tutorials.
Thanks so much, Lisette! I am very glad that you enjoy the videos -- I have fun making them. :) And yes, I do swipe his fishing line (and he has occasionally swiped mine, LOL) A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, when it comes to beading! Meanwhile, I am thinking up some more Superduo projects for videos. Thanks again!
I didn't have any megatama beads so I used 8/0 seed beads and it worked fine. This bracelet feels so good on the wrist. Very comfortable. I will be making more. Thanks!
+Pat Ware Hi Pat -- thanks so much for sharing that tip, so that others can try it as well. I'm glad that you are enjoying your bracelet. Happy Beading! :D
I really like this bracelet...so easy and pretty. I didn't have mags. that would match so I used superunos and I was surprised how nice it looks. Thank you for sharing your creativity.

Hi Gail...I love your superduo videos. You made me fall in love with them. I can't put them down. Can you make a matching ring out of superduos? I love your funny remarks, like the one about swiping your husband's fishing line, I enjoy watching your videos, you are a great teacher! Thank you again for all you do! Lisette, West Palm Beach, FL
Guess what I will be making today ? luv this bracelet ! I bought some pretty duo's recently and was wondering how I was going to use them.... Thank you ! :))
Hi Cheryl -- thanks for the kind words! The ones I used in this video are the small ones (like 3mm in size). I used the long magatamas in the double herringbone bracelet video -- you can mix and match the looks. :)
Hi Gail.....I love your videos.....just a quick question.......are those long magatama beads???? I am not sure if I could use those here so please let me know!!!! Thanks in advance and great work.....I love the superduos!!!!
Thank you for this video! I made my bracelet up to adding the magatama beads. I used round 4 mm beads, which look really nice with the bracelet I made. However, once I added a few of the beads, my bracelet started to twist. How can this be prevented?
LorLor J Hi, did you ever find out about the twisting? I've made a few bracelets with Super Duos...and sometimes I get twisting. I have not made this one yet..but plan on doing so today!
LorLor J I am so sorry, somehow I missed seeing your question! Let's see, for twisting; I think the best way would be to use beeswax on your thread. This is because the beeswax will help the thread to grip the beads, causing less sliding...which then causes less twisting. The SuperDuos are kind of slippery to work with herringbone, but I think the result is worth it.
I love this is really pretty, I am new in beading and I will like to ask you what size are the (macadomas) I dont know if I spell it right. Thank you, have a great beading.
Hi Jean -- at this time I don't have written directions, just the video. I do have a little more information on my website, but they aren't written out: www.beadedjewelrydiva.com/tutorials/double-herringbone-bracelet-with-superduo-beads-tutorial/

I've made a few bracelets with Super Duos...and sometimes I get twisting.
I have not made this one yet..but plan on doing so today!
No, Deborah. I don't believe I received a reply. I haven't looked to see if there was a reply in the comments.
I made the bracelet...I used superunos.
It looks really cool.

These are the small ones -- 3x4mm.
Please more superduo beading.
I don't have any of the magatamas, can I use something else instead?
Are there any written tutorials for this bracelet? I like to take my projects with me.
Hi Jean -- at this time I don't have written directions, just the video. I do have a little more information on my website, but they aren't written out: www.beadedjewelrydiva.com/tutorials/double-herringbone-bracelet-with-superduo-beads-tutorial/
do you have the double herringbone video? thanks
Hi Susana, I think this is the one you are looking for: th-cam.com/video/TsWLesyHCCQ/w-d-xo.html
Your tutorial says Magatama but doesn't specify Toho or Miyuki - there is a difference in size. which one do you use/suggest?
Hi Jean - these are Toho, 4x7mm. :)
+Beaded Jewelry Diva
Thank you!
How many grams of each bead did you need?
Hi! Roughly 10 g of the superduo, less than 2 grams each of the other beads. :)
