Finished my bracelet n super happy! I did 5 rows of superduos n added 15/0 seedbeads for more colour n to hide thread. Appreciate the tutorial! Learned a lot
I've been making this bracelet for a couple of years (since I watched it being made here) and it's one of my most requested pieces. Perfect for gifts AND perfect for people who tell you that they never wear a bracelet because they are bulky and get in the way of whatever they're doing - - -but they LOVE these bracelet. Made the right size, they lay comfortably on the wrist, flat, and don't flop around. With nothing sticking out or jangling around, these are great for people who (like you) are creative with their hands & don't want anything to get in the way. I even made several for Bride and Bride's maids out of crystal, clear and iridescent beads - very pretty - except instead of the 2 15o beads on each side to hide the thread, I used 5 white 11o beads on each side to add a bit of a lacy look. Thanks for this versatile & fun project!
Hi Allie,WOW! this Bracelet is » Awesome « I LOVE it so much & those buttons you use for the claps i just love them they are so Beautiful!!! I really like the colors palette you have choose for this amazing Bracelet,Gorgeous!! Thank's to share this design Allie,i really enjoy to watch this video!:-))
Thanks for the wonderful ideas, I have been conned into making these xmas gifts, the sky is the limit with colour combos. I am using 1 soft pastel, 1 matching halo & 1 Crystal ab mixed and taken randomly. How beautiful this weave is, I think it is my favourite super duo bracelet.
Worked this bracelet along with you and I found your tutorial very easy to follow, although your hands weren't in shot for the whole thing. Thank you for this beautiful pattern.
I love this project but it was doubly hard for me getting started because I am left handed, & so for me the open holes in the super duos were at the bottom. Anyway, great bracelet. Thanks😄
On the cup button I was thinking of the same idea to add the super Duo but also 15/0 seed beads to cover the thread. Do you think this will work with the 15/0 seed beads or would it be too raised?
How strong are the ends? Did you reinforce the end To make sure they wont break over time ? Beads rubbing together break on me so my closures have to be redone sometimes, i wear some often almost every day i lile this idea
Great pattern but the third row needs more explanation. Which super duo hole to go in very confusing for someone who does not know herringbone. I finally did get it.
Carla P We do not have kits, but there links to each category of supplies needed (in the description), and you can pick from hundreds of different colors that you would want to use.
I have a question on this video if you could help me? I was making this and my working string was getting small so instead of adding a new piece of string I figured I would just use my tail since I just needed to add a couple more rows to finish it. I took out the first couple of rows but when I try to add new rows it doesn't come out right. Can you do this or because it if herringbone it won't work? Do I make any sense? Thank you for any help and I love this pattern and your videos.
Not sure who Carla is, but you can add thread to a y type of project. Have you done that before? If not, first watch out "How to add thread to seed bead projects" video.
Potomac Bead Company No I don't want to add string. I want to use my tail to finish the last few rows. But I don't think that is possible because it would be backwards?
+Sapphire Rainbow As you progress on your project, you can always shorten the tail until there is nearly nothing left. Once you are almost out of thread, that is the time to add on more.
How do I connect the beginning of the stitch to the end of the stitch? Like if I want to make this into a cuff, no toggle or clasp at the end. I just want to make something you can slip on. Can someone link a tutorial on how to do this? Thanks!
you state that you used 5 inches of thread for this bracelet could you please confirm the amount needed; it would surely be appreciated as i plan to attempt making this. thank you
+louise renaud She may have mis-spoken... we always start with 1-2 arm lengths of thread, then just add on more as needed. We have a video called "how to add thread to seed bead projects" that can teach you how to do that.
D Houck It plays here, and tried it on several devices. A video not playing is always a browser/video software problem. What are you trying watching on?
Thank you. I'll try it again. Using Internet Explorer on my laptop...via TH-cam. Just tried again, but as soon as the opening picture comes on and a little bit of music, it stops at 0:14.
I was a bit frustrated by this video. Phrasing is not specific in places and skips over important parts of the pattern yet a stop bead was explained in full detail.
I made this bracelet with a Mediterranean superduo mix and it turned out beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial!
I am making this now, love it. thank you Allie
Wonderful!
Best instructions I have seen for a two hole herringbone stitch. I love it.
Yup agree

Thank u 💚 the best tutorial of herringbone

+Antoinette Marlow how many superduos do you normally need??
So easy! Great tutorial, thank you so very much!!
Took me a few tries but I finally did it thanks
That's great! :)
Just made this. Simply love it! Thanks Allie

This is great with Half Tila beads, very slinky!
I love this project but it was doubly hard for me getting started because I am left handed, & so for me the open holes in the super duos were at the bottom. Anyway, great bracelet. Thanks😄
Great tute! Very easy to follow :-) Has anyone tried Czech Mates tiles? Wonder if they would be weird... 2nd obsession after Super Duos :-D
On the cup button I was thinking of the same idea to add the super Duo but also 15/0 seed beads to cover the thread. Do you think this will work with the 15/0 seed beads or would it be too raised?
Beautiful. Can you do this with 3 superduos on a line instead of 4?
How strong are the ends? Did you reinforce the end To make sure they wont break over time ? Beads rubbing together break on me so my closures have to be redone sometimes, i wear some often almost every day i lile this idea
I agree, I did not get the end of the rows, mine was not coming out at all and I know herringbone
Great pattern but the third row needs more explanation. Which super duo hole to go in very confusing for someone who does not know herringbone. I finally did get it.
great video- are there kits available or are the supplies available for that same bracelet in the same colorway??
Thanks!!
Carla P We do not have kits, but there links to each category of supplies needed (in the description), and you can pick from hundreds of different colors that you would want to use.
please let me know when/where you used the glue. Thanks
She may have used the glue off camera and dabbed a little bit on the knots where she added thread.
Will one tube per color of super duo be enough to make a bracelet? Typical 7 inch I suppose. Thanks. =)
Yes as long as you are using at least two colors, one tube of each will be sufficient.

Hi Laura, as you work it, check the two ends together so that the number of rows allows them to match up, then you zip up the two ends.

I love the bracelet and pattern but my thread is really showing and im pulling as tight as i can could it be the beads or what ive tried four times
What kind of beads and thread are you using?
I was wildfire .006 ,then tried SoNo and then last i tried fire line I'm using beads that the bracelet calls for
Take a picture of your project and post it on our Facebook page and we can take a look and see if we can spot anything.
Sorry but Dana that's boring
Would it work with 2-hole crescents?
+Holly Kurzman not sure we haven't tried it
Help - how do you add thread to this project - thanks

Try a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome? Internet explorer isn't the best.
Are there written directions for this ?? I don't have a computer at home and probably shouldn't bring my beads to the library to watch this.
Not currently but we will add them to our queue for PDF patterns.
will twins work?
Yes, you can use pretty much any two hole bead this way.
sorry, I was so much interested in this pattern but it is absolutely impossible to play it!
+Elena Chemogina try on a different device or browser. This video works for us, so it may be issue with your computer/device/browser.
