Damn, KixStar was the icon of siege. His personality, his voicecasting, and his gameplays were top notch. Considering his last words to us were “see you tomorrow” is heartbreaking. Goes to show that every day is a blessing

I can't imagine how heart broken Interro as well as his family must be, I'm still in disbelief. Prayers going out to them, rest easy Kix.
Interro did "remember Kixstar" stream about a week ago. It's saved so anyone can go back and watch it. It's 3.5 hours and very beautiful. he just talks about memories of them together, stuff they did, Kix's mom calls in and talks for an hour. It's very touching and sad.

Started watching Kix during a really tough period in my life after my brother passed away. His content really helped me through those early stages of grief. This loss still hurts. I hope his family sees this and knows that I still think of Michael and his impact on my life and other fans life's, and I'll always remember him as I continue to grow through my grief. Gone, but not forgotten.

I fell out of love with Siege some time ago, going back a couple of years I've not kept up with it at all.

It's so heartbreaking. I can't believe that actually happened. I played r6 since the launch and its basically a game that covered a huge part of my childhood. For the time being kix was and still is one of my favorite streamers. His content and personality are extraordinary and bring pure joy to the entire r6 community. We will always remember you.

Kix became a big part of my Saturday mornings where I would binge watch Pro League. His calls were amazing and his chemistry with Interro was second to none.

RB6 was my intro into esports. I loved playing the game, watching other play at a pro level was so interesting to me. But no sport/esport is the same without a great caster. Without Michael I probably wouldn’t have found too much interest in watching siege competitively. Hearing his calls, the emotion, the excitement in his voice was what kept me around. Paired with Parker, it was a dream duo. Esports will never be the same. Rest easy Michael, we will so dearly miss you.
You watch him for years and listening to him commenting just makes matches so much more enjoyable, heart aches not being able to see him commentating with his one of a kind vibe, RIP Kix :( awarded commentator for a reason

There aren't even words to describe how much of a loss this is for the whole Siege community. KiX has been a pillar of this community for years now, with him and interro being the most well known casting duo in the pro scene and their chemistry being on a whole other level. The Siege Pro League will never feel the same again without him.
I can't imagine what his family, interro and all of the other people that knew him on a personal level are feeling right now because if he can have such a big impact on a community through a screen or by commentating, then I can't even begin to imagine his impact on people that he knew personally.

I was first introduced to Kix in year 1 season 1 pro league. At that time he was EASILY one of the best in the pro scene. I most remember him for his aggressive ash plays and insane fragging ability, he really was a man of many talents
He was the main reason for me to start watching competitive siege, his energy and joy and always boosted my mood.He brought so much to this community,a true pioneer, truly miss him.Thanks for the memories. Rest easy, legends never die.
I never thought I would get so attached to someone who I did only ever say as pixels on a screen but I was wrong. My only regret is that I didn’t get to see you in person as something else. You leave behind a legacy that has had an impact on so many people. And have changed so many people for the better. You embodied so many qualities that really made you an amazing person. He was the obny twitch streamer I subbed to more than just once. I wish I watched more of his streams cause he seemed like a chill funny dude, but I am glad I've watched. I enjoyed it every single one.
Even after a week, it's hard to believe he is gone forever. Everytime I look at siege, I just remember him.

I’ve been keeping up and avidly watching Esports for about 10 years now (from CS, Smash, Overwatch, Siege, Halo, Valorant…) and Kix was by far the best caster I’ve ever seen. His on-the-spot knowledge, infinite energy, wittiness, clarity and wording was unmatched. Even better than Sadokist, Quickshot and even Tastosis.
I'm just crying and laughing here at the same time.. Love KiX! Thank you for all the laughs, expressions and everything else you brought to Siege community!

I grew up watching him when I was in 9th grade. I remember his “fastest ace” video where he killed 5 people with ash in plane popping in my recommendation. I remember being so happy to see one of my favorite R6 players alongside macie jay and matimi0 making it to the pro league casting, hell I watched it mainly because of him, he was the only guy who knew what was actually going on in the match and didn’t get you confused for a second when he was casting. I remember coming home during high school, watching his videos and getting hyped to play the game.
Now I’m in college and watching this video made my heart break.

Unbelievable. Truly heartbroken. Articulated the moments in a game so beautifully, and undoubtedly will be missed. Some of my favorite moments are listening to his call to intense gut wrenching games, it was his ability to articulate perfectly all the important moments in a round that made his calls so monumental and awe inspiring. A true legend to not just rainbow but to all casters in every esport and sport. A legend in all senses of the word. Love you and you will be missed
KiX was such a great person. I always looked up to him while playing r6 from year 1 till now. This really makes me sad...
I remember seeing his 8 second ace when it happened. at the time I was in silver so I was in awe that someone was able to do that. it was what got me into the esports scene for siege because I wanted to see more of that sort of stuff.
KixStar's energy around casting R6 tournaments/matches is one of the biggest factors that kept me coming back to watch Pro League. When someone is so passionate about something, it can be contagious and make others be passionate about the same thing. I believe that KixStar helped bring the competitive R6 scene to what it is today with that passion. The R6 community will never forget you KixStar, thank you for sharing just one of your passions with us; the R6 community.

Oh man, it's been year and so but still every single time i watch anything related to Kix i can't stop with my tears...
Really shows how much he hyped up the events. The gameplay was fun to watch but him yelling and making every second a nail biting moment literally made the events as exciting as they were.
this came up on my recommended today, 1 year since his passing. i wish i got into seige when he was casting. RIP
