- We wanted to honor KiX's memory by putting together all the heartfelt interviews we got from talents, players and coaches last week on the last Stage 3 playday of the #R6NAL.

KiX will never be forgotten, it was impossible to not like him. I’ve loved his casting, gameplay, late night streams on map strats and his amazing personality. Rest In Peace Michael.

Man was the only reason I could watch PL, His colour commentary is the most entertaining, engaging and inspiring that exists in the Professional gaming scene. Thanks for everything KiX.

Same I managed to watch all of the sixth inventsional with G2 VS empire because of his commentating. I always loved how hype he got for the game and how much he loved it... sad that I'll never be able to meet him he was a great person. 💔💔💔

@Daniel Foodist Man Mate you’re on here talking about someone widely known not only in the R6 community but the entire Esports community, while no one knows who the fuck you are. You upload vids that look like they were made in 2012 and you have 67 subscribers. You’re an absolute joke mate. If you put more effort into life than what you do trolling and hating on others, you’d be as successful as KIX was. Instead you live your miserable life behind a keyboard because at the end of the day it’s the only way you can say these things without getting punched in the mouth for it.
This serves as an example to edure every little moment you have with friends, family and ultimately, loved ones. One minute they may be here, next minute they could be gone -- cherish the time they have on this Earth, spend every moment with the people that matter to you because everything can vanish into memories in the blink of an eye.

Literally the voice of Seige. I remember back when R6 had limited streamers and youtubers, almost limited to Serenity17, MacieJay and Kix...Kix was the god that people would talk about. It was his clips you'd search for. His casting was so honest. His voice so calming for those who used R6 as an escape. The R6 community has lost the arms that held it together. RIP Kix 🙏

KiX is up there somewhere calling games and doing what he loves. Having played R6 since day 1, I watched as much pro play as I could and I loved when KiX was casting, I learned a lot from watching pro league and that's mainly due to KiX reading the strats and explaining them so well. R.I.P KiX.

I still cry seeing all these tributes to KiX... I've never met him, but he was the one who got me heavy into Siege... he was definitely an amazing human being. Rest in peace, legend. 💜😞

I remember the time when the map Tower came out and he was streaming a strat about it. And when some of us in the chat would ask him to watch his old clips of when r6 first came out and he would watch them then laugh with us. I even asked him a question about should there be another shield character and he answered my questions. He will be missed heavy.♥

It's been almost a month and it still feels unreal, I've always wanted to meet him and thank him for how much he has done for the community and even in his streams he was so helpful and nice. You will be missed dearly kiX. RIP to the best caster that will ever exist.

Played r6 when it came out for 3 years. Stopped playing r6 2 years ago but whag made me continue watching pro league was KiX. He is the best game caster in esports bar none. Rest In love, KiX. You will never be forgotten.

Rocked both my girls to sleep during his casts and as I watched them over the years. My 2 year old grew to really enjoy his voice and seeing him. A real loss for sure, rest in true peace.

Rip kix. Hands down one of the best pro scene commentators ive watched. It was explained well he really sucked you into the matches and made you want to watch more.
I keep coming back to rainbow after 4-5 years of playing it. Something about this game and the skill that it takes. I would always watch KixStar for strats and I was such in awe when I would see him play. When he started commentating it made the competitive scene more entertaining. It really makes me sad that it was so unexpected 😔 RIP to the legend and goat ❤️

KiX has quite literally been a pillar of the Rainbow Six Esports and its impossible to imagine R6 without him. His impact on the game has been nothing short of monumental. there are people who create content, there are legendary pro players but what Kix was to the R6 community, it cannot be described. He gave life to the beautiful game through his words and aged with it. Thank You for everything Michael. Rest in Peace.

The first time that I ever saw anything Rainbow related was some TSM match in an invitational. I didn't think id like it but KIX's enthusiasm really drew me in and got me into it. Ill miss watching his streams and casting like hell and I don't know what siege would be without him. RIP man.

Kix is probably THE REASON I have played this game for the past 5 years. Watching him cast taught me how to be a better player. His enthusiasm for the game will never be matched. He is arguably the voice of siege. Rest In Piece to a legend.

Some people lives a long life searching for a meaning. Some just past us like a shooting star and Kixstar is one of those of kind of people.. He was at his brightest when he's casting.. I havent played a single minute but love watching his cast.. I feel hyped everytime.. Sad to see him gone but he will never be forgotten.. :(

I was going through a rough patch back in 2020 when I first got into watching the Pro League SI matches. I would only watch the matches that Kix was commentating over because he brought such great energy to the room. I never got to tune into his streams or watch his videos but I loved his commentary and I have good memories watching those matches with him talking over.
It broke my heart to see that he passed because he (unknowingly) helped me escape for a bit, which I really needed. I’m sure he helped many others in the same way. He is irreplaceable and I hope his family and friends can heal. May he rest in peace.

I think I was like level 190 in rainbow when I first saw kix commentating and my god loved what he did as a player as a fan of rainbow a big, kix made me love rainbow again and to not stop playing. I started watching the pro leagues because of him if he wasn’t commentating than I won’t watch it because he was my favorite he talked fast but as a player you knew what he was saying and his jokes his energy he gave every time he commentated the games made me feel like I was there made me appreciate the game him all of it. Intero and kix were my favorite duo on screen. I started playing since season 3 year 2 pretty late but he made me love it so much more and hopefully Iknow it’s a long shot Ubisoft should something in the game for Michael or something because he is a beloved man by the community please!

You leave behind a legacy that has had an impact on so many people. And have changed so many people for the better. You embodied so many qualities that really made you an amazing person.
