@@brandonlongdikjones8117 Ok, medical student here from Europe. Your statement is dangerous and wrong. Do you actually know what PTSD is? PTSD isn’t about how easy it is to get, it’s about how your brain processes trauma.Trauma doesn’t discriminate. PTSD is not just “feeling upset” after a traumatic experience. It’s a complex and persistent condition that involves the brain’s response to extreme stress. Some common causes of PTSD include natural disasters, combat, serious accidents, physical or sexual assault, childhood abuse, or witnessing violence. Whether you’re a soldier witnessing combat, a survivor of sexual abuse, someone who’s been in a car crash, or even a person who's lost a loved one tragically, PTSD can affect anyone. The severity and impact of trauma differ for each individual. It’s not about who you are but about how you experience and process a traumatic event. PTSD is a serious mental health issue that doesn’t belong to any one group of people. It can be triggered by any event that overwhelms the mind's ability to cope, and for every person, that threshold is different. What’s more dangerous than the trauma itself is the stigma and ignorance that prevent people from getting the help they need.

Definitely dont take care of our people.. my neighbor/ friend since grade school did two tours in the middle east AFTER the Haitian relief effort, he was Infantryman with US Marines, he was so depressed and NOT proud of what he had to do in the middle east, he made it sound like their main objective was to take over poppy fields for the US government, take em over , set up perimeter and hold it down. THEN comes home to a opiate epidemic that our government started, to friends that are physically dependant on pain killers, family members and friends dead from overdoses, all the drug deals going on right in the open at any gas station or stores parking lot you go to, he felt like he contributed to it.. He also had PTSD, I think, we worked together and he even stayed with me when he first got back and he would randomly start throwing up, like anytime of EVERY DAY, he wouldn't sleep unless I was awake, when I slept he'd stay awake, he always kept a gun on his hip, always kept a loaded Combat Mossberg shotgun in which ever vehicle he was driving, he never slept without his boots on. It was just weird like he was paranoid, like someone might come for him ... What's even more weird is, out of his 10 or 12 man group, more than half of them committed / we'll day took themselves out before he finally Blew his own dome piece off..😢 really sketchy, really sad. I went to grade school with this him, we were neighbors back then and then again later in life as adults, before that we played soccer together and even ended up going to highschool together for one year. I knew this kid, and when he came home from thhe middle east he was just very different, every serious , and almost like he enjoyed nothing anymore, it was really sad, some nights I would stay up just so that he could sleep, because he would NOT sleep unless I was awake, like he was worried about something or someone coming for him, or us. IDK, but he felt like he contributed to this opiate epidemic and was NOT proud of what he did. I did it super suspicious that he had so many friends from the Marines that took themselves out all within the first year of coming home, and then, one day I got a call from his sister saying he's gone. I couldn't believe it because we were just together the day before and I spoke to him that morning. Really sad. He left me his Marine jacket with his name on it, along with his pants and even a couple Uniform jackets that belonged to his comrades that passed away...

As a licensed professional counselor, why are journalists diagnosing him with PTSD? Did he say that to her, no, so why are we giving an explanation when he not here?
He put so many others at risk. Why couldn't he have just stayed home and done this. A soldier is supposed to protect the innocent, he chose to put them at risk of death. What was his 'message' supposed to be? Do we now need to distrust our soldiers now? Could they crack at any moment and become a threat to our children just walking down a street? This was messed up.

I find it hard to believe simply with the evidence shared by Law Enforcement. How can the whole interior of the truck be destroyed buy yet his ID's survived.....
Given that the truck can't drive anywhere on its own (it requires an active driver with their hands on the wheel, or else autopilot shuts down completely), and that there's surveillance video of him driving around town, including going to the Trump entrance once, leaving, driving around some more, then sitting in a parking lot for a while, before going back a second time, the answer is no, the truck didn't drive there on its own.

I was in the Army. I've seen and heard LOTS of stuff. But, I still think there is a BIG chance that all of this was staged, INCLUDING this video. Any video can be edited, cut, put in different order and so on. The "texting" can easily just be put in the TV screen, as if it's real. We just don't know for sure. And despite someone being severely depressed, as I am, doesn't automatically mean they'll "act out" in extreme ways. Also, there is NO mention of why it was at this location, etc. The "news" station has been GIVEN a way in which to present this. There is some kind of REASON in which it is presented in this way. No TV news is accidental anymore. There are very few, if any, "whooopsies."

Yup. And same day both soldiers made big damage.
Fort Bragg, now Fort Liberty, is home to the Airborne, Special Forces and Delta Team. These are very high-stressed units as their missions are uniquely enduring and dangerous.

Is it fair for me to say that this man , fell through the cracks . We need to do more , much more . Limit the deployments perhaps as a start ? EVERYONE has their own level of stress tolerance and of course , not just for combat . I feel so sorry for this poor man .
Still, no justification for his actions.
Until you have been through what he was, you can't judge... I'm just grateful no other lives were taken
@ Bye. Combat vet here. Purple Heart recipient. I absolutely can give my opinion. Nothing you’ve been through justifies this. Period.
It was probably a protest against the wealthiest CEO in the world, President Musk, and his Vice President, Donald Trump. We're going to be seeing more of this stuff after Luigi opened everyone's eyes.
I AGREE! BUT It seems like people have to do things like this so people open their eyes and realize our government is causing just about everything that happening that's bad in this world right now, the claim they want piece but it's not looking like it. It's the TRICKLE effect of American governments past and current actions. Americans that fight for our freedom and lose FAMILY, FRIENDS....BROTHERS...AND SISTERS, and then imagine looking at the situation through his eyes, being on the inside knowing things the rest of Americans don't have a clue about and the government is telling the public that "awww it's nothing" and in your mind you know cause your on the inside it makes you angry when you're not heard and maybe cause you know things that you're friends and family died for and it makes you self destruct
It’s very sad and heart-breaking that people experience so much pain, but also a very strange way to kill yourself. How does blowing up a cybertruck in a public space help anyone?
When a man gives his blood, sweat, tears, heart, and soul to defend the Constitution of the United States and most of everyboby in the United States just shits of over that Constitution. I feel his pain. RIP soldier.
Oh, you must mean Republicans?
Pain for this country that spends billions in foreign wars and doesn't care about the wellness of its people. Men sure men up and don't fight, better yet, help to construct, not destroy.
A war criminal that killed innocent civilians in Afghanistan and suffered severe PTSD ?
@JarJarBinkz68 Right...
What part of the constitution do foreign occupations defend?
Huh?
It is not reason why a person would kill people 😡
The saddest part about all of this, is this young lady will carry this weight until the truth really comes out
who else did he text ? tell the whole story
they won't.
They won't say, this is the narrative on media now.
Ex-girlfriend still sad over him??! Wow that's crazy and rare!
I would never cry over an ex, especially one that left me! 😡 For what they thought was a better option, no way!
It’s hard as a veteran coming back stateside to such entitled, uninformed, and disrespectful society. Americans have so many opportunities to do good and be good. Yet so many take these freedoms for granted. It’s hard… really hard to see.
Thank you for your sevice❤
Wow! So now the media is trying to frame a terrorist as some sort of fallen hero? GTFOHWTBS!!!!
Exactly!
I do not trust anything that GMA says.
Me, too. I prefex Fox Entertainment or OAN with Matt Gaetz.
@bogususer2595 Same. But even Fox is iffy sometimes. OAN is far better than Fox. But yeah.....GMA? All they do is lie.
@@bogususer2595 they suck too
@@bogususer2595 - Uh oh.
@@bogususer2595😂😂😂 the angertainment rag? 🥴
If depression and PTSD is such a silent danger then we shouldn't let soldiers become police officers. Too much risk and potential danger to the public.
Why from a rental truck and why at Trump hotel? BS
🙄
He wanted Trump to see his loyalty to him. Like the Japanese soldiers did for their Emperor.
Military members can’t always ask for help. If they have security clearances etc. these could be jeopardized. Similar with Police - Our country is opening up to Mental Health services yet minds are not wide open. Imagine loosing a career because you asked for help.
Bringing the ex girlfriend not wife wow
War is the result of adults not being able to control bad behavior and/or compromise.
War nearly always damages everyone but the people who caused the war in the first place.
yeahhhhh.....wiping without TP can make your hand stink, too.
My husband was in a unit that is elite. They are not Democrats. That should have been one of the biggest red flag lies out there. Aside from that, a hundred things just don’t add up. We can thank our wicked Gubbment and 3 letter agencies for this veterans death.
Agree!!!!
FFS It's a 2 1/2 minute piece trying to give a little insight to the 96% of Americans who have never served and don't understand why the guy everyone was thanking for his service was "depressed"
@@pmclaughlin4111Please notice the fact he was in a Tesla Cybertruck that burst into flames in front of Trump Tower. Why would he go through the trouble of having a purposefully chosen vehicle (as it was a rental) blow up there? Consider the politics of the time. I have a family members that suffer PTSD from the military but would never do this. One even supports Trump; that family member notably doesn't listen to anyone but Trump when it comes to politics anymore so that family never is missing out on the fact that Musk wants to rid the U.S. of any taxes going toward support of our troops...and Trump is allowing Musk to do as he pleases with that, along with getting at other social structures (Medicare, etc).
Liar and idiot.
Still not buying it.
It’s BS if you believe it!
What's BS please explain yes he has problems he was reaching out to her and did we have to do what's BS
@@vincentyanni6252watch the shawn ryan show.
Oh if it's a white guy it's bs
She still has his text messages after 7 years… ?
We all get depressed but u DONT KILL PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!
He didn’t, fed.
He didn't you utter buffoon.
I think he used the cyber truck because he thought it would contain the explosion. And I thought it did.
@@EmilyBoltz The dude could have easily made an explosive that could have leveled that building. Or closer to a large group of people. Its blatantly obvious that he wanted media attention from the blast. Not to use the blast as a means to attack anyone/thing.
Tell that to the health insurance corporations.
You'll being lied to
Why are women expected to solve the emotional problems of their lovers, problems that started decades before they even met them? It's not fair to give them the job of everybody's mommy.
What about the war crimes he was about to expose? This man did not kill himself
What war crimes? Are you refering to those fake emails on that silly podcast?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Depression is rampant in American society, and suicide is a tragic waste of life. That said, when someone makes the conscious choice to check out, but carefully plans to try to take out other human beings in the process, he takes the blame back onto himself. Depression is anger turned inward. Terroristic anger directed towards random innocent strangers can't be blamed solely on the government, however broken, that the now-broken soldier volunteered to serve.
Somehow this case is no checking in with REAL, TRUE, LOGIC!!
Because it's a CCCCCllllllllAAAAAA/FFFFFBBBBBBBlllllllllll operati0n!!! PSYYYY000PPPPP!!!!!!!
Head injuries will do that.... which you may have experience with...
Having PTSD says it all. Matthew wanted out, and he wanted to be done with what he was experiencing in his mind. Unless you suffer from this and from Anxiety, you will never understand what these people go through, and how hard it is to keep it together. Been there, done that, and I just want to say that I send condolences to his family and loved ones, because they were helpless in stopping him from checking out. RIP Mathew Livelsbereger.
He is not dead….. was NOT his body in that self driving vehicle……. Body was deceased prior arriving
He's one of Miller's guys, Army SF, acting Secretary of Defense from Nov 9, 2020 to Jan 20, 2024. Announced at Ft. Bragg Nov 18, 2020 SOCOM had become a unified combatant command, essentially the 6th branch of the military. Clandestine ops succeed when the truth is hidden in plain sight.
So you think he murdered someone and planted their body?
Jajajajajaja!!! You smoking to much crack!! you watch to much TV
What a terrible "news" segment… let’s hear from someone who was close to him… here’s his ex, that he didn’t contact for 2 years, until like 2 days ago
I still think something smells funny
Because he's white ?
