We are first time chicken owners. I made the same mistake with my brooder. Had to clean a lot of poop off the floor in my laundry room. Ours are finally outside in the coup. I never realized how much fun they are to watch. Definitely attached to them now!
I know this is an old video, but I’m glad I found it! I am in Atlanta too. I literally laughed out loud when the chickens froze, that was hilarious lol.
Always have the Feeder at the same height as your Chickens back that way it is almost impossible for them to kick the feed out Hanging feeders hung from a Chain work best the same with the Water keep it at the height of their Back
Thank you for the suggestion. I ended up adding another feeder after I shot the video and give them fermented feed in a trough in the morning and night.
The button pecking😆My chicks love my ankle bracelet. Peck at it all the time. They love mirrors. I hung a couple dollar mirror in our coop.

Girl, Keep them for the compost! Turn that into garden growing gold!
I used a dog crate as a brooder and when I took them outside I use a larger black heavy bowl from tractor supply
Awww. They love you! Awesome tips.

Thank you so much for the tips!
You should get them another of the square feeders so they're not squishing each other for food
