- Skyrim is an enormous place, peppered with no shortage of activities to keep the Dragonborn busy. Indeed, The Elder Scrolls 5 offers everything from Dragon hunting to wood cutting. And despite being nearly eight years old, every now and then it’s still possible to stumble upon a new thing to do in Skyrim. So today we’ll be taking a look at five more things you (probably) didn’t know you could do in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

Dragon bone armour should be intimidating too! You killed a dragon, ripped it apart to harvest bone and scale and then shaped it to fit you.
I 100% agree with you, despite my preference for Daedric.
Maybe full sets of armor related to a certain race should make them +3 friendly with you or whatever... Like... "wow, that nord really like our elven armor... He must be a good guy"
Any heavy armor set will give the bonus to intimidation.

Well, if you consider that he is a orphan and got no money and this the only thing of any value he owns its alright. Also he starts of the brotherhood questline which is one heck of a payment.
@@Jaykaayy But Aventus thinks you are part of the dark brotherhood and they usually get paid well. Also, I think he'd be able to scrape up something more valuable if he can get human bones, rare books and human flesh to perform the black sacrament.
There's also a unique dialogue with J'Zargo if you're already level 75 destruction when you join the college

Something that is a bit of a secret to me at least is:
When you are tasked by Boetiah to sacrifice a follower, you don't actually have to bring one of your followers. If you have the Dawnguard DLC and progress with the quest far enough to meet Harkon, and agree to gain the power of a Vampire Duke, you gain the Ability to enthrall pretty much any NPC, essential or non-essential, if they are non-hostile to you and you successfully pull off your vampire seduction, followed by biting them to fully subdue them to your will.
You can pretty much just use this on any random townguards or NPC you vehemetly dislike, such as Lemkil or Nazeem, and sacrifice them, succeeding in Boetiah's task AND keeping all your followers that you so love and enjoy to have.
I just decided to find a random mercenary and pay him some gold so he can be sacrificed, didn’t even have enough time to grow attached because I don’t remember his name

wearing a deadric armor is intimidating, but dragon armor, nah screw that, who cares if you killed a dragon, and then wore its dead body as the dovaking.
To be fair the Daedra are more of a lasting threat in the minds of the people since they are always around. Unlike the dragons who have been gone for centuries.
With daedric armour you ripped out the heart of a daedra and made armour and weapons with it

When finding the sigil of Dibella, you find out she’s been kidnapped by bandits from her father. Did you know that taking her back to see her father before taking her to the temple in Markarth will unlock some sweet, touching dialogue as the father sends off his daughter. 😢 Very heart warming.

Hey Nate! I don’t know if you know this little fact in Skyrim, Nenya (the Altmer Elf who serves as a steward in Falkreath) is named after Galadriel’s ring in “The Lord of the Rings”. Galadriel’s Ring was one the three rings given by Celebrimbor (who studied under Sauron the craft making of the rings which led making of the One Ring). The ring “Nenya” in Quenya-Elvish means “like water”. I just wanted to throw in a random Skyrim/LOTR fact out there 😁
Celebrimbor never "worked for" Sauron. He learned from Sauron how to forge magical rings of power, but Sauron never laid a hand on the three rings Celebrimbor made.

This could perhaps be a (probably) missed detail: Or then not, Im not sure how well known the topic is, but I accidentally found it out recently:
You know one of the hired followers Belrand from Solitude? He is a Nord warrior/mage. If you take him from Solitude to Whiterun and hang around The Bannered Mare long enough, there is a chance that he will have a bunch of dialogue/a scene together with Hulda and Saadia if she is there in your game. They will literally have a laid back conversation: I dont remember how it went exactly anymore but its funny :D
Belrand will start boasting a bit about "having big strong men around" and Hulda and Saadia will comment something like "Oh Belrand, we will tell if we see any strong men ;)" like theres not one around - they have a proper laugh out loud together. Belrand proceeds to get slightly offended since his masculinity got invalidated xD and calls the tavern ladies "harpies", then they just go "Oh come one Belrand dont get mad bro!"
Belrand seems to also sometimes casually comment the Bannered Mare if you're inside, or tell you that he's going to get mead from Hulda. And not sure if this is rare, but Belrand is also commenting about Dragonborn when he's absorbing dragon souls. I haven heard all followers actually do that or acknowledge the soul absorbing so much.
He looks like having connections to Whiterun even tho he resides in Solitude! Made me feel so immersive.Specially when the charactes actually called him by his name, they know who he is.
I had it with Valdimar and Goldir. I think it can be triggered by anyone with that voice type.

I strangely found Angenor dead in an alleyway of the Gray Area (I think that’s what they call it?). I have no idea the cause, but maybe it connects to his insults towards the Dark Elf earlier. (Also, no one around including guards are even slightly concerned about his clearly dead body just lying on the steps)

Honestly, I love Khajits, their personalities and the way they talk is absolutely wholesome and unnerving, especially J'zargo with his over-proudnes and over-confidence. Absolutely best companion in the game
I'm not sure if this has been covered or not but another thing you can do is revive Cicero using the dead thrall spell after you kill him in the Dark Brotherhood quest line. He has a lot of funny dialogue and even dances. I would recommend if your ever bored. And he does not turn to ash if he dies again since he's essential NPC.

Squatters were actually supposed to be a feature of the game, the mod Cutting Room Floor adds a squatter to Breezehome after you buy it, you just come home to find some weirdo inside claiming it's his house.
You have to go back to Proventus and have him bring guards to kick out the squatter.
If you're a vampire when you use those Scrolls they really Jack you up
Make sure when you use the fire scrolls, to leave your companion behind or they will turn hostile thinking that you’re attacking them. That’s happened to me a couple times. (For anyone who doesn’t know this).

I went into a city (Morthall) wearing the dark brotherhood armour and a guard said "Pssst. I know who you are. Hail Sithis."
They do that even if you aren't wearing the armour, you just have to be a member of the dark brotherhood.

I don't know if you've already covered this, but not far from Shor's Stone there's a wolf trapped inside a cage in the woods. If you open the door, two trappers will show up and attack you. If the wolf survives, it WON'T be hostile toward you, at least it's never been for me.
If you shout at the greybeards immediately upon entering High Hrothgar for the first time (i.e. before they have a chance to talk to you) you unlock some unique dialogue.
Little known fact, I still play Skyrim regularly even tho I got it when it first came out

Daedric Armor actually intimidating people makes me so happy! I mean, you need _four daedra hearts_ just to make a single set, plus all the ebony, so any adventurer who has a set has to be either tough enough to beat four deadra, or tough enough to beat someone who did. I mean, I guess you could buy it, but that kind of money is _not_ easy to get, and for an adventurer, that's going to mean a _lot_ of _very_ successful battles. Really, something like that should be intimidating even if it looks stupid!

I actually killed j'zargo the first time i met him...on my serious playthrough and now as archmage of the college i used a certain spell to make him an undead servant just to use unrelenting force(fus ro dah!!) To turn him to ash...

The other day I was playing and wearing full dedric armor. I came across a Vigilant of Stendar and decided to chat with him. He angrily told me "the blessings of Stendar do not extend to daedra worshipers" a cool detail I thought

On the boat The Katariah (during the DB quest to kill the Emperor) there is a sword lodged on the tip of the bowsprit. It's got some cool stats! Check it out! It can be tricky getting onto the top of the bowsprit, though, so good luck!

In Ravenscar Hollow, a hagraven den on the north coast, you can come across a bandit trapped in a cage. He asks you to let him out, and that if you do, he'll help you kill the hagravens. If you, however, kill the hagravens first, then he'll promise to show you where they hide their treasures, instead.
I just thought that was interesting, please like so that Nate can see this.

Did you know?
If you finish the horn of jurgen windcaller mission, the graybeards took the horn. However if you don't have the horn, you can still return it to jurgen's tomb.
If you do that you will absorb a dragon soul from the tomb.

@@puggle4174 im not really good at explaining things. If you finish the quest just go back to ustengrav and activate the tomb. The horn will appear in the hand, and the dragonborn will absorb a dragon soul.(same animations like when you kill a dragon)
