    The only thing I don't like videos like this is because I want to buy new tools just to try them! Drinking beer watching this.

    I just got this jigsaw and I love it! Way easier to use than my Makita.

      I don’t often do projects that require “finesse” but this little saw made it a lot easier to produce a good looking project. Can’t see a reason I would ever use my Ryobi again. Thanks for watching!

    My favorite part is that the batteries have the usb port excellent addition from skil

      I agree! I use them to power my small studio lights. Every battery is a power source, it’s pretty awesome if you have a bunch of them. Thanks for watching!

    The skil line has just come to Norway and I've bought my first set. Also planning to get the 2x4amp lawnmower and other tools for home use.

    This is the one Skil tool that makes me want to switch over. It is nice and compact and very easy to maneuver. It felt very good in the hand.

    I was just looking at this saw on Amazon this morning. I have a few Skil 12v tools (drill driver for pocket holes/dowels, 5 1/2 circ saw attached to the base plate for kreg accucut). My main big boy cordless tools are metabo hpt 36v, their jigsaw is awesome, but I have the same problem with maneuvering around with fine detail, and since I already have 4ah batteries in Skil 12v, that jigsaw caught my eye. I'm most likely going to stop procrastinating and get it, I'd buy it right now immediately if I could get it tool only I already have batteries and a charger. The extra money has me BS'ing about it lmao

      I think you’ll be shocked how much easier detail work is with smaller saw. I do agree I wish they did tool only. I have a hilarious amount of Skil batteries already. Thanks for watching!

    I'm really thinking of switching to the skil line or at least certain tools like the jig saw. Thanks for the review

      I’ve continued to use all the Skil tools I’ve reviewed so far and I’ll tell you I still have no complaints. This jigsaw is seriously good though and I’m sure I’ll be using it for years to come. Thanks for watching!

    Akri man. I hadn't watched for a wee while but I caught ur video on the SKIL WORM DRIVE TABLE SAW and I want one. The problem I have is they are so hard to get here in IRELAND. It's crazy to try and get a company in the US to ship to IRELAND these days.. I don't know why that is but it's close to impossible and I really want to get one of the Skil Table saws..
    This Jigsaw is awesome. Great job on the sled bro.. The scroll work was brilliantly handled by this little jigsaw.
    I've got a cheap jigsaw in my shop but I hate using it for the same reasons u said about ur hand being too high up and away from the work. I think I have used to 2X's in the past 18 months tbh and it's a shame bcos they're a very versatile tool tbf..
    Any chance u could have a word with Skil for me bro and see if they would be interested in sending one of their worm drive saws to me here in Dublin, Ireland?? I'm being a cheeky bastd asking u but I really want one of their table saws.
    A dewalt here in IRELAND is costing anywhere from nearly 800 Euros to over 1k .. It's crazy how expensive they are and I'm not paying that price for something that just ain't worth that amount of money.. I'm joking with u about asking Skil but if there was anybody u could speak to about shipping saws to Irish customers I'd be very grateful my bro.. Thanks for the great content..

      Hey Slim, I'll shoot over an email and see what Skil says. Ive heard rumors the red 10 inch Skil is available in Belgium and Slovakia. Not sure if that helpful to you or not but it's what I got. I'll let you know if there's good new from Skil. Thanks a lot for the comments!

    Thanks for the detailed video. If you had a choice, would you get this or the new m12 barrel grip? I am mostly DIY in my own home. I have about the same qty of batteries for both since I have other tools from both brands.

    auto is when it feels the blade start needing presure it kicks in definitely not for starting on a curve cut.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The auto speed seems to change at random. Lots of forward pressure, very little, curves, straight…doesn’t seem to matter. Always starts slow and jumps to a very high speed suddenly. It’s the only thing that didn’t impress me about this saw. Easy fix though, just set your own speed. Thanks for watching!

  • @HappyHands.

    my experience with the Skil tools is , once you lose one bar, you're basically at 50%
    Looks like a variable speed trigger would be a better design

      We’ve had pretty good luck with all the battery powered tools Skil has sent so far. Both 12v and 20v. Done some testing with circ saws and all have come close to Skils claims or exceeded them. Thanks for watching!

    This jigsaw is worth getting even if its the only Skil tool you get. Light and easy to use but enough power to do the job. I really wish Skil battery chargers would charge 12 or 20 volt batteries instead of having to have 2 chargers.

    • @ProjectsForAllReviews
      @ProjectsForAllReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree! I really enjoyed using this jigsaw. We’ve done quite a few Skil tools now and I’ve amassed quite the pile of chargers, I agree there too. Thanks for watching!
