How you opened this video with assessment of the pond, the conditions, and the lures you used was fantastic. I think that is what the youtube community wants to truly hear. Tell us more about water variables and techniques! Thanks Tyler.
Hey I’m a 52 year old man and I have very bad anxiety I been watching your TH-cam channel and it calms me down. Thank you for that. I live in Manhattan on the lower east side I want to know what’s the best fishing pole to use and reel because I live by the east River I can’t spend much but I have to try because I’m hoping it will calm down my anxiety like when I watch your show
I’ve dealt with anxiety before because of a bad experience I had and it was a very tough few months for me. I’m 27 and I never felt anything like that. God bless you and I know you can beat this! As far as gear I’m unsure of what species you are going for but maybe a spinning reel combo! Maybe a 2 to 3000 size spinning reel with a 6-7 ft rod. There are tons of inexpensive options out there you just have to look for them.
It is so helpful to see you roll up to a pond and hear your analysis on choice of lure + pond conditions. Very helpful for us beginners who are starting off bank fishing!
I just discovered your channel last week. You made me go buy a jig my man. I bought 3 different actually. The 1 I tried tonight that was bluegill colored with a crawdad trailer and pulled one right outside of vegetation. I love your channel, man. Keep up with the videos. Thanks for all of the advice you provide for us novices out here. I'm buying a kayak tomorrow. There are 4 millponds all within 30 minutes of me. Can't wait!
I’m constantly watching your videos I’ve been fishing since I could walk but I have learned so much more about bass fishing since I started watching your videos mainly with like Texas rig and jigs never used them because I didn’t know how to use either but I’m a thousand times better after finding you on TH-cam thanks Tyler!!
I've ready to go fishing and use a jig, it looks like such a fun lure to fish. Keep up the good work with all the videos. God loves you and your family Tyler.
I’ve been doing the same thing in Alabama going to different ponds. Throwing many things finding out what fish like. Your channel has helped me so much!!! Thank you so much!!!
Shot my “technically” first bass fishing TH-cam video the other day using a swim jig b/c of tips I learned from you. I had a successful day and definitely gained some confidence in the swim jig! Thanks for sharing these videos!
@@AUSTINGFISHING Awesome! It’s a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. I just need to get that TRF excitement when the camera is on. More videos to come for sure! Good luck!
Have you come back here yet with a frog? I fished a little as a kid with my old man. Got back into it 2 years ago and am obsessed. Watch all of your videos, and they are very helpful.
I really appreciate this 100 pond series and I've learned a ton from you! this is my 3 spring in the subdivision that we recently moved into. We have 7 stocked (catch/release) ponds here and the subdivision is 20 years old. So there are some MONSTER 20 year old Bass living in these ponds yet the largest I caught so far was a 5 pounder this past Easter. If you plan on visiting the Chicagoland area for your 100 ponds series feel free to come check out my ponds in Huntley IL.
Hi Tyler, I have been slaying fry guarders with a KVD 200 jerkbait! They can’t seem to resist the action! Caught a 5 pound female on a bed last week also with a KVD 200 jerkbait! 🎣Thanks for the great content! 🎣
Aweaome to hear your process in breaking down a pond..thats somthing i have to work on, seems I get a bait in my head to use and i force it even though somthing else would work better
I can't wait til you return to this pond! Fun video! What are the clippers you're using to cut your line? I've been using a multi tool to cut my line which works well on mono but does nothing to braid so I need some suggestions on an easy to carry tool to cut braid
I've learned that with the ones that don't eat but still react to your lure, just throw something a little bigger in there. If the frye haven't hatched yet, the female will still be cruising nearby and will come obliterate your jig.
Love the videos Tyler, my 4 boys and I have found a passion for fishing through your videos and you have taught us a lot. Where is this in flower mound? We are in the area and would love to find it.
I have a pond by me near a industry park. Owners stock with neutered buffalo, bass, bluegill, black crapie, and walleye. It's is a hidden gem...a true oasis. Frog season is the best. I've caught fish per cast. It's a perfect spot to practice technique.
Hey Tyler have you ever tried the Berkley Speed Boss as a swim jig trailer? You just measure past the skirt so the tail fins undulate through the water column by rigging it parallel to the hook shank. I’ve tried them all and this tip from Matt Stefan (MLF pro) looks the best and gets slammed by bass! 😎
Hey Tyler been watching your videos for a while now but I can’t seem to find the videos of you fishing near new York , I don’t know what baits works here in Maryland
Years of experience, and trial and error. It all comes down to having a good understanding of the forage species, water clarity, and bottom composition, and how they all affect one another.
I never had luck with jigs before but took my new kayak out last week on a small lake and got 3/4 all around 2lbs so ima try it again after church tomorrow thanks for the video brother God Bless
I love the excitement and tips on using a jig. Nothing like sight fishing. What I noticed too is the amount of litter people leave in a beautiful pond. I just don't understand leaving your trash. It doesn't enhance an area. It isn't invisible. Drink cups and Styrofoam isn't grass or Hydrilla. People that leave their trash won't want come there either if it was all ghetto trashed. I just don't get it.
