    That is awesome! The speedometer, the compartments, the seats, fenders, light, the plate, key switch...sweet!! Back in the late 60's I remember snowmobiles having Sachs and also JLO motors.

    Hi Gurra, I remember in the 80ties I saw two Monark with NSU 350 motors somewhere between Stockholm and Sundsvall at a petrol-station. You know more about them. The ILO 175 was used also for the UT. An old brand which was produced here in Stuttgart.

    That is a great little bike. Jennifer is a great name. I don't think the pillion seat would be to comfortable. :) RSM8

      ***** I talked with a neighbor who´s father had one of these, they made aftermarket parts for them, including a passenger seat with better padding lol RSMF

    That bike runs as sweet as a nut. Call her Jenny and you can be Forest. LOL
    Lucky guy getting a new bike at 16, we had to make do with an occasional ride on a Honda Cub.

    It's a 175cc? Time to add it to your intro. Looks like a great find. Makes me want to go check the classified ads. Enjoy riding JLo.

    Hello,
    We are restauring our Monark M400. Do you happen to know about the electrics in this cool bike? Or do you have wiring diagrams or anything like that?

    • @GurrasGarage
      @GurrasGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately not. But search on Google, I found this for example www.eriklinding.se/ilo-motorcykelmotorer/25-litteratur-instruktionsbocker-reservdelskataloger-mm/reservdelskat-monark-m400/

    You didn't ride or knew anyone who rode Puch back in the day? My dad told me that was pretty much all they rode back then, and Sachs too. My first moped was a Puch Dakota, wish I didn't sell it now! Always started first kick in dead cold Swedish winters, such reliable mopeds!

      Thillonoz Yep many rode Puch, there were a lot of brands back then like DBS, Mustang, Zundapp, Rex and Fram (both swedish). Cheers!

    That is a sweet looking bike! Will you do a total teardown rebuild or keep the weathered look? It sounds like the motor is in really good shape. Thanks for sharing this and good luck.
