I am having Tokio Hotel marathon rn. Getting a lot of feelings. Even crying. Back when I was a teenager, this band helped me to get through tough times. I remember falling asleep with their music playing in headphones. I had dysfunctional family, no friends and I was being bullied, but TH were one of those things that made me feel like I matter, like I have an invisible support. I listened to all these songs and I was hopeful about my future. You guys made me believe I can heal and see the world behind my wall. And this is why I am thankful, for everything.
During my teenage era I used to listen to this song when I was going through a very difficult time and it really helped me to sleep and calm my anxiety so I can say that this song and this band saved me from a lot of stuff. I'm very happy that they're being recognised by the new generation 😊

Sus párrafos enfrascan el inmenso dolor que dejó la segunda guerra mundial y ,por consiguiente, el muro de Berlín en muchas generaciones alemanas. ooh I like the Masquerade song. I actually think Humanoid is their best album as of now. It just feels so huge, and you can just feel how huge Tokio Hotel was, and how they really were at the peak of their fame at the time. Now this doesn't mean that they may not get even bigger and better from here. It's just that that feeling is SO palpable on the Humanoid album, and "Geisterfahrer" is so haunting and moving because of it.

veo esto y es que siento como todos, extraño los viejos tiempos de tokio hotel pero no solo ellos, si no mi infancia y mi adolescencia y es normal sentir melancolia porque quien no quisiera regresar a sus viejos dias donde vivias despreocupado de la vida y hasta actualmente uno ve los malos momentos que vivio de chico como algo ligero a lo que tenemos que enfrentar. First heard this song when I was 16 and now listening to this again nearing 31. Hearing this song at my age now I remember feeling so trapped (of course I was, I was 16 😂). I wanted so desperately to explore the world and go out and experience things. In our Mexican family I am the youngest child and the only girl I was pretty much restricted to only be home with the exception of school. So this song hit me hard each time I listened to it. Now at 30, I can say that I’ve seen the world behind my wall and it is indeed beautiful. 🖤

But honestly this band are so talented and authentic, especially considering the fact they released awe-inspiring albums with deeply touching songs. Me too, they helped me so much, I think they're beautiful people and they've always been wonderful to the fans!!
Loving and appreciating their music introduced me to a lot of great rock bands before them, so my music tastes expanded massively. Bill writes his own lyrics and I was inspired by that and have been song writing ever since I was twelve. Arhh there's so many things!! I loved their style used to try to my makeup the same way! I'm in the UK, so I never got to see them live but I followed them as an avid fan with the things they did and spoke about. Plus they're really lovely guys and passionate about their music and they've been together for a long time, which is hard to come by these days xx

In spite of the emo look their songs are actually optimistic. They don't "promote" dipression, on the contrary they talk about healing and fighting for a better life. In my almost 40's now I love, understand and appreciate them more than then.

ooh I like the Masquerade song. I actually think Humanoid is their best album as of now. It just feels so huge, and you can just feel how huge Tokio Hotel was, and how they really were at the peak of their fame at the time. Now this doesn't mean that they may not get even bigger and better from here. It's just that that feeling is SO palpable on the Humanoid album, and "Geisterfahrer" is so haunting and moving because of it.

First heard this song when I was 16 and now listening to this again nearing 31. Hearing this song at my age now I remember feeling so trapped (of course I was, I was 16 😂). I wanted so desperately to explore the world and go out and experience things. In our Mexican family I am the youngest child and the only girl I was pretty much restricted to only be home with the exception of school. So this song hit me hard each time I listened to it. Now at 30, I can say that I’ve seen the world behind my wall and it is indeed beautiful. 🖤

But honestly this band are so talented and authentic, especially considering the fact they released awe-inspiring albums with deeply touching songs. Loving and appreciating their music introduced me to a lot of great rock bands before them, so my music tastes expanded massively. Bill writes his own lyrics and I was inspired by that and have been song writing ever since I was twelve. Arhh there's so many things!! I loved their style used to try to my makeup the same way! I'm in the UK, so I never got to see them live but I followed them as an avid fan with the things they did and spoke about. Plus they're really lovely guys and passionate about their music and they've been together for a long time, which is hard to come by these days xx
