Today, I show you my $10,000 Leica Haul that I made in the past couple months! I recently got a hold of a Leicavit, a 50mm Summicron DR, a secret Leica camera, and a 28mm + 21mm combo. I am indifferent about the Leicavit; it's a neat tool, but takes time getting used to. Anyone can live without it though. The 50mm Summicron DR is a dark horse. It's close-focus capabilities make it a star in the lineup of 50mm lenses that Leica has to offer. The 28mm Elmarit ASPH is an absolute beauty and so is the 21mm Elmarit.

Dope video. The general hate on the m5 by leica people goes to show how many people buy the cameras just to own a cool, luxury camera. They’re all solid cameras… glass is doing the work anyways. Rather a m5 and leica lens vs m6 with voigtlander lol
The Leica M5 ROCKS!
I really enjoy using my M5. The spot metering is really accurate and makes it easy to pick out small patches of middle gray-ish tones quickly in any scene. AND, the little -/- style meter graph is a great way to judge adding-subtracting a bit of exposure comp. Finally, the overhang of the shutter speed dial is very comfortable for my right index finger. I wish they would have worked that into subsequent M bodies. 😊
You are being harsch on the looks of the Leica M5 haha! I agree though, it’s underrated and just as good as the M6. I love mine and shot with it all the time!

great pickups man. The 0.58 doesn't have 21 framelines, but I guess you could use the edge of the viewfinder as an approximate 24mm

@Chris Chu the 28 Elmarit!! I have the V2 version and aside from the hood, it’s virtually the same lens. Which is AMAZING, because it virtually has no distortion, and seriously… try close up portraits with it. Do it bro. Trust me. You won’t believe what you can get UP CLOSE with this 28. It’s magic.
