Wow that sounded good..Rode my buddies 1992 CR250 back in the day, had pipe and porting work...To this day that engine would still be incredible...Amazing engine....At the time I was racing the 92' CR125 and man it was fast too......Me and a friend I practiced with who was a former kawasaki team green racing in supercross switched bikes at his practice track...After a few laps we came in and shared thoughts and we both couldn't believe that the stock cr125 was so much faster than his fully modified KX125.....early 90's honda engines were amazing..

2001 was the first cr250 I ever owned, best engine they ever put in a CR250, after 01 they changed the power valve to computer controlled vs mechanical, was a bad move on Honda's part
i love seeing these bikes come back to life! You should race the Chicken kx250 against this one! These were bikes i rode and was around as a teen and its so cool. If i could i would have a fleet of 90s mx bikes. My garage would be so bright with neon colors i wouldn't even need lights ;)

This video made me want to go rip my '95 CR250. Studs are all mounted up. New England ground is a little hard at the moment! I use my '95 as a "daily driver". JDay Off-road, NETRA, 6hr and 24 hour duo team races. It's a great bike. Had Dr.Stack @REPSuspension work his magic, and it's a great woods bike. I have three sets of suspension, two woods, and one I left stock. I like my '85 250r as well. If you can find one of these older CR's, grab it, you won't be sorry. Ride Red

I have one of these (well the 125) in terms of suspension tuning in the manual theres no diagrams. It says 5 clicks out from full in. Does this mean all the way in clockwise and 5 clicks out anti-clockwise?

I rode that sucker in 92 and ended up buying a YZ that year the cr was twitchy had terrible headshake and the forks sucked bad, in my opinion the yz was a better bike that year better suspension better low end and midrange and much more stable at high speed.
