I just watched the video. The underside shot clearly showed the six cylinder rear axle. Better check the front suspension, if there are only four lug nuts the suspension was not changed out. The six suspension will not hold for long with the 289. Speedo is fast most likely has a 3.20 axle from the six! Looks like a nice starter car for a nice project!
I like these older mustangs, even with the imperfections and non working others, this is a car that needs to be enjoyed, drive it as you fix the areas to bring it back. I'd sure have fun with this one,
Brother drove his 66 chevelle for years with a broken speedo cable. Maple 🍁 motors is about the only place you can get a reasonable classic without breaking the bank.
You guys are doing a great job showing these cars. More lots need to do this. If they are showing the cars like you all are they are asking alot more for what they have.
Yes I agree , most of them will not show you any flaws and just let you show up. It’s crazy really , we strive to be 100% transparent and honest. I’m in a church parking lot most of the time as well. I feel if I wasn’t honest all the time I would have to answer for it later. Being honest has brought us a long way in the classic car industry. Any questions in the future we will answer them with clarity. Just give us a call it is the easiest way. Thank you for watching and I hope you continue to enjoy my videos.
For the comment that I see below, for he nailed it for this old girl today. For we are getting smarter for theses classics today. For JeffSexton told you the meaning of love for these cars today.
That is still as nice 60yr old vehicle, She's screaming to be driven. I'd love to have it, she shows well and the little imperfections are miniscule to me as I'd be fixing those things as I enjoy it.
Thats a good price. Nick if the odometer rolls over. The digits normally won't line up perfectly. Great video as always. My 1st mustang was a 1966, bk in 1977, now own a 1970 mustang Grande . Love yr honest reviews. Ty
I live in Florida, and it was only 48 degrees and windy today. This one is what I call a bodyman's special---there are bodywork guys out there that will by a car like this and fix it up, because the price is low
Maple Motors is the King of project cars! These early Mustangs are often a horror show of bodywork hackery courtesy of Jack, Mack, and a six pack out back. Any interested buyer needs to at least do a magnet test - just being aware that evil could still be lurking. At $12,900 its six cylinder origins and suspension are not a big deal. Most guys will want to modernize the chassis suspension and brakes.
Love it. Wouldn't change a thing upside. Keep the cracked paint and whistling window. BUT a nice little stroker aluminum small block twin turbo/or supercharged engine sitting between the framerails, would bring a sinister smile to my lips. Just imagine how many supercar enbarassments you could dish-out...I just started to chuckle as I typed that...MuaHaha.😈🤨🤨🙃😜

Yup that’s why there’s hub caps to cover the 4 lugs

I am with Bro and I loved of what you said here today.

Thank you
This day and age you can just put your cell as a speedometer. Any gps app like waze will work.

This classic Mustang will surely sell fast! Awesome review :)
I agree
You can't beat the price! Very hard to come by clean old cars!

My Mom had a 64.5 Mustang right when they came out. Wish I could have had it. This one is sweet. As always another great video Sir
I appreciate you watching!
Holy moses, thats a very cheap mustang a real beauty ,thanks Nick stay cool 😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
Nice Summer cruiser toy that won't break the bank 👌
I'll look at this going down the road long before I even ever look at one of those newer expensive Mustangs. Mustangs went down hill after 1970 .

I’d like to see you guys do a collab with Curtis from This N That Garage, he’s out of Tennessee too.
The R/s floor pan is held together with screws
That’s a great driver quality classic!
Fun car to have for the $$$ 👍👍

Looks like there are metal plates bolted on below the floor pans. I wonder how bad the floor pans are?
That’s a good deal. A guy could drop $10 grand into this car and have a gem. Maybe less if the guy has above average skills in the garage.
Dang good deal.

Hey Nick she’s a good little driver
Screw the haters Nick, the world is plum full of trolls!!~ Looks like a very fair deal, and great content my brother!!!~
Yes it is annoying when we strive to be 100% transparent. Thank you
Sweet little car, especially for the price
Somebody give that little pony some love.
This mustang should be less than 12,000 cause of all the work there is going to have to put into it major work to be done on this classic.
Thanks for letting me know how to price my cars 🙄
I love that car.
Great video.
Appreciate it!
I think he does a great job going over the cars I would buy a car from them just off the videos tell me everything i need to know
Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate you!
Great video ! 👍Little TLC and she's good to go. I have a 65 Stang also. ❤
Thanks 👍
Would be nice to upgrade the engine to 5.0 at the very least.
Nice body too !
Well done
One man created the mustang! Iacocca ,Frey,Halermanand Oros made it all happen! God bless Ford 1903
Good price for decent 65.
That car has a ton of rust hidden under that paint, In all the usual areas
My favorite race car
I would buy it and not change a thing.
Cool.
Wish i was there, i would buy that
You can barely get a base with a 6 for 12.9
Those rims gotta go dam
😂
Norm iron))👍
Hiding mileage on 50plus yo car?
Who would even say that?
6 cyl car with v8 swap. Still has 6 cyl diff.
Plus it has a 1966 gas cap. I saw there was no V-8 badging, but it does seem to have the 14 inch wheels and correct wheel covers.
Will have 4 lug nuts per wheel
What is that a pile of dirt daubers on the passenger side Muffler
I assume thats what it is lol I’ll tell the detail guys
T. S. C. Paint job, but the price is right and runs good 👍
Thanks 👍
65s bring more money thsn 66s.
They made alot more 66s than 65.
Do you accept offers?
They'll accept an offer of $12,900. They only mark down after 60 days.
That's a inline 6 car with a V8 pull the hub caps 4 lug nuts.
Also why Speedo is off inline 6 cars have lower rear end gears.
Yes I said that in the video
