I went on a needlessly deep Teddy Ruxpin deep-dive last year as part of, stay with me here, research for a chapter of a fanfic I was writing, and I was genuinely impressed with the sheer depth and breadth of Teddy Ruxpin lore and the history of Alchemy II. There's something like a seven-hour documentary on that entire story here on TH-cam, strong recommendation for it.
It's such a treat to see the Pixel Dan family toy hunting! The love for toys yall share always puts a smile on my face. I find it very heartwarming! For the love of toys!!!
Who doesn't love Vintage Toys. It gives us Joyful Memories and brings out the inner child in everyone. I'd enjoyed the Video. Thanks Pixel Dan for Sharing! 🤩👍👍
I LOVED Teddy Ruxpin when I was a kid. Had both he and Grubby, and still do. They work, but not as well as they used to. That said, my youngest turned one the year the new Teddy came out and the second it was announced I made up my mind that she was getting it for her first birthday. And she did, and she loved it. She's much older now and poor Teddy has been stashed away in a toy box for a few years now, but we got a lot of joy out of it despite the odd, digital, eyes. It's too bad it didn't seem to do very well and nothing followed. There was a small stuffed Grubby, but nothing like the old one that could talk and sing along with Teddy. I also miss the physical media that went with the old one as watching the story on a phone or tablet isn't as much fun. Plus I can't imagine that app will still be accessible years from now when she finds the bear in the attic or something and wants to relive the stories she enjoyed as a wee one. Oh well.
The Fobs was our first Teddy Ruxpin toy back in the day -- he was all we could find in the early days of the craze. We had three Fobs and Grubby before we finally got Teddy. So much nostalgia there... especially as like the Cabbage Patch kids that lived in our home -- those were more for my mom than for us. But getting playtime with mom was always a good time.
I'm glad you were able to pick up that grail you've been looking for. Mega Man will need to be finished now. I really enjoy seeing the old commercials/ads when you discuss what you've found. Excellent video
This video is very good, I knew it as classic Rockman, here it was very difficult to get something from Rockman, I was able to buy the 100% Japanese Kotobukiya ones, but those US characters are very good, 3:09 really great 19:00 greetings Pixel Dan 👍🏻💪🏻👏🏻🇦🇷
Dude I love old and new Teddy Ruxpin. Those songs still hit for me. Was so excited when the new one came out. I poked the eye out on my old one. That was tragic.
Teddy Ruxpin is always cool. I finally picked up my vintage Teddy about 2 years ago on OfferUp for $20, good deal! Now I'm on the lookout for a My Buddy and a My Pet Monster. 🤘😁👍
Nice Scorpozoid. Loved that crazy thing as a kid, Just messing with all the claws, cannons, and buzzsaws. Another monstrous machine alongside the beast planet and Remora.
Thanks for sharing Did you have any of the Teddy Ruxpin action figures? My sister had several of them, I enjoyed playing with them. Wooly whutzit was flocked but we didn't have him
I've been to that show often. I always get stuck at the first couple of tables myself. Hooked Horror is awesome! He was a minion of Skeletor in my childhood collection...
Such a great video! Thank you for sharing. I love going out with the family and looking for cook stuff. All 3 of my kids love searching for retro/vintage goodness just like me and my wife do, so it's always fun to go on the hunt. One of the last times we went out we all found some cool stuff thrifting, my kids found 3 or 4 old cabbage patch dolls from the 80s and told me that they all had to come home together so they wouldn't get separated! I found a 1990 Teddy Grahams promotional teddy bear wearing a typical 90s style jacket and sunglasses, and my wife found some Wizard of Oz dolls from one of the anniversary lines that she didn't have! I have also been finding a ton of original goosebumps books, which is awesome as my oldest loves reading them, especially the choose your own scare books!
Yo Pixel Dan is probably the coolest Dad, you’re kiddos are lucky to have a Father like you my dude! Also the prices off vintage carded TMNT are stupid expensive now! Why tho!?
Seeing you find some grails and from a wholesome day of just hunting with your family is so sweet. Love the toy hunts obviously, but this is a nice touch too!
I used to have the Scorpizoid Beast Tank! Just be careful with the thinner figures, their arms and legs can break on you. The Shadow Raiders from the same toy line are what I'm hoping to find.
7:34 I love that Laser Batman, great color scheme on him. And $30 MOC isn't a bad price either. 7:57 and $40 for that Polar Blast TRU Exclusive Batman MIB isn't bad either. I want to get one of those Deluxe Batman figures to be my default Batman, and this one has been on my radar for a while. 8:32 It's basically due to kids who were buying these in the 90s when they were released now being old enough to look for them as collectibles. 5 years ago no one gave a damn about cards Joes from '93 or '94 so they were super affordable.
Oh man, congrats on snagging that Snake Man! I got nostalgic feels for the old cartoon, and may even still want that one even if Jada comes out with a more game-accurate take. The toony Bomb Man, Guts Man and Drill Man were good too. And I sure can't wag a finger when I plunked down serious scratch for the 5" Sonic X version of Rouge, a long-time grail of mine.
Love seeing the haul videos. I have put collecting mostly on hold while I cull and organize my collection and displays. I also understand paying a little over what you are comfortable with for selective figures. But I feel it’s offset by most of the stuff I won’t pay a premium. Anyway, congrats on the funds and checking another grail off the list.
Loved Teddy Ruxpin as a kid…the cartoon. Never had the toy, but still have the colouring book I had from back then. Anyway, long story short, it was a great show :p
Recently got into your channel, and you seem like such a great knowledgeable collector, when I see you and your family at the shoe I kind of fan boyed but wanted to be respectful of your private family time. Hope to see you again and introduce myself and gain some knowledge of our hobby.
I was always a big fan of the War Planets cartoon (known to Canadians and some countries as Shadow Raiders) I didn't know they expanded the toys to have something like that, cool find!
Amazing video Dan loved it. Keep up the great toy hunts and your right checking off everyone the wife and kids plus yourself haha! Awesome seeing all your pickups I dig the fob never seen that until now ! Happy hunting!
The whip comes with the regular magma man also and an orange Hook weapon that commonly comes with a zardeth. So that magna man actually would’ve had two more weapons with him so you pretty much got him complete. The lava dragon rider only comes with the whip and prism.
Crystar is Amazing! Its such a Gem of a toy line......(see what I did there). It has taken me decades to put together a full MOC/MIB set......good luck to anyone trying to get that elusive boxed crystal catapult. It will haunt your dreams. I also have one of only a very few Backyard Legends MOTU scale Crystar Figures that were made many years ago.....they are awesome, but ultra rare. Loving the up coming Crystar Marvel Legends figure coming soon.
Omg Captain Planet !!! 😍 And so so cheap omg.... gimme gimme gimme 😝 Really cool haul! Just out of curiousity... do you already have a completed toyline actually? Or multiple?
Toy prices have gone crazy in the last few years (because reasons), so finding something you really want at a good price means more than it used to. And Teddy's light-up eyes were startling because it was so unexpected, and you had him facing right into the camera, but he's not creepy. Just looks like he's hosting a Goa'uld.
Well done Dan, I am still on the hunt for Snake Man as I love the cartoon and one of my favorites from the show and games. I wish you the best with completing that collection because I am as well. Anytime I see MY PET MONSTER and the ones I don't have (YIPLET, YAPLET, BEASTUR) I lose it lol because its a childhood favorite line. And kudos on the Fob puppet, I dont normally see those in the wild, I wish I could say the Teddy dolls I have work properly but they all have issues, luckily Grubby still works. Thanks for sharing as always!
I used to have a whole bunch of Army Ants (and probably still do in a box in my moms basement somewhere).... And I had about 4 of the Food Fighters figures, so I would have the Army Ants team up and take on the Food Fighters...
My mom would buy me Army Ants if I tagged along with her to Walgreens pharmacy, so I collected quite a few back in the 80s and I kept them until the early 2010's when I guy I knew opened a toy museum in a small SW town in Minnesota and was looking for donations. I hadn't been bit by the nostalgia bug yet and wasn't too attached to my childhood toys, so I gave it all away to him for his museum. When I tried to buy them back several years later (yes, BUY them back), I found out he ended up shutting down his museum and sold everything on eBay. I was fuming, because my Army Ants had all the hard-to-find accessories. I also had given him some TMNT, Marvel Secret Wars figures, GI Joe, dinosaurs and Ghostbusters, but it's the Army Ants I want back. Such is life.
I didn't have a lot of friends growing up and Teddy ruxpin was one of my best friends. In fact I'd spent my entire life wanting grubby and just recently picked him up. I've been looking for the new Teddy for a long time and never saw him. If I find him I will also buy him for my collection. I still have my childhood Teddy and I have a second teddy just to make sure I keep one working
I no joke scored snakeman drillman and the dog for a dollar each last month out at my flea market. Missing his snake missle but drillman has his drill missle. Some of the best $3 i ever spent.
6:18 Oh my GOODNESS! Who is that scary Red Lizard man in the upper left corner??? I had one when I was in kindergarten! I must have been 3 or 4 when my uncle gave me his toy box glfull of figures. Spiderman, xmen, spawn, capcom, all kinds of action figures. That Red lizard was one of my favorite tho! I lost him in Kindergarten or 1st. Someone stole him when we had a party at my house, and to this day I don’t know who he is. I totally forgot lol.
I've puppets everywhere mostly apes and you would think it creepy. But nothing compares to the Devil Bear that is modern Teddy Ruskpin and his digital eyes.
Dan....dude I got the score of the century. I scooped up a complete Snake Man and Guts Man for 80 dollars... at that moment it was like Wayne's World.. "they will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine."
i remember seeing some megaman figures on a store cant remember wich one when i was a kid ,that day it was my birthday DEC 15 told my aunt if i could get one ,she said ill buy you something better .... she got me some pants ....bummer ... but later that day my grandmother gave me 40 dlls got my self a megaman , cutman and gutsman a very happy birthday lol
It makes me smile that your son knew you already had "Big Boss Man", and found snake man! He's a good picking partner.
Always nice to find a Grail Item. For me, it was the Original He-Man and BattleCat at PowerCon 2022.
Great, great Toy Hunting! A lot of fun!
Thanks again for stopping by! Enjoy that Snake man!
I LOVED Teddy Ruxpin when I was a kid. Had both he and Grubby, and still do. They work, but not as well as they used to. Pee-wee's playhouse Christmas special!! Will it find it's way into the holiday vlog 🤔
Will Vinton also made The Adventures of Mark Twain!!! The Mysterious Stranger character is very creepy!!
That Dinosaurs VHS is fantastic! I have mine from childhood. It's great. I watched that over and over.
I'm glad you were able to pick up that grail you've been looking for. Mega Man will need to be finished now. I really enjoy seeing the old commercials/ads when you discuss what you've found. Excellent video
"Don't tell them Carlos, don't be cheekin'"
Don't blame you at all for just taking a day for yourself and not worrying about channel stuff!

Still have my old Ruxpin and My Buddy from childhood. Still love them both. Never did have My Pet Monster though
Hi Pixel Dan and Pixel family, thanks for sharing with us this awesome show, congrats for the great haul, stay heavy and blessings! 🤘😎
Those kids are super lucky to have Pixel Dan as their dad. That's better than Santa!
Great episode Dan! Glad you finally got Snake Man.
I also loved Teddy Ruxpin!! As a kid, I even designed an entire line of Teddy Ruxpin Lego sets which I wished existed.
Good call on Snake Man. That’s a great toy line.
Nice Scorpozoid. Loved that crazy thing as a kid, Just messing with all the claws, cannons, and buzzsaws. Another monstrous machine alongside the beast planet and Remora.
Thanks for sharing
Did you have any of the Teddy Ruxpin action figures? My sister had several of them, I enjoyed playing with them. Wooly whutzit was flocked but we didn't have him
I've been to that show often. I always get stuck at the first couple of tables myself. Hooked Horror is awesome! He was a minion of Skeletor in my childhood collection...
I loved fobs so much as a kid that I named my new puppy Fob. I still have my orange fob puppet. You rarely see them these days; congrats!
I still have my vintage Teddy Ruxpin. My wife and I dressed our son as Teddy for his first Halloween using his actual vest. It fit perfectly!
Such a great video! Thank you for sharing. I love going out with the family and looking for cook stuff. All 3 of my kids love searching for retro/vintage goodness just like me and my wife do, so it's always fun to go on the hunt. NICE! I don’t think I ever saw a Fob in person. Loved my Teddy Ruxpin, woulda loved to have had Grubby and the gang, too.
That Snake Man is one of the few figures I have from that line, and my favorite. I had no idea it was so much.
Even though you filmed less than your usual toy hunting videos, I enjoyed this format. Those Crystar figures are beautiful, that line is calling me!!
Yo Pixel Dan is probably the coolest Dad, you’re kiddos are lucky to have a Father like you my dude! Also the prices off vintage carded TMNT are stupid expensive now! Why tho!?

Seeing those Battle Builders and War Planets unlocked old memories.
I forgot all about army ants! I love seeing things that I had but forgot. I also had quite a few of those Kenner Batman figures as well.

Awesome grab! I'm glad you got it!
wow, I didn't know Snake Man was that much. I remember getting him from the store back in the day.

I know JADA is going to do their own Snake Man, and luckily I’m not a completist so I can pass on expensive originals for retail priced remakes. 😅
15:13 my favorite figure 😂❤😂❤
oh, man i just love your channel dan,
Oh man, that 2017 Teddy Ruskin is still quite affordable. I may have to grab one for the littlies this Christmas. 🙂
I wanted Elec Man from that line for years but never found a good deal. So I feel you.
Well done Dan, I am still on the hunt for Snake Man as I love the cartoon and one of my favorites from the show and games. I wish you the best with completing that collection because I am as well.

Been watching this channel since I was 4 loved this video
Dam our would be awesome for you to Re-Visit your personal collection ! Please make a video ! 💕
Awesome toys collection ❤❤❤❤😊
Each figure comes with a crystal prism that makes everything look like this 😂
I don't know why that was funny
I started singing that army ants commercial as soon as you showed them, then BOOM…you add it
I used to have a whole bunch of Army Ants (and probably still do in a box in my moms basement somewhere).... And I had about 4 of the Food Fighters figures, so I would have the Army Ants team up and take on the Food Fighters...
I do like how quiet new Teddy sounds, but old Teddy plays my Jerry Clower tapes, so.
My mom would buy me Army Ants if I tagged along with her to Walgreens pharmacy, so I collected quite a few back in the 80s and I kept them until the early 2010's when I guy I knew opened a toy museum in a small SW town in Minnesota and was looking for donations. Awesome show Pixel Dan I forgot about that show and I live in St. Louis
I actually have one of the Rex's they used for will vintons a claymation christmas celebration.
I didn't have a lot of friends growing up and Teddy ruxpin was one of my best friends. In fact I'd spent my entire life wanting grubby and just recently picked him up. I’ve never heard of vintage stock?! I would love to go to one.
Was that in West County or South County? Local St. Louisan and every time you say there was a toy show in St. Louis I get sad that I missed it!
I no joke scored snakeman drillman and the dog for a dollar each last month out at my flea market. Missing his snake missle but drillman has his drill missle. Some of the best $3 i ever spent.
❤ the journey pix keep it coming
Seeing those disney infinite figures were cool
I kind of want to get the original Teddy Ruxpin again, I wish I still had mine.
Oh danny boy the toyman toy show is calling
Great video 👏👏👏
Thank you 👍
Awesome toy hunting dad thumb up .
I absolutely love Teddy ruxpen
6:18 Oh my GOODNESS! Who is that scary Red Lizard man in the upper left corner??? I had one when I was in kindergarten! I must have been 3 or 4 when my uncle gave me his toy box glfull of figures. Spiderman, xmen, spawn, capcom, all kinds of action figures.

Fun thx!
Mega Man is my favorite game series too.
Man wish I would have held on to my vinylmation would have traded for your book I had so many was a full blown addiction
I always wanted those Mega Man cartoon toys....
Dan believe it or not when I was 16 I was small enough I could wear the original Teddy Ruxpin's vest. The Velcro fastened and everything.
Is that dinosaur VHS the Christmas special?
Great hull
Dan....dude I got the score of the century. I scooped up a complete Snake Man and Guts Man for 80 dollars... at that moment it was like Wayne's World.. "they will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine."
I still have my old Teddy Ruxpin. Even his raincoat and pretty sure I’ve still got some of the cassettes. Ruxpin slander will not be tolerated.
That big boss man was a two up
Will Vinton created the California Raisins.
I love teddy too, no shame my brother.
great video
man Marvel's Crystar is so cool
Cool 🆒 Toys 🧸
Thank you 🤗
You’re welcome 😉
i remember seeing some megaman figures on a store cant remember wich one when i was a kid ,that day it was my birthday DEC 15 told my aunt if i could get one ,she said ill buy you something better .... she got me some pants ....bummer ... but later that day my grandmother gave me 40 dlls got my self a megaman , cutman and gutsman a very happy birthday lol
