actually, no! She showed it correctly. I made it all the time. I'm 70yr old. We cooked like that. And, this was just desert. There was also a 3-course meal. That's a fact. And, that's just the way things were in the simple life - and everyone did it 70yrs ago - and I still do it now. Only now, they think I have magic. It's quite the opposite. It was that wonderful - it was all available within 5min time, every hour of the day, regardless of what you cooked. You always kept supply. I despise all the instant deserts. They are tasteless. Not at all like the real thing. Her problem is she doesn't speak English - thought I was bashing her cooking! Shoot - I was praising her for showing it - but she had an American Woman from the preparing it -- I made an assumption, it was the woman from the South!!
Becoming One w/ your kitchen is the secret to “whipping up” a cake, salad, main courses, and those desserts. But what do you mean “not instant this and that” when you use condensed milk, Instant coffee, vanilla sugar, or some perhaps packaged biscuit cookies? Oops?
This does not include the 20 minutes it takes to go to the market and hopefully find “vanilla” sugar. Not exactly a standard ingredient in everyone’s pantry.

I made the first one and it literally took me about 10-15 minutes total to gather and prepare for a dinner party and people actually thought we went to the Cheesecake Factory and bought it. Exactly. It’s very simple, and if you make it all the time, it probably does only take 5 minutes. I make this AWSOME lasagne recipe. It took like an hour. But once it put into regular rotation, it was as easy as making spaghetti sauce. 1/2 hour to the oven. So…5, 10 whatever. Complainers gonna complain.

Прекрасный рецепт. Сделала первый вариант десерта. во время взбивания сгущеного молока добавила 2 ст.л. коньяка и 100грамм сливочного масла. Все остальное по рецепту. получилось ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО. Автору спасибо.
К коньяку достаточно было дольки лимона)

Пудинг из заварного лимонного крема)) тем, кто любит заварной крем, очень зайдет. Я бы для контраста добавила либо слой тонкого сметанного коржа, либо крошку сливочного печенья. Мой муж, любивший торты с заварным кремом и прекрасно их готовивший, оценил бы Ваши старания😊

Exactly. It’s very simple, and if you make it all the time, it probably does only take 5 minutes. I make this AWSOME lasagne recipe. It took like an hour. But once it put into regular rotation, it was as easy as making spaghetti sauce. 1/2 hour to the oven. So…5, 10 whatever. Complainers gonna complain.
