Aww you made such lovely things this time. Your mom should be very happy with her big heart, all those lovely flowers have such great textures which for a blind person is fab. I always look forward to watching you and having a good laugh which is very important in life, especially for those of us who are carers. I had my father living with me for nearly eight years before he passed. He had dementia and was also nearly blind and so I needed both humour and crafts to immerse myself in. You are a wonderful daughter and will never regret caring for your mum. Take care. X
Oh, a kindred spirit indeed. I’m very blessed to be able to be here for my mom and so lucky that Zach has never once complained about her being with us almost from the beginning of our marriage. Just today he added new rails in her bathroom and basically “elder proofed” it. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I’d have it no other way. I’m so glad you were also able to provide a place for your dad. I know dementia is such a difficult and long road of good bye. Sending your heart love. I’m so glad I could bring a bit of joy to you. Wow! You have been busy! My husband is laying here on the couch by me as I am watching this and he saw the heart pillow and now he wants me to make one for my niece because the flowers are so pretty. ( He also is always telling me to make things that will use up all the fiberfill I have in the storage shed.😆)

Seamus is real cute and pretty. And I'm still obsessed with the cactus. I'm waiting for them to release that pattern individually. I could probably improvise it but ... I'm like you I don't like to come up with patterns myself, I tried and even though it didn't come out terrible, I'm not as satisfied with it, it's interesting 😅
I really wish they would make it a separate pattern, I think it would take off like hot cakes. I found you this pattern that looks very similar to the same construction of Carl. @@drklstyk it happens with how the stitches work up. You’ll decrease which will cause the bend. Carl is naturally flexible😂🤣
Hey there Cindy, another great video. Laughed out loud several times. I made the heart pillow also, great pattern. I have the pattern for the round pillow and flower pot pillows. One day I'll get around to making those too. Right now I am working on the Chef Gnome for my big project and I have been busy stash busting. Yes, you have been here for quite some time and I’m so grateful! 💖 I did Shamus first and he was about a day and a half, and Neville was about the same but he was definitely more tedious with more sewing and tiny pieces. I have a difficult time making the head look straight. Even when it is all one piece! I put some arms on crooked so I am rolling with and it looks like she is looking over to the side. I am making the Water Nymph from the book Unicorns, Dragons, and More: Fantasy amigurumi.
I have yet to make anything from that book. I need to do something from from it. And I agree….a little head tilt, gives character. The plush ones are the hardest for me to get straight. They are just so big and bulky. Hope you have a nice weekend!! 😁💕☘️

Don't stress too much over the analytics. You'll stress yourself out checking them to often. You are growing way faster than most do at this point. I have an Etsy store which has had absolutely nothing in it for a year. At any given point it will say there was X amount of views on items and X number of visits to the shop. Never less than 16 though. There's nothing there to look at! Lol So yeah, I take analytics with a grain of salt. Use them as a general guide but don't stress over them.

@@therumimillcrochet Several years ago we had a major hatching of little toads. The kids picked up 106 in an hour. Don't worry, we turned them loose. I had them do it get an idea of how many might be in the yard cause we were literally dragging our feet so we wouldn't step on any. One of the little ones would take off across the yard and you'd be sick. That was not a child playing in the yard but a complete toad massacre. One day, my daughter came in like she had been out avoiding landmines and said "Man, Mom, it's like a froggy Holler out there." I said, "That's it! You just found our new name" I added Acres cause I didn't want to limit us to any specific thing. Oldest daughter says "you don't have acres" "If you put it to scale with a frog, how many acres do you think we have?"
I haven't sold on Etsy for quite a while. I just keep it in case I decide to jump back in. We do have a Facebook page and do area craft events. Hope you have a great weekend too!
