@@miguelnunez2415 It kinda makes sense deeming the fact that fans have always said that the same ideologies that eren has that isayama has some of those ideologies. I don't know if that's true or not.
And yet people decry him for the genocide. There's always a peaceful hippy-happy power of kindness, love and friendship solution, even if only in their head.
@@eltri5217 It's not that he literally tried doing that by creating different timelines, it's that he tried to find/discover a possibility among them to guide himself in his timeline. But the thing is, it just doesn't make any sense anyway. And if everything is predetermined then there's no blame for anything to place on Eren especially. But again, this whole thing doesn't really make sense in any interpretation I've ever stumbled upon. It's just a poor handling of highly counterintuitive paradoxical notions by both Isayama and the fandom. It's the only thing that has left me dissatisfied with the series and the main reason I agree that Isayama is a hack. I still admire this work of his, though, and strongly believe that many other criticisms are misplaced and or/ridiculous.
Idk I kinda disagree. Eren may have been “controlled” by the attack titan’s will or whatever but it was his choice to slaughter 80% of humanity. He didn’t even try to work with his friends and teammates to come to a solution that wouldn’t involve as many innocent lives as it did. He even killed the Eldians who were outside the walls! Eren did everything by himself because he thought he knew better than everyone else. And if Eren was the last titan in his cycle then he wouldn’t be able to see past his lifetime. He chose mass genocide of innocent people over the lives of his friends. Now if Eren used to wall titans to take out the major countries who threatened Paradise Island, then I can understand that. But, considering Paradise became like an authoritarian/totalitarian country after the rumbling I would say Eren didn’t really do any better for his home. I can appreciate the story, I just thought everything was so fucked up, especially seeing those little kids get trampled.
I remember thinking that mirror man was Eren, or at the very least a shifter because he forces her to stab him in public. He even looks like he actually gets stabbed, but because of his healing factor he was able to make something so serious look like a street performance. That clever bastard
@@SOSO_CREPITUS I know for a fact he saw the past and future events because that’s the power of the Attack Titan. There isn’t exactly a real explanation as to why he was only able to see this after kissing Historias hand tho. If there is a reason I don’t know it. Also He might’ve seen into different dimensions but that isn’t exactly cannon or confirmed but just a theory.
@@randomanime2403 i'd assume that is the point he saw the founding's memories, since it was still sealed inside him before that point. once he saw the story of ymir and what marley had done to the eldians, he started putting his plans in motion.

I meant they can't be together in any universe or timeline and die happily of old age with marriage and kids .. Eren always dies too soon. They can probably only be together in the afterlife
I freaking love this OVA it really shows just how innocent and sweet Mikasa is. She never wanted to be a soldier, but decides to fight because there is beauty in the world worth protecting
Eren already knew about the future, that's why he told Zeke it was pointless for him to travel on his memories, but except for the fact that Eren did not saw that whether he can use the founding titan's power or not... So I have a strong guess that this is future Eren but man, this give video gave me chills because of the ost
(MAJOR soiler alert!!) it was pointless, but eren needed him to do that... or he wouldve never been able to manipulate grisha, control the pure titans from the last ep of s2, speak to his friends individually, make Kruger utter his friends names to grisha or manipulate dina fritz to ignore bert... he could only do that while he was in contact with a TITAN SHIFTER of royal blood. zeke unknowingly helped eren complete the entire circle.
@@siddharthmeena7643 Exactly right! Eren cannot come in contact with anyone has not had the power of a titan, hence why Grisha was the only one able to see Zeke and Eren
Re-watching Attack on Titan after the final episode would feel better than watching for the first time There are so many hidden details in every frame, every episode
Yeah like try to spot the like 108 times where Reindeer Beartoad and Annie are in the same scene, a lot of the times they look at eachother like "Titan time?" with Reiner going "Nah, not yet"
He can also physically time travel to the past, people just can’t see him unless he wants them to, and he needs the founding titan’s powers to achieve it
@@Gumbino This is also incorrect. The Founding Titan is not physically sending Eren to the past. It is letting him view the past. Which is why they can't see him. The reason he is able to speak to his father as if he was actually travelling back is due to him quite literally sending memories to Grisha from that very moment through the attack titan. He is quite literally observing the same past he is currently changing.
Eren can appear as a vision to anyone at any time. He doesn't actually need to be there. Just like how he talked to his dad to order him around, before he was even born.
No, he can't! He can only visit memories of past attack titans, that's how he can see and manipulate the future. He can also talk to people in the paths too, as he did with mikasa, armin and all his friends over time, wich is definately not the case in this scene, because he didn't have the attack titan power at that time
The ovas technically support the different timeline theory. Technically he says that this world, or potentially the timeloop exists because of Mikasas inability to accept erens death. Every single time weve seen the story "end" is a timeline where Eren dies and Mikasa griefs it and then a new universe happens. If the loop exists and the theory is true, then the anime only ending would be the hypothetical timeline where either Mikasa does accept the death of eren, or Eren doesnt die therefore the time doesnt reloop. It would be interesting to see if Ymir was the one attached to Mikasa because she also was stuck in a loop of being loyal to the royal bloods, so she was using her powers to try to give Mikasa, someone with the same attachment as her, an opportunity to live out her attachment or something like that.
Dude, I just want to say I appreciate this damn theory because it’s well thought out and makes too much sense with all the given knowledge! I have been following this theory for the longest time as well!
*Spoilers* This theory makes sense. Time might loop when Mikasa is unable to accept Eren's death. In the original timeline, time doesn't loop even when Eren died because Mikasa accepted it
"i am nobody, but i can be anybody." after knowing eren can only talk to ppl in the past from the future made me 98% convinced that eren is making a random as MM and say these to her.
That doesn't make sense, he cant just randomly talk to eldians nor tell them what to do without that person being a previous shifter. And the broadcast scene doesnt make sense because that was never done before
@@marley9800 Eren's announcement of the Rumbling through the paths is possible. This is because at that moment, Eren has full access to the Founding Titan's power. This means that the vow to renounce war or anything that limits anyone from using the Founding Titan's full power has been made invalid. We all know that every subjects of Ymir is connected to each other via paths. This paths all converge into the Coordinate, with the Coordinate being the Founding Titan itself. Therefore, Eren's announcement of the Rumbling was pretty much nothing compared to what the Founding titan users can do be it in the future or in the past. An example of this was King Fritz and the creation of the wall titans, or how an Ancient Eldian king altered the biology of all subjects of Ymir too make them immune to a plague. -With that being said, it isn't really out of the realm of possibility to assume that Mirror Man is Future Eren with full control of the Founding Titan.

Since the FIRST time I watched this OVA in 2019, I had already made a very crazy connection in my head with that episode 6 mikasas flashbacks e Episode 7 with the butterfly, that something indicated to me that this would be extremely important in the future for some reason that I couldn't even imagine yet, even following the manga, and here we are with this OVA that still doesn't have a full explanation. cuz it was the most different thing from anything related to AOT so far. And the production of OVA is with a budget outside of what was made available for a Season, there's no logic to spend money for something that even today with the End of the manga, it's so meaningless and at the same time it has a serious tone, different from something done just to give fan service
Regarding you last comment I’d say all of attack on titan is with a serious tone and definitely not made for fan service There’s virtually no fan service in aot anyway and there’s barely any “joke” ovas in the first place

Although Eren appears and speaks in this OVA, he does not appear in the character list, and Yuki Kaji (Eren's seiyu) does not appear either. I think it's a mistake, but it seems weird to me.
The mirror man is actually the older mikasa trying to convince her younger self to let go of eren, that no matter what she do eren will still be a rebel no matter the timeline his in.
@Adam Kahfi if the video of that scene continued... You'll see the mirror man's voice changing into that of mikasa.... And if u noticed mikasa's face was reflecting on the mirror... Meaning the person she was talking too is actually herself
@@darKEmbler well we know eren can affect the past and the future.... But he can't travel to a different timeline(i.e another reality)... That ability only belongs to mikasa, Idk if you understand my point.
My theory: I think Mikasa is the one that keeps making timelines since she couldn't accept the fact that eren died. The current timeline (AOT) we are in is the key to actually ending the titans and freeing Ymir. How did eren know that he would keep dying in each timeline that is created? because of mikasa. Grisha is present in all the timelines mikasa creates meaning that future eren (founding titan powers) he has the ability to go an visit grisha memories and could manipulate eldians. Eren already visited probably tons of timelines and killed kid eren to let mikasa create timelines where mikasa kills eren and accepting his death. Mikasa already had created that timeline (AOT) but after finding out that eren ''died'' to the titan, she created a new timeline where we see the mirror man. The mirror man was manipulated by future eren due to Grisha being present in this timeline and saw the opportunity to distract mikasa and stop her from saving eren. Why would future eren want to kill kid eren? because he wants mikasa to back to the timeline (AOT) knowing for a fact that he still dies in this timeline, she would rather go back to the (AOT) timeline and spend her life with her friends and fighting for eren. when did eren travel to the timeline? He definitely traveled during the rumbling had happened. We never actually saw eren POV during the rumbling. He also had full control of the founding titan powers and had the chance to go back and manipulate kruger and he took the chance of manipulating mirror man and stopping mikasa timeline powers. We can also know that it was future eren as he actually stopped all time since he has the ability to do anything to elidans (basically a go due to the founding titan). Future Eren was the reason why kid eren would always die in each timeline. ''I am nobody but I can be anybody,'' nobody would indicate the randodom person eren manipulated and ''anybody'' is probably anyone that mikasa basically knows aka Eren Jaeger. If mikasa was killed, eren would have probably been free.
I thought that all of this was just a dream but after reading your comment about the timelines and this power where did we get more hint that she(mikasa) was having this power?.... I have read the manga so you reply freely without worrying about spoilers:)

Imo I liked how the manga was concluded, pacing and dialogue tho imo was a 5/10 , end sequence with the island being destroyed 8/10 for me , but I want the aoe cause it just adds so much more depth to the whole story and also isayama can gain respect for being a genius
Holy fuck I’m a true attack on Titan fan I remember somewhat of watching this OVA long ago but after seeing season 4 and then this “mirror man” I just got massive goosebumps and the music makes it so terribly mysterious it’s one of those answers we’ll never get.
Some pieces of context everyone seem to be missing is the fact that this entire sequence was a dream, and the "Eren's death" they are talking about in this scene is where Eren and Armin try to start a plane to explore the world, but they get into an accident during launch which kills Eren, all of which didn't actually happen
You see how once mikasa hears that eren will do no matter what she says “this world deserves to *blank*” the dialogue stops but she also gets a flash of the colossal titan looking over the wall, meaning that she caused that to happen she brought back eren so he could destroy the world
Yoooo I haven’t seen this OVA until now. This is important, along with the colors of the birds, different timelines and the butterfly effect is hinted at a lot especially in the recent “Rumbling” opening. Also I hope none of you have forgotten about Falco’s dream at the beginning of S4 part 1, that was an anime original scene. Mutliversal theory also applies to real life guys! As well as different dimensions, that’s kinda what paths is (different dimensions and multiverse theory are pretty much confirmed IRL). The dimensions are all color coded too, apparently the blue one is where you go directly after death, which is maybe why they chose paths to be blue. And before y’all talk shit about me being a “conspiracy theorist”, most media and supernatural stories are based off of things that can similarly happen in real life but not in the same exact ways. Obviously we can’t run around and become Titans. But I and many others have seen future memories in our dreams that played out afterwards exactly how we saw them in the dream. If anybody else has some cool theories about the story or how it reflects our actual like thematically. Plus the overarching idea about how terrible genocide is, how history is tampered with by the victors and how we all need to band together and realize who the actual threat is. The ones who caused all this bloodshed are the greedy royals and elites who just use us as cannon fodder in their wars. We as a people need to say no, and all stop supporting these corrupted superpowers. They hid so much from their people in AOT, the same is being done IRL.
hey Ryan, did you know this is because of God, and because Christ works in ways like this? Simultaneously affecting past, present and future? Knowing the end, from the beginning? Because we have been with him, from the beginning?
This is what many people are missing and thanks for putting into perspective. If you binge watch the series (all 103 episodes), it's pretty obvious that Mikasa is the one that creates her own set of timelines paths. She did it in the Lost Girls that is set during the end of the Royal Government arc and again during the end of the Battle of Heaven and Earth arc. Ymir was putting the idea on her head constantly but it's Mikasa that does, nor Eren, Ymir or Hallucigenia have power over the Ackermans and Orientals. Hallucigenia herself couldn't turn Levi and Mikasa into titans despite both of them having Eldian blood. While any Marleyan with any Eldian blood can turn into a titan like Reiner, Annie and the Tyburs. In that sense Ackerman blood and the Oriental blood overrule the Royal Eldian blood and the common Eldian blood while the common Edlian blood overrules the Marleyan and all the other bloodlines.
>Levin and Mikasa aren't Eldians, they're Ackermans, a whole new race, but they lived with Eldians >Reiner is an Eldian that lives in Marley as a slave, they're basically forced to work as a soldier >The people who turned into titan because of the worm was the same as Reiner. They were Eldians that are living like livestock/slaves in Marley >Ymir's power only works on Eldian people, it cannot affect those that aren't Eldian. Levi and Mikasa didn't turn into titan because they're not Eldians, they're Ackermans.
@@amadeus8343mikasa and levi are eldians dumbo, first off they can be contacted through the paths. Second off, the ackermans were a clan of eldians that were changed by a previous founder either as an experiment or punishment, that is where there powers come from.

Pretty sure the mirror man is the owl. It sounds just like him and the voice is way older than future young adult eren. And the owl has the memories of eren and knows about Mikasa and armin. Basically eren made the owl do this.
It makes sense that it's Eren but I don't think it's future Eren, I think it's another Eren, one that is trapped in the paths of the different timelines
The foreshadowing is genius. Mikasa's reflexion in the mask, the guy talking about Erens death and Mikasa stabbing him are genius. Eren dies and he's killed by Mikasa. AOT is the best for a reason.
Eren cannot be the mirror man, and it is a reflection of Mikasa from the denial and grief in episode 6 upon hearing of his death. Mikasa has been shown to day dream about alternate paths taken to avoid hardship, but i can see why people would say it could be eren since in the last episode he did create a pocket world to help her grieve
For ya'll who's saying there is 0% chance that mirror man is eren think about it, he knows the future, but the thing is the mirror man might be Eren Kruger, But Kruger didn't go to paradis, it also might be Grisha but i think its Eren Because the only one who can know the future is the Attack titan, So There is like 70% Chance its Eren
There's also the fact that Eren spoke to all of his friends in the Paths, and we saw that he can create any environment he wants. However, I do have to wonder if this is something Isayama had planned while Wit was doing the show and if Mappa will stay true to it. However it's clear that Isayama has had many things planned out since the beginning, and I expect this is one of them. So all we can do is hold our breath for a year and wait.
*show grand finale spoilers and theory* The true ending - AOT started in a peaceful almost-modern timeline where they were highschoolers. In the original timeline, Goth Mikasa is psychologically deeply troubled with the fear of boredom. Highschool Eren, her good friend, deeply wishes for her psychological struggles to be resolved. By some supernatural power, his wish is granted, and the "Attack on Titan" timeline is born, but he has no idea the cost of what he asked for. The mechanism by which the supernatural power resolves Goth Mikasa's psychological struggles is by completely crushing AOT Mikasa's spirit repeatedly. For this reason, she alone is given true time loop powers in AOT. The supernatural force sometimes speaks to her through the bug or even once through temporarily possessing Eren, the one who unknowingly wished for this "A great power [will kill you]" ~ Eren in the Manga Lost girls OVA, in reference to the psychological struggles she faced in the real timeline. The mirror man is also a being created by the supernatural power from Eren's wish (though the mirror man is not not Eren himself). It tells Mikasa that Eren is haunted by the spectre of death to crush her spirit as she repeatedly time loops to try to save Eren ("see you later, Eren") only to fail in every case. Eren comes to know of her time looping abilities after coming in contact with Historia near the end of season 3. This is because Eren, after receiving Ymir's blessing, gained access to Mikasa's memories and sent them back to himself to when he made contact with Historia. In this moment, he understands that he's in a time loop where his inevitable death resets the loop through Mikasa's powers. "You keep moving forward, even if you die, even AFTER you die" ~ Eren to Grisha. We, as the viewers, initially thought he was referring to the memories & deaths of all his Attack Titan predecessors, but the twist is that he was literally talking about his own death. Mikasa loops back to when she was about to kill Eren, but she is unable to. The only reason she killed him at all to begin with is to reset the loop for a better chance at saving him, but this time she instead speaks with him in the paths. Upon confessing his love for her, she sees a glimpse of the highschool timeline and finally starts to speculate that they truly belong to another timeline. This shocks Eren, but he confirms that he saw "Goth Mikasa" in his own visions upon making contact with Zeke (literally canon I'm not even kidding). This gives her the courage and the ability to use the time loop to go back to her original timeline. Both she and Eren remember everything but their crimes. The horrors of her AOT timeline permanently changed her mindset to see life as mainly an attempt to escape the cruelty of the world. In this resignation, the stress of her fear of boredom is gone, and she's able to peacefully live a simple and uninteresting life. She and Eren are a couple. The anti-rumbling squad remember the cruelties of AOT that they faced, while forgetting their crimes, so they may life in gratitude, free of guilt, since the supernatural force that Eren wished upon was, on some level, a benevolent force. This concludes the story of Attack on Titan. This story strongly parallels Coraline in this theme of a supernatural force teaching a struggling girl how to deal with the fear of boredom through hardship and gratitude. It's also noteworthy that AOT Eren acts so radically to protect his friends to the point where he's able to viciously kill criminals at 9 years old with a knife and even send the smiling titan to his house is because in both of those cases, he was possessed by the supernatural power born of his desire to save his friend Mikasa in the real timeline. He wasn't the one doing those things. It's unclear if Eren really did the Rumbling or the assault on Liberio of his own volition (he probably did though, and it's honestly a really noble and selfless moment for his character). Because of his susceptibility to be possessed at any time, its difficult to truly gauge his character. Furthermore, we even see that he gave up on the Rumbling entirely in the cabin timeline, so it's not as if he's THAT driven to do these things. That being said, he would absolutely NEVER send the smiling titan to his house. This is why in his final conversation with Armin in the paths, he's such a mess ("I'm an idiot"). He's unaware that he's sometimes possessed by the supernatural power, so he's completely unable to reason about why he's done the things he's done. This is also why he expresses that he feels he's not in control. It's not just some determinism timeline thing, he's literally been possessed at certain parts of the story to do things he'd never do. I think the reason why Isayama backed out of the "high school ending" is similar to why Darth Jar Jar was scrapped from Star Wars. Despite objectively making much more sense, it looks brutally ridiculous on the surface. He didn't necessarily trust his modern audience to give this ending a chance, so instead he gave them a more superficial ending where things just kind of played out but a lot of things didn't make any sense. To his credit, he was right. The modern audience loved it, and they would probably dislike the ending I proposed (the true ending imo) before even giving it a chance. THAT BEING SAID, there is still a slim chance that there will be a surprise part 4 wherein the good ending is established, especially because in an interview, the singer of "my war" who was supposedly involved with attack on titan beyond that mentioned that season 4 would have FOUR parts whereas there have only been 3 so far (the third part having two movie-like episodes). It would also make sense in terms of animating the manga timeline first so that anime-onlys would understand better. I wouldn't bet on it, but I think it's at least a bit more likely than it seems (seems super unlikely tho LOL). The way I would do it is that I would start part four with the "the end" screen that part 3 left on and have it crushed like a wall by colossal titans. The first episode would just be the Mikasa OVA, so the viewers of the series that didn't see the OVA all understand Mikasa's time loop powers more clearly, and it would continue on from there with the true ending that I proposed. Either way, I'm grateful for this cool show. Thank you Isayama and the whole aot team!
not sure if i like this ending... would much prefer the current one. might be my personal taste though,, for me its because I've connected and resonated with the characters throughout the show and not just Eren and Mikasa. i've felt for them, yes, but also erwin, levi, keith shadis, reiner, bert, hell even gabi and falco. i've resonated with eren not accepting the treatment towards eldians and not wanting to give up for the sake of everyone else in the world, but i have also felt the desperation of the kids whose hometown were crushed as the result of war. i've sympathized with the warriors who were raised to be war weapons and, by the time they realized what they've done, had to suffer the consequences of their actions including psychologically. to have it end the way you mentioned would feel kinda off after feeling this way ;;

I LIKE how in the manga ... the tree that eren liked and were he was burried turned into the tree that YMIR got the titans powers from ...meaning the power will always exist
The reason why future Eren is mirror man, is because we literally see him saying fight fight in front of a mirror. Also different timelines can be seen as a mirror world. The mirror man speaks with Mikasa as if he knows her, how would he know that Eren is fated to die if he isn't Eren? Those facts alone plus this video confirms AOE. Also anime Eren doesn't look surprised in paths, so it's possible that he has "traveled" in paths by sending back memories through a "mirror" by saying fight fight to his past self. It makes sense, how could he otherwise have known about the kidnappers.
I would like to add that the reason why he came to Mikasa in the first place is to prevent his death from happening because of his plans to save his friends in the future. You probably know about this too but I still added it😅
this comment contains some spoiler so read at your own discretion. the manga has already ended and its pretty much confrimed that parallel universes exists in AoT and example would be goth mikasa as shown for a split second in the final season which means this ova is cannon too, eren can only travel in time through the memories but not physically, a possible candidate for who the mirror man might be is grisha as he is the current holder of the Attack Titan, eren could be controlling him through memories.

Also there is a constant symbolism with mirrors. Eren sees a memory of Frieda looking into the mirror as if she can see him back. She acknowledged Eren looking at her that's why she looked so surprised. Eren was looking in the mirror after getting the glowup and in all honesty I don't think he was just checking himself out or that it's a coincidence. He's probably saying "fight" to himself in the past to keep himself going. And yet people decry him for the genocide. There's always a peaceful hippy-happy power of kindness, love and friendship solution, even if only in their head.
that's your headcanon he never tried to do anything. a timeline can't be predetermined and be able to change at the same time that makes no sense.
@@juanblanco7898far from being a hack. He simply fcked up the last bits....hard

He can also physically time travel to the past, people just can’t see him unless he wants them to, and he needs the founding titan’s powers to achieve it
@@Gumbino This is also incorrect. The Founding Titan is not physically sending Eren to the past. It is letting him view the past. Which is why they can't see him. using the founding titan

We all know that every subjects of Ymir is connected to each other via paths. This paths all converge into the Coordinate, with the Coordinate being the Founding Titan itself.

You really just did something with this. Thanks for sharing
damn thats insane
hey Ryan, did you know this is because of God, and because Christ works in ways like this?
Simultaneously affecting past, present and future? Knowing the end, from the beginning? Because we have been with him, from the beginning?
Christ has been preparing this generation in ways that the adversary of all men cannot even imagine or understand.
Not only did I have the same experience as you, but I reached the same conclusion as you. We are both of royal blood.

It's way easier to think it's Grisha following Eren's commands.
I cried so hard his death was inevitable and the fact that Eren himself went through this ending as well which makes it even more heartbreaking

AOT, FMAB,RE:ZERO these are some deep twisted plot I have ever seen
>Levin and Mikasa aren't Eldians, they're Ackermans, a whole new race, but they lived with Eldians
>Reiner is an Eldian that lives in Marley as a slave, they're basically forced to work as a soldier
>The people who turned into titan because of the worm was the same as Reiner. They were Eldians that are living like livestock/slaves in Marley
>Ymir's power only works on Eldian people, it cannot affect those that aren't Eldian. Levi and Mikasa didn't turn into titan because they're not Eldians, they're Ackermans.
@@amadeus8343 Reiner is half Marleyan my bro. Look it up.
Also, I already explained everything in my paragraph. Reread it.
@@amadeus8343mikasa and levi are eldians dumbo, first off they can be contacted through the paths. Second off, the ackermans were a clan of eldians that were changed by a previous founder either as an experiment or punishment, that is where there powers come from.

Future Eren can only influence the past attavk titans memories, he cannot phisically be there for everyone from what I know
Pretty sure the mirror man is the owl. It sounds just like him and the voice is way older than future young adult eren. And the owl has the memories of eren and knows about Mikasa and armin. Basically eren made the owl do this.
The owl is literally dead mate
It makes sense that it's Eren but I don't think it's future Eren, I think it's another Eren, one that is trapped in the paths of the different timelines
Finally someone talks about mirror man
The foreshadowing is genius. Mikasa's reflexion in the mask, the guy talking about Erens death and Mikasa stabbing him are genius. Eren dies and he's killed by Mikasa. AOT is the best for a reason.
I'm glad you made a video about this, this ova was too deep for no reason at the time and now is the time that it could be explained
A nameless wanderer, erasing his trail as he goes. So good at it, I forgot he even existed
I’m completely forgot that like eight year old Eren killed like 3 guys that are 3x his size
he actually killed 2 guy the third one was by mikasa

Eren is literally fixing every plot hole that aot have

the theme song of the video makes the theory even more tenebrous.
I'm shitting bricks and the music doesn't help to stop me
Literally with the AoT ending you know its eren, "Inability to accept Eren's death..."
*show grand finale spoilers and theory*
The true ending - AOT started in a peaceful almost-modern timeline where they were highschoolers.
Thank you Isayama and the whole aot team!
uh
You really wrote all this wow you’re right the true original ending would’ve made more sense but I don’t really like it I like the ending we have rn 😭
not sure if i like this ending... would much prefer the current one. might be my personal taste though,,
for me its because I've connected and resonated with the characters throughout the show and not just Eren and Mikasa. i've felt for them, yes, but also erwin, levi, keith shadis, reiner, bert, hell even gabi and falco. i've resonated with eren not accepting the treatment towards eldians and not wanting to give up for the sake of everyone else in the world, but i have also felt the desperation of the kids whose hometown were crushed as the result of war. i've sympathized with the warriors who were raised to be war weapons and, by the time they realized what they've done, had to suffer the consequences of their actions including psychologically.
to have it end the way you mentioned would feel kinda off after feeling this way ;;
Mirror man said that he was also good at hypnosis, which Eren can also do as the founding

HOLY SHIIIIIT, IT MAKES COMPLETE SENSE!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
The reason why future Eren is mirror man, is because we literally see him saying fight fight in front of a mirror. Also different timelines can be seen as a mirror world. The mirror man speaks with Mikasa as if he knows her, how would he know that Eren is fated to die if he isn't Eren? Those facts alone plus this video confirms AOE. Also anime Eren doesn't look surprised in paths, so it's possible that he has "traveled" in paths by sending back memories through a "mirror" by saying fight fight to his past self. It makes sense, how could he otherwise have known about the kidnappers.
The reqson why he keeps sayi g fight to himself is because he has ro force himself to be the way he is in season 4 nothing more
Remember Frieda was looking at a mirror too that’s crazy
I would like to add that the reason why he came to Mikasa in the first place is to prevent his death from happening because of his plans to save his friends in the future. You probably know about this too but I still added it😅

the manga has already ended and its pretty much confrimed that parallel universes exists in AoT and example would be goth mikasa as shown for a split second in the final season which means this ova is cannon too, eren can only travel in time through the memories but not physically, a possible candidate for who the mirror man might be is grisha as he is the current holder of the Attack Titan, eren could be controlling him through memories.
But ymir was present in the field and ymir is from the past so time travelling could be possible with fouding titan ! and eren did have it ! There is theory said that eren might be reponsible of mikasa parenr death cause how did they found them or even know about aisan race only king know about that ! The fouding titan can manipulate tought as he did wigh subject of ymir and also travel in time physically but SNK can do it only by memories ! Physically as i said ymir was present in final fight also when ramzi was crushed like she was regretting what she have done !
@@Emy-vv6zd @Emy just to clarify the attack titan can ONLY travel through the memories of it's past and future inheritors, the founding titan's power can only be accessed by eren once he has contact with royal blood which will not happen until years later, as for the ackermans and oriental it's not mentioned that only the king knows them, a lot of people knows about them because they used to be amongst the highest along with the royal family and other nobles, mikasa's family was targeted because they know they're the last of the ackermans so they wanted to sell mikasa's mom as slave to nobles, and if you're talking about ymir's appearance when mikasa kisses eren i don't think it's the physical form of ymir i assume its more like how rengoku saw her mom before he dies, it was just a spirit of some sort?
@@neji1199 ok let s say it was spirituel presence ! Why he didn t use SNK memory travel to avoid mikasa parent s death ! Also what i meant that the most powerful person was the king how he didn t know about them ! And if those criminal know about ackermans i presume they also know about ackerman s abilities !
@@Emy-vv6zd mikasa's parents death was crucial for mikasa's growth, she wouldn't have been with eren if they didn't die, so even if ymir could interfere she wouldn't, and as for the bandits they probably didn't know about the powers since the royal family is the only one who knows, from an outsider's perspective the ackermans are fallen nobles who used act as the kings guard
@@neji1199 so you re saying making someone orphan is essentiel just to meet eren ! Growth is beneficial to eren not mikasa this one was happy before ! Without her eren could have an early death ! The kni'es in his pocket also explains how in s4 he manages to just get a cut on his hand suddenly
This is supported by the aot manga ending (spoiler) where eren says he made the Dina titan eat his own mom to motivate his old self.
