    When I wash, I drive my vehicle onto 2x6 planks (one short piece per wheel) so that I can access the bottom of the tires. It works really well

    I have found a medium density brush works really really well for dressing application. Such as a boars hair brush or even the salt and pepper brush from chemical guys at walmart.

    I use a smaller round tipped detailing brush to get into the nook and cranny of the tyres sidewall relief pattern. It avoided sling, but do allow to dry.😊

    Try a soft (white/gray) carpet drill brush. Use it to quickly scrub the degreaser into the tire and then wash both tires and brush. When tires are dry use it again to quickly apply the tire dressing.

    Hey Josh, when you are finished using the microfiber applicator pad, what's the best way to get them clean and rid of most of the chemicals for the next use? Should you dunk it in a bucket of soapy water a few times and squeeze? Do you ever put a bunch in the washer?

    Can you use Super Clean to clean wheels as well as tires ? If so what dilution or full strength ?

    • @stephenwhite5444
      @stephenwhite5444 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, just dont let it dry (no matter what surface your cleaning never let it dry). Anywhere from 4:1 to 10:1 depending on how dirty it is. Test it out at 10:1 and if you want it stronger just add the same amount of Superclean to your mix to get 5:1 and itll just just about anything....I use it on wheel wells and tires.

      I use a large raceglaze round brush. Typically I apply Perl at full strength. However, I remove the excess and/or flatten them out with an old 4" flat paint brush. Since Perl doesn't have a trigger, I'll sometimes cut it 1:1 in a small spray bottle. My preferred process is pouring Perl into large-mouth container that will accept the brush and dip it into the product as you would paint. I use a handled container with magnet for the brush. Common item at any paint supply store.

    Can you do a review on the aqua shine tire shine?

  • @dimmacommunication
    @dimmacommunication ปีที่แล้ว

    Personally I think that tire shine is something you do sometimes cause you like it, too much effort for only the tires.
    Also strong cleaners needed for the tires will decolor and probably damage the tire in the long run.
    I'm trying CarPro Darkside to have it last at least 1 and a half month, it says 3 months but we will see.

    Hey man, this is probably a very specific question, but what can you recommend for the sidewalls on a set of Michelin pilot sport 4s? Nothing seems to want to stick to mine. I have tried applying tire dressing with a brush and with applicators, as soon as I go to wipe the excess it looks dull.

    • @wendelladkins4372

      I've had issues like that with other types of tires. I try to avoid direct sun light if possible cause it tends to dry up or soak up thinner tire dressings way too fast but if you're using thin dressing put it on it thin coats. One coat and go to the next. Work your way around the vehicle like that. The dressing should tac up some and the dab the excess off instead of wiping. My personal tires I use Maguires endurance tire gel. It's the purple stuff. Easy to use as long as you have a primed sponge like dressing applicator. Work the dressing in real good. But with the gel I use I normally don't wipe of excess cause I work it in really good and I'm not driving right after. Hopefully this helps you

When you’re done dressing The tire, pull out your blower and blow The edges around the tire and you’ll be good to go!!!
