In the sun-kissed valleys of California, the roots of the Sicilian Di Martino family run deep, intertwined with the vines they meticulously tend to. Generations ago, they left the shores of Sicily in search of a better life, finding solace and purpose in their vineyard nestled amidst the rolling hills. However, tranquility turns tumultuous when their peaceful existence is threatened by the imposing presence of a formidable landowner, whose influence casts a shadow over the community, wielding power like a modern-day Don. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, the Di Martino family finds themselves at a crossroads, forced to confront not only the external threats but also the internal struggles that threaten to unravel the bonds that hold them together.

i remember even my dirt poor grandpa wearing 3 pc suits in the field in the 1950's... & denim wasn't big til i don't know when- one-size-fits-all suits was what he was used to.
anyways, you notice mr roberts steel cold blue eyes- i think that's his trade mark. he plays a good bad guy but it goes to dshow, he's a very good actor. so young, in this film. the youngest i've ever seen him. i've always liked him. ty for posting this.

and it hasn't changed a bit. Crashing many rail lines & now trying to bring in new ones elsewhere, stealing land for new sea ports, removing farmers & landowners to make way for the mining that the sea ports will service. Removal of mankind literally - & the evil in this world will never stop, until we all stand up & make it happen! Australia!
Compared to his current output, Eric Roberts made many impressive films early in his career.
