@Feldmanphysicaltherapy OK, I watched your video and added plain table salt to my water bottle and drank a pre-ride glass of salted water then went out and did my full out 22 mile bike ride. Wow, what a difference it made! Went all out and had leg strength clear to the end of the ride and raised my speed average by a single mph which was huge for me. Instead of not having the strength to push those pedals at the end, I had the power! It blew my mind actually. Today I got my package of sodium citrate you showed in your video and I cannot wait to use it this coming week. I credit your video for changing my rides for the better. THANK YOU!
Thank you for the video. I am struggling with insertional tendinopathy. I have 2 questions, I appreciate your help. 1. Should I do these exercise one a day or 3 times a day? 2. Do you recommend doing alternating ice/hot bath?
Great vid! I am adding sodium to my long hot bike rides. Thanks again.
Great! Keep us posted how it goes

Amazing!! So glad we could help!
Can you use table salt?
i am using table salt during my training and it works just the same as these salt tablets....just a quarter of teaspoon is just enough
As long as your stomach tolerates it
Do you really mean 1500mg of sodium per liter or do you mean 1500 mg of salt. 1500mg of sodium is a lot?
?
Sodium. I use 1700 mg sodium
@@Dakota.Covers Thanks for pointing that out
@@davidosolo many popular sports drinks don't have enough sodium for athletes.
@@Dakota.Covers Yeah, I prefer gels to cover my sodium intake.
I see you also do some nice guitar-playing. Keep it up!

I can only use sodium citrate? Is it different from table salt?
When you say sodium n mg are you talking about pure sodium? Table talt and other salts have different percentages of sodium.
Yes. Just the sodium
What is your recomendation on potassium?
Nothing specific during exercise you should be fine with the normal daily recommendations
So I can eat 9000mg of sodium if I drink a gallon and a half of water per day?
This is for training and racing
3500mg of sodium with 20oz of water 60-90 minutes prior to a 5K road race too much?
I think thats too much
It might come out the other end maybe half it
How much is 1500 mg of salt
around half is sodium
Looking for 1500 mg of sodium, not salt.
Umm, uhh, umm, uhh 😑
