Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today we're back in Zeepkist for more themed rack builds! This episode the theme is "BIG" so I decided to use the scaling method to built a really tiny track in what appears to be a world built for giants! In the Zeepkist level editor, you get access to the same tools the developer uses to create official tracks!

Use the paint tool to paint levels however which way you want, pick from multiple skyboxes in the settings menu, and use the tree gun to quickly decorate your levels with lush greenery and trees!

This weeks tracks were all nice, but this one really put a smile on my face. Had absolute blast with this one :D
E: there was no cheese, it was just driving as tight as possible and getting the landing clean on windmill ;)

Do you use keyboard or controller or do you switch between? Just wondering cuz of how technical you can do it. (Used to play tons on TMNF on keyboard)
@@elite4mewtwo Warcans is a controller player. I don't know if he ever plays with KB.

@@someoneme7057 Ty for letting me know, been loving the vids about the game and been worried if it is good for KB, so to Not know that you can be very technical with KB in this game (some games dont relay input properly for KB) and have it properly input doesnt make me feel better about playing it.

Next time you make a normal sized track, just for pure randomness, make the podium SUPER mini so that you couldn't see it if you were right next to it. The camera seems to scale with the podium at the ending as well. Do this so that GIANT cars rain down on you on what otherwise would have been a normal track.
The randomness will make everyone laugh.
There really wasn't any cheese on this, just trying to joke about the tiny track 😄 It's all up to driving as tight as possible in the corners without touching the edge
But loved the track, definitely the best this week, even if it was kinda the opposite of others

Kosmos front wheels gave me the impression of keyboard inputs then he confirmed.
With such a slow track i would bet the over steering and inconsistency caused by keyboards played a big role.
That along with kosmo always driving up the container losing speed.
When your creeping to almost to a stop before hitting a boost that 1mph lost driving up the container could cost a full second i would imagine.

Can we have a tutorial on how to scale the pieces in the files? That would also be cool if Yannic ever added scaling so you didn't have to go in the files but I know there are some issues with that.
The scaling is planned, but it's kinda tricky in Unity since it messes with shaders and stuff, at least according to the dev. So who knows in how many months we'll get it ;___;
just a tutorial on text editting in general would be great

I think you should try scaling up the podium to be absolutely massive, and then make a track that fits entirely on the podium. It'd be amusing to have the track going around the top three cars.
Kosmo: "maybe they ride on the left side of the crate skipping past the fan."
Me: "ok, then do that and stop running the same lines."
I wonder if Kosmo was breaking too much when going from the crates back to the track, a few seconds later Seyga overtook him right there into the loop.
So there might be a couple tenths to be gained.
Or hitting the curbs. That slows you down too.

Next theme(please) : Tiny. Big track in tiny world (the track would be bigger. Just opposite of this one :D)
Map idea if you are faster on the first checkpoint it somehow makes you slower overall
I had the idea from kans track a while ago as when he was faster at the start he jumped higher and then that meant he took longer to land
@Kosmonaut, try an ‘up & back’ theme, courses where you have to go from the start to a checkpoint at the ‘end’ and then back to the start again to get to the finish, taking the same track in both directions.
Always such great creativity on your track builds. Love to see it 👌🏼

I love the stuff you guys build. I still don't know how you edit in game. The cut and paste is where I need help.
Hey Kosmo, i watched many of your videos and came up with an idea you mentioned in the pikes peak video. How about you build a freeride skaterpark with checkpoints you can collect and a finish in the middle? so everyone has to finde the perfekt line like the other open world maps.
Can you guys do a Mobius strip themed track? It could be interesting to loop back on the underside of the start line.
I love the prepping of the track than building it in the time

You should do a track inside of a building going along the walls floor and in and out of windows kind of hot wheels inspired
You guys should do a set limit of parts and objects for your track and see what you guys come up with with the same set stuff

Do a evolution zeepkist. Short sub 25 sec tracks. Choose best then work off that
Griel is going to have a field day once he knows this, considering he made a whole series of 'Hotwheels style tracks.
Griel knows, although he's using the plugins made by modders to make it easier than editing text files ^^

Think I know how they cheesed it. It's something about the 1st spiral. I think you can jump from the spiral section to the next checkpoint
