Because they really were very objectively good. As Sakura said, it did not need to be perfect, it had to be fun and a good memory, and that's perfectly well done. I think Coachella really made her realize her purpose as an artist and an idol. She was able to truly show her genuine side & have fun on stage because American standards are different than Korea. She was basically a woman on stage instead of an infantilized little girl lol. She definitely suits this vibe way more than the Korean vibe.

Not a single girl group have guts to speak like this mentioning abt thier faults but lsrfm does not the first time, they always reply to controversies every single time but instead of keeping quit and running away they choose to fight back and improve. Have seen many appreciating thier performence in Coachella, and many are scared to support because of the forced hate people are stepping back from appreciating by bringing in other artist. Doesn't matter what others say they served at coachella ,and where the best choice to be invited there. No other 4th gen girl group could have hyped the crowd the way they did!!. Thier songs bought the energy people needed. Atleast they sang 100% live with no backtracks!!
Theya re great performers indeed, to be hoenst In terms of energy and stage presence I only compare them with boy groups, they know how to put on a show and that's what festivals like coachella require to begin with...most artists who attend even among the western ones don't even sing live and they still receive praise just for their showmanship and for hyping up the crowd, so what right do people have to hate on them when they actually challenged themselves on multiple levels and did a complete live performance with back to back harcode choreos while still keeping up the same energy from start to finish

No matter what I think Sakura is perfect Le Sserafim. She improved so much during last 2 years and I know she will improve even more. its time ppl lay of Sakura, she never claimed to be the best singer, she did quite the opposite tbh... now she imroved her singing in a short amount of time and she has previously improved her dancing a lot too to really solid level. And you know what? everything else that comes with the job of being an idol, isn't she like, the best in the entire industry at all that? :P Who else is as consistently funny and entertaining on every variety show she appears on? Who else is more charismatic? and she has a giga fanbase for a long time (for good reason).
I got up at 1AM to watch the live stage and support the girls, and I can't think of any group that's earned that stage more than Le Sserafim (except maybe ITZY but that's just me being excited for them to get to Chicago for my first live K-pop)

Yes they are allowed to make mistakes. But the amount of mistakes is the key to the amount of criticism/hate they are receiving. They did a lot of mistakes vocally. They should give the girls a break after Coachella. What I hate more than their popularity declining is that they will retire due to mental health issues, mental illness, or suicide, causing them to stop working.

There are lots of KPOP groups. Hundreds. Is it common for people to flock to those groups that they do not like just in order to make negative comments? Is it possible to hate stan a particular group?
Some people cant handle feeling jealous, so they take it out on other people, they cant accept the fact that their favorites didnt get invited to Coachella, or has had the same success as Le Sserafim, its emotional teenagers that wasnt raised right by their parents, all the groups that has big success feels the wrath of these jealous people, and when next new big k-pop group emerges they will switch their target to them, its an endless cycle of jealousy. And as we all know, emotional teenagers that hasnt felt a parents warmth are the loudest people on the planet.
They made it to the news so even Koreans who dont listen to kpop know their controversy now. And theyre not happy with Sakura's response. Ive read some comments and I think I agreed with someone who pointed out that since Sakura thought it was their best stage then theres no way for them to improve or grow. 10 years as a japan idol not in korea, japan had different training than korean idol back then. You can see it in Produce 48 survival show how different Japan and Korean Trainee are, Even the korean vocal and dance teacher said so .The japan idol didn't even know how to sing or dance properly...only Sakura manage to do her best at that time even without proper training..they didn't focus on vocal or dance....Japan Idol Industry focus on being kawaii , performing cutely and entertaining their fans instead of focusing on your singing ability or dancing ability. Their training focused on how to interact with their fans and how to make their fans happy instead of focusing on dancing and singing lessons. If you watch the show then you know.

No matter what I think Sakura is perfect Le Sserafim. She improved so much during last 2 years and I know she will improve even more.
I hope they won't read negative comments, especially Eunche and instead their company will take in criticism and finally start giving them songs that are comfortable for them to sing.
I'd love to see that for all K-pop groups instead of expecting talented people to fit a certain sound when that's just not where they shine.

@@Lia_michelin143t h even if the songs are in their range, it's not easy feat to sing and dance that hard back to back, it's just human nature to ba shaky and unstable when you're out of breath...yhe reason you can't see that in other girl groups is because they don't really do real lives like this but it's mostly either with a loud backtrack mixed in with their voices or ihe vocals are processed or they just straight up lipsync...even the groups which are known for their good vocals are actually unstable and out of tune when they sing with raw vocals while dancing, this is the relaity, but people got iaed to those polished music shows performances thag they can't now accept wheb someone does perform live

its time ppl lay of Sakura, she never claimed to be the best singer, she did quite the opposite tbh... now she imroved her singing in a short amount of time and she has previously improved her dancing a lot too to really solid level.
And you know what? everything else that comes with the job of being an idol, isn't she like, the best in the entire industry at all that? :P Who else is as consistently funny and entertaining on every variety show she appears on? Who else is more charismatic? and she has a giga fanbase for a long time (for good reason).
I got up at 1AM to watch the live stage and support the girls, and I can't think of any group that's earned that stage more than Le Sserafim (except maybe ITZY but that's just me being excited for them to get to Chicago for my first live K-pop)

Fans who think they criticize critically based on your standards and expectations is out of this world. Like you all never made a mistake or slip up in your life, you all so perfect. She's human like you and I, were not made of the same mold that grants everyone everything, some have less and some have more. You dont think about her hard work that shes put in through the years and say shes been in the industry for long but youve failed to realize that everyone has their own stride in taking steps, even baby steps count. Are you all exemplary in what you do? Do you have a lot of achievements in life? Did you never disappoint your parents? Cuz I'm mediocre and I dont disrespect and disregard hard work. It's enough to support the people you like, but you should stop doing useless work right away. We fans, first of all, like their looks, style, fashion, hair and makeup. Furthermore, I love how each member makes an effort to improve the difficulties they have faced, and gradually achieve success. Their performances and songs are the best. Each member is also working hard on their singing skills. And above all, the members are very close. Sakura protects Eunchae like a mother, and Kazuha like a sister. Chaewon, along with Yunjin, is doing her best to maintain the highest level of this group. Furthermore, I don't think you know this, but they are the best comedians. When the members get together and play together, some kind of comedy occurs that makes me laugh, and I feel at ease. They will also retire at some point. Please don't disturb them as their time is running out due to Mnet's fraud and the restrictions on their activities due to COVID. What I hate more than their popularity declining is that they will retire due to mental health issues, mental illness, or suicide, causing them to stop working.

There are lots of KPOP groups. Hundreds. Is it common for people to flock to those groups that they do not like just in order to make negative comments? Is it possible to hate stan a particular group?
Some people cant handle feeling jealous, so they take it out on other people, they cant accept the fact that their favorites didnt get invited to Coachella, or has had the same success as Le Sserafim, its emotional teenagers that wasnt raised right by their parents, all the groups that has big success feels the wrath of these jealous people, and when next new big k-pop group emerges they will switch their target to them, its an endless cycle of jealousy.
And as we all know, emotional teenagers that hasnt felt a parents warmth are the loudest people on the planet.

They made it to the news so even Koreans who dont listen to kpop know their controversy now. And theyre not happy with Sakura's response. Ive read some comments and I think I agreed with someone who pointed out that since Sakura thought it was their best stage then theres no way for them to improve or grow. If you read her post, you wont see anything that says theyll do better next time or they'll give more effort to improve. She was basically saying "fck you. That was my best. Take it or leave it." And that even angered more knetz because shes not even Korean. Koreans have learned to take pride of Kpop idols performing in major international events like Coachella and they think that LSF ruined not just their group's reputation but the entire country's as well.
Most Koreans have the same sentiment. Ive actually never seen anyone defending them. Even their fans in Korea are very silent.

The idols of this new generation do not have the capacity to go on stage and sing for real. Big Hit should choose well when creating their bands since there are many good singers in the world. 10 years as a japan idol not in korea, japan had different training than korean idol back then. You can see it in Produce 48 survival show how different Japan and Korean Trainee are, Even the korean vocal and dance teacher said so .The japan idol didn't even know how to sing or dance properly...only Sakura manage to do her best at that time even without proper training..they didn't focus on vocal or dance....Japan Idol Industry focus on being kawaii , performing cutely and entertaining their fans instead of focusing on your singing ability or dancing ability. Their training focused on how to interact with their fans and how to make their fans happy instead of focusing on dancing and singing lessons. If you watch the show then you know.

For jpop idol years ago, they didn't even have dancing lessons as mentioned in Produce 48. they dance by themselves, learn on their own without any dancing/singing teacher for 8 years in Sakura part. I respect how she tried her best in the show despite the huge difference between jpop and kpop ...and how the j idol tried their best in the show despite the hate they got at that time for not knowing how to sing n dance ....if we counted all THESE REALITY FACTS which ppl don't know about or just turning blind eyes to it as they just want to pull lsfm down and hate on Sakura cause they had nothing better to do in their life, Sakura only trained for a year in Korean industry at what kpop consider as old age to debut in kpop industry while other kpop idols trained since they were a kid to build their singing and dancing ability which sakura missed as she was a japan idol for 8 years.
