I have a black miniature poodle who had 1 litter of three 9 months ago. Her pregnancy came as a shock because it came to be while she was away for a month going through extensive dog training. As it turned out the father was a rescue poodle who genetically was a goldendoogle but him being a rescue his owners knew nothing about him except that he ‘looked’ like a poodle. All the babies found new forever homes but what an experience raising them til they went. Wish I’d known of your videos back them. Thank you for sharing this. 🐩🐩🐩♥️

What kind of temperment testing do you do to match puppies with a perfect home? Or do you just let buyers pick whichever puppy?
we do temperament testing for the families information and i let them make the decision on which puppy they like best... in order of the waitlist. but this is all in 100% that i agree with their decision. im not going to place a puppy in a home with a family that i do not believe it will be a good match. but since we are so hands on, we very VERY RARELY have a puppy that wouldnt be good for just about any family. building confidence in young puppies are the key to it all. none the less, we help route and educate the families in the first couple weeks on how to best get the puppy acclimated with them and their new home.

How often do you breed the female - this one’s Mom? Prior to adoption, are the puppies spayed/neutered and do they receive all necessary shots? Does a veterinary record accompany adoption? Is there a health history documented by a veterinarian provided, so I know that the puppy’s genetic history is healthy? Is the father of this pup one of yours, or did you pay for the pairing?
this is her moms first litter. she will have 2 more litters with us and be retired at 3 litters as long as everything goes smoothly! and we do NOT spay/neuter puppies before they leave. but they are sent home on a buyers contract where they are required to spay/neuter by the time the puppy is 9 months old.
puppies go to the vet at 6 weeks old, and yes! we print out that info for the families and it goes home in the chart with each puppy 😊 (we go to our holistic vet in our hometown!) then they get their vaccines at 7 weeks old, then go home at 8 weeks old.
the father is one of our studs. he also lives in a guardian home (as the mother does too)

Standard poodle owner/groomer/handler here. You are taking a chance on cutting the leather of her ears with your ‘quick’ method…also it seems so close to the skin.
ive been grooming for 7 years and never cut an ear (knock on wood). i will be careful! thank you for your comment.
