Got a new ride you probably never heard of and it's technically an Antique!

- This is registered as an Antique because it's over 25 years old! I bought a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII. I was excited when I was able to take a day off work an pick it up. The owner was a very nice older gentleman that was not on Social media, so his detailer listed it for him. It was listed for almost a month! I don't know how I was able to get it for such a low price!

I had a ‘98 Mystique LS (I wanted a new 2002 Cougar or a Mark VIII but both were out of my budget at the time).
It was gold with tan leather… V6, sunroof, spoiler w/LED 3rd brake light, and a nice tint job later on
I went into some forums at the time and after lots of research, had professionals install a very expensive HID kit, some KW Muth signal mirrors, an auto dimming rear view mirror, and the Ford Mondeo side indicators…
I wanted to give it some of that Lincoln Mark VIII flair and - for a little car that wasn’t a luxury car - it definitely got looks and compliments. I miss that ride 😌
I still remember test driving the Mark VIII and how beautiful those first gen xenon headlights were, the rear-facing indicators built into the mirror housings, and the neon glow of the heckleblende taillight assembly.
