aww…yes the start of this hobby can be very difficult once you understand them it’s quite easy…wishing you all the best don’t give up 😊🪴
Ur all videos r so nice nd full of knowledge
thank you so much for watching mam wishing you all the best 😊🪴
great info
My tiger tooth aloe looks healthy, absolutely no roots. What's the solution?
how long as it been without roots ?
@@LushGardener no roots for about one and a half months
No roots for about a month and a half
yes they are extremely slow ..i think i had put the cutting almost a year back and i noticed it now ..to be honest we cant do much in terms of roots all we have to do is wait
What about watering?
same like regular succulent when soil is dry …completely dry …excess watering will coz rot root .
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
thank you so much 😊
Isn't this one is called haworthia reinwardtii
yes you're right ..but again there more varieties under Haworthiopsis reinwardtii ..example Haworthia reinwardtii 'African Pearls' ,Haworthia Reinwardtii Hybrid (Attenuata ) etc
Nice info. What's the approx. ratio of sand:soil for haworthia that you recommened? Because 80:20 tends to dry in no time. We have the same red soil as yours and sort of similar weather.
you can keep the same ratio or make it 70:30 ….if you keep the same ratio you can put a thin layer of garden soil above to reduce rapid evaporation….but dont use pebbles above the soil as dressing
@@LushGardenerThank you. I agree with you on not putting pebbles as top dressing. Light layer of soil on top surface seems good - I guess that's what you've done.
yes but ensure its thin layer not to much …anyways these are kept in indirect bright light so won’t be much issue…I even do this for string of pearls
@@LushGardener @LushGardener Thanks for the tip. I'll certainly give your technique a shot. Haworthias are very forgiving and great for beginners, especially the hardy ones like limifolia, attenuata, fasciata family. I've been growing them in just plain filtered soil and crushed brick pieces with very controlled watering - they seem to be happy.
yes absolutely and they are ok with pretty much any climate be it humid or dry environment….infact most succulents go limp in coastal areas with high humidity and heat …Haworthiopsis are know to do excellent even in this given conditions…so yes they definitely can be termed as beginners plants very easy and care free ..bonus point they don’t even have issues with mealy and pest attack in most cases
Will ur dark haworthia turn in original colour again if yes by wen,
it’s slowly turning green I will update in an video soon 😊🪴
@@LushGardener I will wait as mine is also turned brown, waiting for it to turn green. Don't know how many months it will take
it can months mine it’s been 4-5 months it slowly starting to turn green
