Yeeeeesss! I love the Beggars! When I play Soldier it's the only Rocket Launcher I use, almost to the point where I can kill people and rocket jump better with it than a normal RL. People call it a noob-tube... but hey... I'm Captain Crutch when it comes to offclassing. I love equipping ridiculous unlocks and using them to create my own playstyle.
Edit: I have two loadouts for the Beggars I thought I'd share:
A) Beggars, Gunboats and Escape Plan - for when I just want to fly around the map and kind of play solo, really great for maps with huge open areas and high skyboxes. Once you get the hang on overload jumping, your mobility becomes insane. When every other Soldier has to have WALLS to jump off of, you can just jump off of THIN AIR and be behind the enemy without anyone even noticing! If you want to check out an amazing Beggars player, search for "blindpryo" on TH-cam and watch his Bazooka compilations. He has mastered this weapon; his Beggars has almost 100,000 kills on it! :0
B) Beggars, Concheror and Diciplinary Action - for when I want to play with my team and be the driving force behind every push. When I get my Rage meter to full, I just blow into that shell, load up 3 rockets and run around the corner at top speed, demolishing everything in my way! Because you get health back based on the damage you do with the Conch, pretty much anything that doesn't 1-shot you can't take you down as long as you keep up the rocket spam! It's amazing, it's some of the most fun I have in pubs. This loadout is also awesome to use on small, enclosed maps like Dustbowl, where it's difficult to escape a sudden explosion barrage around the corner!
If people are calling you noob or crutch for playing with the beggars, then they are just ignorant. The beggars takes far more skill to use properly and effectively than the stock rocket launcher. They are just angry you killed them :)
Oh crap, I forgot to mention blindpyro. He was one of the reasons I started using Beggar's. Shoot! Well thanks for reminding me, haha!
I started using the beggar a few weeks ago, I used to use stock and direct hit but now I have 2,456 kills with the beggar'a bazooka. I go on a 24/7 server on Turbine...I destroy people with it. Sentry camping my team is almost impossible, I already am good at taking them out, but now all I have to do is take about 40 damage, then it's destroyed. I went beggar only for a couple hours, I ended up with 400 kills, 90-110 deaths. It's insane!

You can actually get ammo from dispensers! You just switch to you secondary or melee weapon and wait for about two seconds and you have ammo again... Yay

When you have the beggars and you see a friendly dispenser just switch to your melee weapon and you can get ammo from it

Alaric Ageng I wouldn't use the liberty launcher if i were you it does soooo low damage that its hard to kill people with 4 rockets also if you want to be good with the direct hit just saying use the stock rocket launcher so if you don't hit them directly you can still kill them and not get killed by scouts because they can dodge rockets easily.

You actually can get ammo from dispensers with it, as long as you change to your secondary or melee. I honestly prefer the conch with the beggars though, It's fun being able to charge at a huge amount of people just spamming rockets, that will also heal you.

Nate Fox, I think you would really enjoy making a compilation video of demoman explosive jumping with loose cannon and cabering ppl on Hightower. It's one of my favorite pastimes in TF2.
A few days ago I started liking TF2 again, and I use the Beggars Bazooka a lot. I remember a tactic I used to use all the time, where I loaded up the rockets, but stored them without shooting until an enemy attacked me. Then I released the rockets and killed them. But I can’t remember how I did it. ☹️
a looping taunt of any kind, being the high five, flip, rps, the dances, any of the moving taunts, those will work
my favorite part of it is that when your about to get a kill, a phlog pyro comes with a pocket medic and kills you, you do not want to know how many times this happened to me
I love the beggar's because I'm not really a good soldier, so on those rare occasions when I do play as one, I know that I will most definitely, probably, most likely, at the very least, hit something with 1 of the 3 rockets

the buff banner beggar's bazooka combo on mvm is really op
upgrades makes it really powerful
also since you can charge up to 8 rockets when you have clip size upgrade maxed, its easy to charge your Buff banner so, if your going to use your main in mvm, make sure to use this combo, also you will be sticking to the place near a Dispencer and ammo pack because Dispencer only gives 18 ammo

Here's my ideal BB loadout:
-Beggar's Bazooka (obviously)
-Reserve Shooter (in case taking the time to load isn't the best idea. Also, good for dealing with troldiers)
-Equalizer (that misfire hurts, which is why I use a weapon that takes advantage of that)

Ehh, I'd have to see. I'm not very good at sticky jumping yet, haha. I am practicing though!

This thing is stupidly fun, as you said. I myself have a strange spec ks one named 'The Shitzooka' 'Sprays shit in every direction but straight.' I always pair it with a banner, and usually my melee is the escape plan or pan.

The blast radius nerf does not do that much so long as you get up close to your enemy, which you should do all the time while using the bazooka
whats the difference between explosion and blast radius? or is it the same?
Overpower 449 The blast radius refers to the maximum distance your target can be from the point where a rocket, sticky or grenade detonates and still take damage from the explosion. Rockets already have a pretty generous blast radius, so the reduced radius on the bazooka wont make a big difference if you get close enough to you target.

i really need to start sneaking up using the overload jump but im mastering it so any tips?
Heres something weird, just recently, I've been rocket-jumping with the beggars bazooka and realized that you can technically fly in mid air. Its actually really easy and I've managed to get a lot of kills mixed with the market gardener.
It does get ammo from dispensers, you have to hold your secondary or melee to get the ammo
Hey Nate, what about using the Reserve shooter in a market gardening loadout? Obviously it's not gonna be that helpful, but you get a much faster weapon switch to the shovel once you jump

since when i got the beggars bazooka i was still new to tf2 so it was much easier to learn the rocket jump timing was quite hard at first even though i could rocket jump with stock

beggars bazzoka + gunboat = total perfection, doesn't matter if the opponents far away u can do a sick rocket jump to get to them and then anhilate them. unless ur me who sucks and dies instantly
Correction: It does get ammo from dispensers, you just can't have the beggars equipped while near the dispenser.

Dispensers WILL give ammo to the beggars bazooka, just dont hold it out when u get the ammo.

I use the Beggar's Bazooka as a stock rocket launcher but with a 20 round clip and a slow ass firing speed.
I started rocket jumping with the beggars bazooka before i rocket jumped with the normal rocket launcher

Nate, there's also a technique with the Bazooka that you overload the three rockets, causing it to explode, but you can use this to rocket jump in midair (Like... eh... crouch whilst looking backwards?) Dunno if it's patched or not, haven't played tf for a long time because computer broke down ;-;
I think they patched that and made it so you lose a rocket when you overload. It used to be even more powerful than it is now. :P

Nate, the new update made my tf2 crash when I joined a team. I deleted my transparent view models and it doesn't crash. Is that the same for you?
But when I shoot 1 rocket while i have all 3 stored, it releases all of them instead of just 1, saving the other 2
I stayed awy from this weapon for a while when it first came out, cos I didn't know how to use it
But now, I almost never go back to the stock launcher
