These are the days that you'll remember for years! Catching great fish in great weather, two mates having a great time, what more can you ask for! I'm off to bed now, you've tired me out!😮☺
Well done lads, you are the best lads I have seen for presenting the tackle and the welfare of the fish. I like the way you show the way you crush the barb and emphasize this, and the way you look after the fish in general, Its a credit too you. I see a lot of films were people bring the fish aboard and there is blood pouring from the mouth were they have hooked the fish but not crushed the barb, we can do without that. You don't know who is watching the films, these animal rights brigade, always ready to jump on us and wanting to ban fishing because it's cruel. So 10 out of10 to you lads. Keep up the good work. I am a Tope fisherman myself for the past 40 years and long may we have this sport to continue in the future. I'm of to fish for Tope in six weeks time to Ireland on the Donegall coast near Mallin Head, great place for Tope and Porbeagle shark. So you have got my spirits up now. Tight Lines.
I new this video was gonna be a banger, Kept this video in the watch list and tried to get it a few times, in the end finally getting to watch it with the new little arrival on the TV 👍
Great trip with hectic sport. The words "good fish" & "nice fish" used constantly. Is there ever a "bad fish or "horrible fish" ??? Just nit picking lol. Great video again.
Having been an angler all my life ( mostly coarse n game fishing) I now live in Thailand and still get my fishing fix I found this the most exciting thing I have watched in years and your channel in general is fantastic keep up the great work 😊😊😊
Great session on the tope, some absolute clonkers! Should be sending these videos to the Mogsaf committee to help promote the events, not that they need much promoting 😂🎣
Tope are listed as "Critically Endangered", despite being present From the UK to New Zealand and South America, and locally abundant as we see here. Eels are also supposed to be "Critically Endangered", despite the fact that you will catch them if you fish worms in any UK river.
Brilliant video lads. I'm new to rope fishing. May I ask what you look for in regards to ground and depth when deciding to target tope and what time of year do you fish for them?
@@canalpiker7546 cheers mate much appreciated 🙏 I can only speak for the area I fish, which I’m by no means an expert on. But what I’ve found is that it’s about understanding their movements relative to the time of year - ie their breeding habits. Early season (May/June) the Tope can be as shallow as 25ft (probably shallower at times) with lots that I’ve had being in the 30-50ft bracket. Then come July onwards they tend to be further offshore in 100-150+ft depth. Whereabouts are you?
@@fullcircleangling I'm in the north west mate. Mersey estuary. I got myself a small boat this year. Do my boat fishing around north wales but hopefully will do the Lancashire coast too next year.
@@canalpiker7546 should be some good fish to had off your way I’d imagine. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of folk your way with experience and happy to help👍 all I could offer with not knowing the area is look for areas with plenty of tide, Tope seem to like that. Good luck 👍
I’ve said before I’ll say it again proper Anging really entertaining and you ain’t got enough subscribers I’m telling all my so you should get two more 🥸🐶👍
