Great video David. Good to see Garry and yourself getting amongst them. I was rather intrigued to see you pull a Doggie out. In all the years I have lived and fished in the North east(And I`m not saying how many) I have never caught a Dogfish on home turf! The closest I have caught them is on trips to Bridlington and the Holderness coast. Still you never know what will turn up when you are sea fishing.

@fullcircleangling Thursday 4pm - 8.20pm South beach perfect sea. Pro angler beside me knew how to fish. Both blanked. But enjoyed it and good craic with fellow angler.
I ended up there last night just after dark had set it and the rain had stopped so just missed you, but fortunately it had lifted a bit by then and as yous mentioned to big to fish. It's about an hours drive for me so we stuck it out and tried a few places but no luck
Another great video Dave, conditions a bit tough at the start, I've noticed more doggies coming from that area, at least you had fish it's always good not to blank, keep up the good work and the Guinness my beverage of choice, tight lines.

@@Anashadk Hello from across the water 🙋♂️ thanks for watching. People do float fish in the summer, in winter though the conditions typically don’t allow the use of lighter gear due to tide and sea state. Most marks require sturdy gear capable of nailing a bit to the bottom and pulling fish through heavy ground from distance in some cases. Hope that helps and tight lines 🙋♂️
@@gavinlangford2984 I’m not sure mate. I’d guess the whole reel is bigger, body and spool but I couldn’t say for certain. I’d give your local tackle shop a bell, they’ll be able to advise you 👍

It's one of the most well known marks on that part of the coast, still need to pit the homework in and find out where the holes/gulleys etc are, I know from previous vids when fishing less known marks he doesn't reveal them but if your a cod fisherman and don't know that mark you mustn't do much fishing
@@fullcircleangling Not now there ain't? Hope I never say 'told you so'.
