Well said I like long rods to pick up extra line and for long distance casting I also use two bobber stops one above and one below in case I get stuck and break off at anchor I don't have to spook fish to get my bobber back I like to use the same jigs I use in winter but tough to beat a glow hook and couple beads I like how you rig the leech wacky style they swim much better and less leech knots 👍

I’ve always like using the Kalins triple threat crappie jigs 1/16 oz under my slip floats. It’s like the perfect size for it.
