if you trained 8 hours per day compared to your opponent who trained 4 hours, you would train 56hrs per week whilst they would only have 28. even in weeks the difference is big enough if you go by months or years it would be even bigger. Taking into account the fact that the more you train the better you are, youll be light years ahead of competition. So yea, wake up at 4 to study, train or work at your craft this applies to any thing that needs passion really.

I been watching ball since I can remember sports. we the reason we down play kobe because people just skip him and go straight to jordan. lbj is 3-4 but he the goat right. so if he lose this year what's your excuse going to be with a 3-5 record. jerry west was a great point guard but you no why people don't talk about him. 0-9 finals bruh. that counts against your legacy but you damn lbj fans gloss over that and sat but he got 3 finals mvps lmao

I respect this message enormously. The only qualm I have about it is that I think Kobe never gave himself enough time to rest, which could help explain the injuries he suffered toward the end of his career.

well Kobe is definitely never going to catch up to me in sleep skill. I am way further along at my 4-8am sleep routine. I could do this all day SON!
In fact, I am up late, preparing for my session... I'm about to go get this pillow on and sleep like an All Star!
(haha, props to Kobe, he is amazing. Like a shaolin monk. when he says "doesn't matter what you do, I think he was slapping water and doing finger-stands)

Kobe’s just so inspirational man. The last speech of the video was so thoughtful - “dancing beautifully in your own box”. He mentioned how his goal changed from when he was a kid until he has become the legend he was, and he achieved his goal in every way - to have his passion inspire so many others and pass on his basketball legacy. R.I.P. legend 🙏🏻💪🏻

Hopefully more high school and college players adopt this mindset, because the NBA overall is becoming a weak product. Most of the guys who are stars now are barely fundamentally sound. It also shows in their games that they don't have the passion for greatness like this. The NBA used to have a bunch of guys who wanted to be the very best, and worked at it. Guys like even Mike Bibby used to stay in the gym until he hit thousands of shots daily after games. I doubt the league has many if not any who does that now. As a huge NBA fan, I truly hope guys take the game more seriously. When you see guys like Kyle Lowry possibly getting 200 million, you know the game is getting wack. I know the market dictates pay, but if he's being paid like one of the best in the game, we as fans will continually get a more marginal product.

He is literally speaking to the masses. You want to beat everyone? He is telling everyone this is how winning is done. He is clocking years of dedication and letting you know this is how greatness is done, this is my life. Never been passionate about much, but if I was I hope I would take this approach, guaranteed win.
