I just turned the steering to the left, and it gave room to work without taking the tire off. I got an Import Direct part from O'reillys, and it was the hardest thing to put on. It's like they put the fitting on 180 out. I'm assuming when it was made, it was put in the bag right after, and it caused the rubber to bend the opposite of correct, so it was pretty hard to get the banjo bolt in the pump.
After 4 hrs of messing with it, I finally got it on. The top bracket behind the intake was a bear also. I had to take the 2 bolts off, tighten the bracket onto the hose, then tug and pull to bolt the bracket back to the intake. The car has over 200k miles on it, and many things were hard and brittle, causing leaks. The sensor ended up breaking trying to remove so a new one went on. The rack side, I had to unscrew the metal line going to the box and remove the 2 pieces as one. The connection between the two was stuck also. A vise, wrench, and hammer to get the two separated.
I've never had so much trouble replacing a power steering hose.

Double-checking tools for the R/R of the PSH. At the 2:11 time, you used 19 mm to hold the line 14 mm to remove the nut. On the replacement at 5:10 you up to a 24mm holding the line 14mm to tighten. Did something change with the new PSH?

I removed the upper and lower power steering line from pump to rack and it was the most difficult part I removed to date, took me 6 hours just to remove so hopefully it goes on faster. It a bit harder without a lift and big hands

TIP: It's really hard to find the upper attachment point behind the intake manifold by just looking and trying to see it, but it's easy to see the hose, so just spot the hose and run your hand up along it until you can feel the attachment point.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to fliming this job, but honestly it missing the crucial part on where do you reach the end of the hose that connects to the steering mechanism, you showed how to remove the end that connects to the pump, the bracket in the middle of the hose , but how / where did you get to remove the other end near the mark @2:00

Did you take the entire wheel off to reach for the job? Because I got the first bracket off behind the intake
Now I been 5 hours trying to even reach the damn thing to loosen it

i need to replace the pressure switch. is 27 psi correct for a 2010 Altima? Seems like a lot going into aluminum.
