any idea what year this motor is? I have a 200TXRP (1991) that I *think* has the same procedure for carb removal, but I wanted to ask. Thanks!

      This is a 1996 200Hp
I believe 1984-1996 200hp have many of the same parts & features.

I have identical carbs as the one in the video. Do you know how many turns out the idle screw adjustment is suppose to be? Rebuilding my carbs and they are all out of whack

      According to the manual for a 200hp pilot set screw turns out 1 1/8th +- 1/4 (7/8 - 1 3/8)
Best bet is to get you the manual to your exact engine. It’s worth every penny

Rough starting, rough idle and would not stay on. Boat sat for some time

Do you have a carburetor rebuild kit video

I do not, “Michael Romer” on TH-cam has a great rebuild video on a Yamaha carb

Can you tell me what that tubing is sticking out to the right at 3:48? Is that a vacuumed hose and should it be connected somewhere?
There is also a gray tube on the same side by the bottom carb with a pink strip on it and is smaller than a fuel line which looks to have a little bit of oil in it. It’s currently also not connected to anything and I don’t see where it should be connected. I have a feeling both of these tunings are just bypass and don’t connect to something.

I’m not one hundred percent sure which hose you are trying to point out. I have another video which is disconnecting the air box assy which is the black plastic that goes in front of the carbs. In that video there is two hoses one up too and one smaller hose on the bottom. I show them clearly. Check and see if those are the ones you are talking about. Those are vacuum hoses if it’s the ones you speak of.

@@jonnyglez3530 ok let’s get to basics. have you changed your spark plugs? Changed your fuel filters? Overhauled your carbs?
Also I highly suggest you run the boat on an external fuel tank with fresh fuel.
Running off an external tank does a few things.
If the boat runs good off the external tank we know the issue is from fuel line to the tank. (Possible clogged pickup tube, bad fuel hoses, water in fuel, issues with vent etc) if the boat runs the same we can now focus directly on the engine.
