Weddings usually takes 5 days at the very least(my grandma always tells me how it's like in those days and how she is married) this movie came at a time where the weddings gotten short downed to 2 days, it takes all the important parts intact and show people how a wedding should look like, sadly people now a days reducing it, an Indian wedding isn't about exchanging rings, dancing all day with alhochol and food. It isn't the main theme and who even brought rings into this. Even old European weddings didn't have rings, it's all greed of a single diamond comany.
It's not much different in southern India part of Hindu marriage system . Telugu,kannada,Tamil, Malayalam similar kind of traditional marriages are made in Hindu marriage system.As a southern part of India people connected one as traditions but only different is language nothg else

That's why Andhra people have jobs and positions...now telnagana people growing from 90s..that's why state separated after hyd development by all regions ..but friluits for telangana

And to be honest most of the traditions were also missing in this song which we follow. You may notice some different traditions in the name of వంశ పారపర్య which only belongs to certain families and this has nothing to do with region. I know you will come up with eating non veg and drinking alcohol in wedding again it has nothing to do with region. As its not tradition its their choice!
