Sydney's locs are growing out so beautifully. I love it. It's good that you are letting the loctician do the maintenance on her locs. Once they're fully locked you can take over if you wish. Years ago when I started my loc journey I started taking care of my own before they were fully locked and it has been hard every since to get that neat grid line back. Your hair is so thick and lovely. It shows that you really take care of your hair and the little queen's hair. You lovelies take care. ❤
Ok I spoke too soon, either way but she looks fabulous. I’m so happy that she’s embracing her hair and you’re a beautiful mom who supports her whole heartedly ❤❤❤
It’s coming along nicely and I remember when I started mine I got them done every 3 weeks til they locked… then I think I did them once a month… I can’t wait to see when Sydney’s get longer…
Giving her ,her best foundation is actually listening to the loctitian. A style would hold the integrity until they actually loc. Then she can do more activities without going through each time her hair is washed
Her hair will loc with or without a style. It may take a little longer but that's ok. This is Sydney's loc journey and I'm allowing her to choose the path most suitable.
@@SupaNatural You are quite welcome young lady. I was unable to have children unfortunately but if I could have, I believe it would’ve been like this! Stay strong and blessed🙏🏾
I’ve been loc’d for 7 years. The relaxed ends might not have to be trimmed. I suggest asking the loctician if she could use a three-pronged crochet hook to instant loc the ends to keep them from unraveling. It’s a painless process that will help establish a strong foundation for her locs. Her hair looks amazing either way. ❤
Her loctician did a beautiful job... ❤ It... Patience is definitely key when starting locs... Do you know if her loctician uses the single, double or triple crochet hook... The tool helps to lock in straight or loose hairs into the loc and aids in sealing the ends...
This is Beautiful! Love that you encourage and support her on decisions that involve her hair... helps to strengthen self-awareness and self-esteem/confidence. I started my microlocs journey 3yrs ago and my only regret is I didn't start earlier 😊
@@SupaNatural Go for it!!! (I'm biased of course 😉). You know mine were started with two-strand twists by my loctician and she maintains them but I did ask her to teach me in the event our schedules don't sync b/c I'm cautious about allowing anyone's hands/energy in my hair/space. What I do like about microlocs is the maintenance schedule is less strict as opposed to sisterlocs from what I've been told. I've seen your videos and the care you put into healthy hair for you and your baby girl I believe you can maintain your locs of you choose to😊
Baby girl looks happy and beautiful. Hair is so thick and healthy! I recently got starter locs coil method my hair is more on the finer side but ima stick it out 😆
Q the stylist knew that hair got wet lol but I love the way you have your daughters back and allow her to make decisions. I think it was a good idea to go back to the stylist too. I wonder if she can put a small perm rod on the permed ends to make it blend better. It might give off goddess locs.
Omg her hair is so beautiful and growing so fast. Looks so good. I know her hair loves water, but until her hair loc's try not to use water just oil a couple of times a week.
That stylist ain't crazy 😂 she knew her hair was getting wet. You shouldn't use water like the stylist said AND you putting too much moisturizer in her hair especially in the beginning stage.
Just started the video and Syd isn’t crying. BRB!!!
Just a little but she did so much better and wants to return!! ❤
Her hair grow so fast ❤
We faithfully use my hair growth oil. supaluxx.etsy.com
Her hair looks great!🤩 She seems happier! I think she’s found her hair style!!😎
I think so too! ❤️

I'm thinking about getting micro locs but the maintenance seems daunting.

Yes thanks to my Supa Growth Hair Oil! ❤️
Looks beautiful. Syd’s hair grows like momma’s ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! ❤️
When starting out you need to keep water from her head as much as possible, it slows the lock journey
Noted. ❤️

So how long did this take the second time? Did her locs come undone because you waited so long before you had them redone?
It took about 1hour and 30 minutes. Some locs became undone because we used water daily.
Beautiful hair hehe
